No "Finish" from stealth
Well, as far as I know, Finishing Move brakes Stealth.
If not, user is hacking. Or game engine can’t handle its own features.
I do not wonder.

If they remove stealth finisher, remove stability finisher as well. Just that as well.

Then all thieves are hackers! (except mine )
It’s impossible to target when they attack-hide-attack-hide-attack-hide-finish. This totally negates the downed skills you have.

stability and quickness finishers are fine imo, stealth are NOT, the reason is even if they are hard to counter quickness if you are fast enough can be interrupted still, and well stability can be bursted down, a stealth you cant even see is coming

So, no more finishers in stealth, in any transformations, under the Quickness buff,
Also: any coordinates change must breaks finisher too – steal and any kind of teleports.

burst down stability? not so much. The people who have access to a stability utility skill either are heavy armor or are pretty good at staying alive regardless of the 3 or w/e seconds it takes to finish(ele stability gives protection and they already outlive anyone atm, mesmer just makes clones and you burst down likely the wrong one). Not to mention mistform finisher or that mini engineer skill. If they wana use an elite skill just to gain stability for a finisher well then thats their loss but I rarely see that.

when you start stomping, you loose all buffs, including stealth/haste etc.

WvW thieves will still be able to stomp in stealth due to culling and quickness by your idea would be useless. No.

The way I see it, the downed state pretty much signifies the end of battle for you. If I want to use stealth to finish you off while avoiding your pathetikittentle attacks (Especially if your buddies are trying to get you up), then far be it from me to not use such a tactic.

IMO, the downed state should be removed from PvP… It’s a nice touch for PvE but being killed by a player you just killed (thought you killed) is ridiculous. Downed/Rally IMO should be saved for PvE. You’re downed, you lost – I 100% agree.. but with downed state/rally this isn’t the case, people come back from the dead & it plays way too much into PvP that can turn the tide.
Well u can still block quickness finisher, but u cant block stealth person, it’s kinda bullbanana..shicz…

well as long as they are standing and finishing they cant move, and really? burst down the wrong mesmer… did you REALLY say that? you know clones don’t finish ppl only the real one, so a rather big give away which one you should burst down… your whole argument pretty much revolves around you (and your friends) got outplayed

Stealth finishers are very easy to counter. If you know where the thief is going to be (which you definitely do, in the question of finishers) then you can easily drop ground-cast skills or spam melee attacks at that location. Since stealth is a thief’s only line of defense when immobile (i.e., when performing a finisher) you’ll find it astoundingly easy to kill them in less than the time of a finisher.
