@ all….in regards to PRO transfering

No PRO isnt leaving, we’ve helped push DR to T5 no need to stop now.

Someone asked if it was an internal server or fair weather fighting transfer. If it would have been true i can guarantee you it wouldnt be fair weather transfering. The last time PRO moved we literally moved to the last ranked server in the game, DR.

@ the DR gamer would doesnt like PRO. Those that dont like us judge us based on PRO trying to make things happen on maps. Its extremely frustrating when you go into EB and see nothing but zerg fail train after another. See the zerg flip nodes just to lose them 15 mins later because everything is paper, no siege, no upgrades started. Its extremely frustrating to go to DR BL and find zero scouts watching over key places and find a fortified wall down to 10% health because 1 player set up 1 catapult and manned it for over an hour hitting the wall because nobody bothered to keep an eye out. Frustrating to see our Garrison reinforced watergate down to 20% health by 1 ram and 5 or so enemies because nobody checked one the contested state. Couple tons of moments like that with the calls for “PRO can you send a commander to…”, “PRO can you send folks to…”, “PRO can you, can you, can you….” Gets to the point a lot of PRO, including myself, just get tired of it.

Let me give you some prime examples:
- DR BL turning all green, almost no DR on the map cuz they’re all in EB. What few PRO/GASM are online are trying to stem the green virus that has taken all but 3 points on the map. Pop over to EB, where there was a queue, and ask the commander there to send help. (dont forget now, queue in EB). EB map has 3-4 red dots on it, with a queue. The Commander there’s response to aid from a queued map, “If i send anyone to DR then I’ll lose Overlook.” No help sent. Soooooo…lets keep Overlook and lose an entire map, gotcha on those strats. It worked out in the end though. GASM/RED/Rega/WvW/WP managed to get some folks into DR and alongside PRO we pushed the map clean.
- Last night, DR BL turning green on one side, blue on the other, and then going blue all over. Someone from EB pops in, “We need help, we’re losing EB” and strips the handful of randoms from DR BL. Went to EB for help…again…“If we leave we’ll lose SM”….gotcha…lose entire borderland map to hold SM. Those “winning” strats….yay. Finally get DR BL under control when a call for “PRO can you send a commander to EB…” comes rolling in. Eyan, who’d meant to log 3 hrs prior, went over to offer some help.

Lets not mention the fact that PRO members are spending vast gold amounts in upgrades/siege while the zerg mentality folks run off to another fight. It’s not just PRO either. GASM/Rega/WP/RED, and a few smaller guilds are also “bearing the cost burden” of trying to hold onto what we take while the vast majority of DR are running to the next fight with no thought to whats behind them.

Zerging by DR has been mentioned in this thread numerous times by Mag/BP as failed strat and asking why we keep doing it. Well? Zergers answer it please, why do you keep doing fail strats? Since reset DR been on the short end of the stick, yet DR hasnt changed it’s strats….why? It’s obvious what folks are doing isnt working, yet when someone, PRO or not, gets in mapchat trying to change the fail flow of things, folks start getting heated and dont want to listen. EB is a prime example…i use to LOVE that map, but it’s morphed into nothing but a zergfest, so I dont even bother going there anymore.

So before you want to toss rocks and spit at us…remember this: without guilds like ours YOU wouldnt be where you are today.

Answer to Dred: Everything in EB always upgraded beside the towers we call Bi..h towers “durios QL WC and Klovan”. I never sent anybody ever to devona’s bl to ask for help and I sent players everytime I am asked for. You should stop acting like you or PRO is gods gift to humanity that is the only reason people doesn’t like you. You should also understand in EB I am running a server not just my guild. Most of those people are new to the game they don’t even know there are upgrades in the game. I have been training people on how to use siege how to upgrade how to defend every time before reset so before you criticise think twice.

I am just disappointed we work for devona so hard and we even carried it to T5 which it wasn’t ready yet and in first challenge we toss you just leave.

Conclusion: If we would be able to field as much as people we had when we were winning we would give Maguuma a goodfight and would probably be second in this tier. Today we are going to try our best with the people who are not scared. I hope everybody have fun in all servers.

Perhaps When I see this behavior in map chat in the future, I’ll begin educating our new players that talking like that to them is a reportable offense and teach them how the report function works. It musn’t be OK if you got a toss for it, which means it can happen again.

Someone who recently left was one of a few major offenders with how they behave. AOD also has a few.

I haven’t seen that and Negligentwheel have been removed from AoD because of his attitude towards guild mates 6 days ago. I didn’t report anything and I haven’t seen the picture you can send me the link so I can understand what you are talking about. But, The building I work in, they keep the temp at almost 75 degrees!! I can’t really wear shorts in January, I really push my luck trying to wear them in November if the temp hasn’t dropped below 70.

No, while they do have a large force, they still are very smart about controlling supplies, maintaining their keeps, and forcing us off of their keeps — i.e. when we had SM upgraded, they took Mendon’s and forced us to pick between OL or SM. Devona’s had some arguements last week but most of the negativity seems to have subsided, and we learned alot moving up this week. I don’t know about you guys but I’m going to be actively ignoring players that immediately kitten when things get tough. That being said the battles this week have been fantastic, even in the larger zerg battles there’s been alot of portal bombs/backdoors/etc. Its been great and look forward to the next week

The Borlis Pass warrior from [Gods] should be a little less obvious about hacking or a little bit better at warrior. At least teleport far enough that I can’t see you.

Maguuma went through a similar transition a few months ago. When you start meeting competition that you can’t beat easily, people will start to bail or spending more time in PvE/sPVP. What you’ll be left with, however, is a stronger group of people that give their all even when they are losing by a lot. That group will get better and better and as you start gaining ground, more and more pugs will start joining WvW and the core group will have the experience to better utilize those pugs.

Looking forward to a good fight tonight, I’ll be the guildless human female thief sniping yaks and running into groups I have no chance of beating.

In all seriousness: I gave PRO props when I fought them in T6 with NSP because how much I believed they had improved. I stand by that and can only say that in the end his leaving will likely be a good thing for you guys. So good luck and keep kicking behinds!

Meh. I see arguements about skill levels and population levels geing an issue this week. I have to both disagree and agree with these sentiments.

As for skill levels, a good commander can make a differenceas can good group fighters. Niether is worth a thing if the other isn’t there though.

As for population, having a larger population would be important in 2 ways. How many people are actually showing up in WvW AND how many are cooperating with the group. More importantly though is WHEN and how many are showing up. The closer a server can get to 24 hour coverage the more likely a low through mid level standings week will end in a blowout.

The 24 hour coverage blowout is a huge problem in te lower half of the tiers and I can’t think of any solutions to that. It ruins a servers morale since no matter what happens or how well you do, it will all be lost in the night. This leads to reduced morale and thus a population that continues to shrink even further. The morale issue then causes guilds that continue to fight on to move to other servers where their efforts might have some more of an effect on the game and thus their guild recruiting ability.

In short, unless players feel like they are doing something other than a pointless activity that sucks income from them in a game that already makes wealth extremely difficult, then they just stop doing that activity.

People are complaining that BP has not been fighting as well during the week as n the weekend. Well, we don’t have a strong 24 hour coverage (those that have been fighting in the non-US time zones have really done well i the face of a no-win struggle), declining numbers logging in and server transfers. this has been happening for weeks now and it’s old.

Now it feels like we are more just killing time than anything. I know I stopped upgrading anything since it was about to be lost anyway. Since a couple days ago, I’ve also pretty much just stopped WvW. The lack of rewards in WvW makes playing it too expensive and uninteresting. If I can’t win at the meta game war, could I at least get some drops Anet?

Negligentwheel being tossed is good news for you, and I apologize for not making myself aware of that information.

Please, allow me to to me to restart a little then.

There are many many interactions that exist with you where you can appear.. pigheaded. I know you have a considerable following, and It makes me hesitant on butting heads with you because it can stall momentum. You know you have had problems with how you behave in map chat. And there have been occasions where your desire to own SM has resulted in more of a negative impact than a positive ( points wise)

I will not attempt to pretend you haven’t had wins, and you have led people victories, but if you where to weigh the positive against the negative, one would have to wonder how much of it all is due to zerg numbers over tactic, and ability to lead.

I have watched zergs and zergs of people get demanded to defend/attack SM and camps and towers are just left. to get taken by skeleton crews. Every step we take past 6 we will be the underdogs. We can’t depend on numbers in place of common sense.

I have been present in EB where all I needed was one other player to get a camp back, but your ranting places unnecessary amounts of people in a place that ultimately sacrifices points in other places. That help doesnt happen, next thing we are losing a second camp, then a third, then our towers are under attack. I have seen towers fall under your command while you were busy working on SM, I have barely begged for help repairing doors and you offer nothing except distraction away from that. I Have helped you defend your very own Keep, and leave your own doors at 25%. Guess who repaied it? me, a few randoms and a Pro or two. That’s something you can’t overlook. Sometimes I feel like you think you ARE the team, as opposed to part of it.

Other players from other servers have pointed this out to you, but I and probably many others, feel like you ignore it all. It’s frustrating, man. We need to learn to work with multiple smaller forces, with smart efficient tactics and siege usage if we are going to last up here and I sometimes feel like you almost, unknowingly, work against that.

However, Maguuma does have a more consistent population, and an almost unbreakable morale. The same people who play on reset are the same people who play the rest of the week. Most other servers drop significantly on Sunday night or Monday morning, but Maguuma does not. Even when we are losing, we have fun.

As a member of BP, the only mention I have heard of any form of truce, alliance, whatever, has been here in the forums. We have a long and glorious history of just attacking everything that’s marked in red, suicidally or not.

It could be true, but I have not seen anything like it. Shame on us if we chose this path. I know I could not and would not take part in this practice. Play as intended or not at all.

…To be fair, if all they intended was “Hit anything red.” it would be WvW….not WvWvW. With 3 worlds, it becomes as much political as “physical”.(Physical in quotes because you’re only beating up pixels. :p )

Maybe we haven’t been able to mass our people together as well, but Monday/Tuesday was the biggest zerg I’ve seen in the game. It’s disappointing sometimes too with culling/stealth forcing reculling of groups.

Oh, BP still had fun, it just gets old ya know? There’s no point in taking targets and certianly no point in upgrading when they are as good as lost anyway. I can’t tell you how often I’ve caught discussions that went like “lets upgrade Hills”, “why?” “to defend it!” What for? we’re just going to lose it in a few. probably before the upgrades even get done". THAT means it isn’t fun anymore. THAT is where the population drops.

I think the word “population” is being used in two different ways as well. Some are referring to the servers as a whole and some are referring to the WvW population. I would think this would lead to some confusion and miscommunication. I know that in the past I have tried defending our BL and when we grouped up we found that there were only 5 of us holding the map. I’ve been on there with 3 fighters before too. Tell me that wouldn’t be disheartening to find over and over.

The other side of that coin would be that even with this, I’ve seen us fight well. I’ve seen us take on larger numbers and win. However, it sucks when it’s all for nothing.

Thanks for the loot bags yesterday [OG]. I didn’t know that you guys liked to run around in zergs so much. Funny part is after the first couple of kills, everyone seemed so hell-bent on killing me that they were willing to run through DR’s entire zerg to do it. That of course did not work out very well. I think I got at least 10 bags from you guys until that… unfortunate 5v1 near the jumping puzzle.

You can have same Tag check the guild name we don’t have any members in other servers. In past we sent few members for training to tier 1 but they did not represent guild on those weeks.

Here is the guild name. We kind of gave him a lot of crap but he kept just saying it was a friend’s guild. Whether or not that’s true, it kind of leaves a bad impression.

Also guys, this thread has become DR internal affairs chat again and most of us are not interested. It really does not help to discuss these things in public.

You can have same Tag check the guild name we don’t have any members in other servers. In past we sent few members for training to tier 1 but they did not represent guild on those weeks.

I will admit, you annoy the snot out of me, but you aren’t on ignore. So that should say something. The last few weeks, after our first win, we had a massive population over all our competition, except this week passed. I think that anyone with their finger on the pulse knew that this week would have not been a win walking into the numbers and skill we stepped up into.

I am not trying to say, we lost cause of numbers, but it contributes. I think we lost because we need to play better. not that we suck, but we have learning to do.

The fact that so many people complain about James is good, imo. So I’m right there with you.

Tatts from RGTG is actually a really nice guy at heart he’s excitable. He and I talked about his interaction that you and he had that placed him on your ignore list. And I explained how his frustrations with you could be counterproductive. So, I say this crap to my friends too. You may not realize the aggravation you share with other people trying to accomplish things outside of your army, in EB. There are others who go out there, and there are other commanders who flag up and it can appear that you ignore their efforts or shoulder their work if it isn’t in line with your own planning.

You sometimes hog the whole sandbox when all you are after is a small section.

You probably cant see this, But I am willing to bet that there are commanders who simply have given up on you and your obsession with EB. I can tell you from experience, I have been on an enemy BL making a crawl, up the east side, just having finished a cap on Hills, at the gate and a call comes in to save SM !!! !!! !!! !!!! !!!! I jump over and SM is under siege and the rest of what should be our property is in turmoil. camps and towers both lost. Nobody sent out to regain. Chat is full of you simply looking like a maniac. I left. I knew I was wasting time. Better to come back after we are done losing SM and there is a better chance that you will share, when SM getting capped is less important than the remainder of the property we lost for it’s sake.

SM can only be defended from the inside out for so long before it needs those towers and camps, and people are needed at those locations before they are lost, or while they are being capped. Numbers are squandered if we have a group simply chasing down and recapping what we lose. Our supply is still being effected and the enemy team taking it all apart is off getting the next camp before we retake the first. It’s a degenerative Cycle.

I won’t lie Morningstar, I think you could do a bang up job out there, but I don’t think you can do it alone and you will be doing it alone as long as you believe and act as if you are the only person out there trying to lead people.

Teach the newbs how to join your squad. spam them in that. use map chat to work with other commanders in other areas of the map. You have dependable people you work with, I’m sure. Keep them out of your squad so you can control the maximum number of people. Your peeps will still run with you.

Ask people to who follow you for help. Like really want it. “Could use a few peeps to go to XYZ and check on..” or " so’n’sp needs a few more, can we get a could of you to go support till… " If people are devoted to following you, they will absolutely want to help you like that. I promise you, if you ask for a favor and not demand and action, you will get better results, make more friends out there, and you will start feeling like you aren’t the only guy out there.

Here’s hoping he doesn’t do something lame to you guys in the future like he did to Kaineng back in the old days when he came to Kaineng for a day to ‘Enjoy the awesome night crew’ (Take orb and purposely lose it to his PRO mates when I told him to stay at the alter with it). DR deserves better, especially with undeserving Kaineng on the rise.

Not really, Considering the population we exploded up to in such a short amount of time, I expected our loss to result in a Kain-styled implosion. Instead I think we will see a better DR next week. I think in the long run lots of good came of this arguing.

The other stuff, the numbers, the complaints against mag, psh. DR has heard the same complaints for a few weeks now, I find it a little funny to see DR now complaining about it. I’m not sure what people are upset with Mag about/for. I really learned a lot form some of your forum posters and sincerely hope we get another go at this match up again.
