They couldn’t tell you really, as they are FA. Though many of us were confused and kept trying to enter red keeps all week after so long in 3rd.

There’s a huge difference between CD and DB—especially this last week. Don’t get me wrong, CD has some good players (mad props to those who are staying). But the loss of their core guilds has left their zergs somewhat headless until they can get their community back up on their feet.

And Kary’s right. Just looking for some good fights. Hoping to see some guilds out in DB BL tonight for some good action. I don’t think our actions will affect the outcome of this tier—I’m pretty sure DB is staying in it for at least another week.

I would like to think I’m the more reasonable thinking of [TG] so the answer is…maybe. :-p We’ll try to be on our best behavior but just remember not all of [TG] are hotheads. ;-) Best way to deal with us – taking our suggestions seriously, but take the insults lightly.

We are certainly a formidable foe, but there is no one guild or guilds that “control” our WvW efforts. Random “pugs” (as in, don’t go into WvW with their guild or a group) can go wherever they want and be effective- at the very least, they will call out the location of enemy zergs/ninjas. I often see guild tags I’ve never seen before setting up siege or escorting dolyaks- this sort of thing makes DB strong.

Obviously I’m not trying to downplay the major guilds we have- they are bring a heck of a lot to the table, and field excellent, experienced commanders. But DB is pug-friendly, and generally optimistic, even in defeat; wiping is looked at as pulling the enemy out of position and allowing towers to upgrade.

Seems like most “competitive” guilds want a strict organization and chain of command to control the battlefield like a solid unit, but that’s not what DB is, and that makes us a poor choice to move to.

Red Warrior I always see in battle that just fought me North of Overlook and West of Veloka: that was fun.

Something that downright amazes me on FA (I’m new to FA) is that people in map chat are saying follow the commander… they don’t even know me. I’m actually fairly competent, but their spirit is one of teamwork and cooperation. When the other commanders join the zone they whisper you to see what your plan is and how to help.

Mmmmm. Chain of command WITH democratic approach. I love it.

I understand what you are saying. When I jump into WvW (I’m a casual player there), I often just find something and do it. I may take out a sentry/dolyak, I may scout enemy locations, and I may join a party or zerg for taking larger objectives. I feel useful even without following a single order from a commander.

Perhaps the PUG-friendly nature of DB is due to the fact we started out as the unofficial PvE server? Just seems to fit, in my mind.

You have since changed your tune to say that you didn’t mesh on CD. That’s ok, people can change their opinions.

It’s funny how yesterday you sent me an in game mail all nice and sweetness, and today you are on the forums backstabbing and calling me jaded….thanks for illustrating my point

And yes, it WAS an exodus, regardless of how many 10 man guilds you list on your little pickle site. KH (500 man guild), LW (500 man guild), RISE [500 man guild], LaZy (500 man guild), GOF [500 man guild] TG, and some mid sized guilds CYN, ORB, LORD, VAL, ESF, DH and several others are gone.

Suggestions are always welcome. But take insults to a whisper please and not do it via team/map/say. It’s understandable to disagree with commanders, but to publicly insult anyone (not just commanders) is uncalled for and honestly nobody wants to have their chat box full of 2 guys going back and fourth.

Well, after reading some of the post of wanting DB to sit back and willingly drop down to t4 i have to disagree. Krew for one will not sit back and drop. We are a WvW focused guild and thats all we do. Doesnt matter if we only have a 5man grp or a 30man grp we will be in WvW win or lose giving the other 2 servers hell(in this case this week Defending our borderlands). We will go all out and where we end up for our tier is where we end up at least we knw we gave it our best. Once we found out Astral was fixed last night Edgar asked us to dolyak escort to hills to get it upgraded! it was great, soo many pushes FA made to the dolyaks i believe the guild tag was HIRE or HERO? sorry i forget but it was great fights all night and we managed to save every dolyak! idc if we drop to t4 and fight kaineng. we as a server will make them work hard if they want that win!

[EA] is another tag you will see actively out there. Come hell or high water.

[TG] is an awesome guild and I’m disappointed they aren’t moving to FA, but DB will be a great home for them.

Honestly, I kind of hope maguuma smashes the skittles out of us because I really don’t want to spend tier 2 money on seige.

You need to take a politics class.

Why would we go around telling everyone CD is having a mass exodus? For one it’s not true and it also paints a very negative picture of the server. I’m on it to stay, and there’s no way I won’t continue to try to get more participants for it, which involves minimizing impact from drama that the guilds which left cd created.

Tuesday night, one of [Lime]‘s WvW nights, we had an absolute blast. We joined forces with the (now gone) [RISE] and (staying) [LOM] and were able to save our borderlands and then popped in to EB BL to make sure we didn’t get shut out. It was probably one of the best nights I had experienced in WvW. That’s why all this stuff breaks my heart.

If you truely were sorry, you would have corrected your post. Even the numbers for the guilds you posted there are incorrect. Your making assumtions and showing them as fact. You say your not trying to troll, yet create post with false truths.

I have no issue with anyone that chose to leave, but do so with some class [CYN]

Look at that PPT. We are holding our own against what seems to be a tier 2 server and a tier 3 server.

Yeah, that guy was jaded by a CD guild that went to BG anyway. 2 guilds leaving for TC (one no one really knew about anyway) and apparently we’re all exporting to TC? Bandwagoner/lemming mentality, whatevs.

Actually no, “this guy” wasn’t jaded by a guild that went to BG anyway….he and his guild were fed up with all the drama and backstabbing on CD, fighthing commanders, and one man trying to be King of the Alliance. It’s funny how yesterday you sent me an in game mail all nice and sweetness, and today you are on the forums backstabbing and calling me jaded….thanks for illustrating my point

And yes, it WAS an exodus, regardless of how many 10 man guilds you list on your little pickle site. KH (500 man guild), LW (500 man guild), RISE [500 man guild], LaZy (500 man guild), GOF [500 man guild] TG, and some mid sized guilds CYN, ORB, LORD, VAL, ESF, DH and several others are gone.

I wish CD the best of luck in the future, but gossipingbackstabbing players such as yourself are part of the problem in the community

If all those “500 man” guilds ever produced even 100 people on a regular basis, CD wouldn’t be where it is. Also, last night a few of those tags at the end were saying they’re staying, idk maybe something changes while I slept?
