This is sorta boring, sorry. The whole premise of rotating matchups was to introduce new players. We did this matchup last week.

Not a big fan of the whole accumulated points score to determine matchups. I like the idea of winners go up, losers go down. I digress.

I don’t think I can personally handle another week like last week.. or the week before. haha. Think I sold my soul to the gods to survive the 14+ hour days i put in last week.

BG player here. T1 is not determined by the weekend. T1 is determined by the 24/7 weekday coverage. We’ll see how things look Monday evening.

He is being a stupid troll and QQ’er, look at his post history… He is an idiot apparently from BG, giving all of us BG’ers a bad name. Most of us wish we could slay him out in WvW, just ignore him, he is mad SBI or JQ rolled him or something.

Very nice little trick that JQ did tonight to take the hills from us without even breaking down a door. You guys talked so much smack on BG last week for being hackers . We caught you red handed screenshots, videos were taken. I hope everyone in the screen shots and video that we took tonight of you guys gets banned. Get ready to get beat down like the ugly red headed step child of tier one that you are.

Truth. My group caught JQ once trying it, and they all fled. I just assumed they all were regrouping somewhere inconspicuous. After that, we had a full zerg checking for mesmers and found none.

10 minutes later, Lord room under attack with no walls taken. Maybe we missed a mesmer, but I highly doubt it.

Overall until that point, great fights and epic battles. Terrible that a few guilds decided to ruin it though. (SS and videos WERE in fact taken)

Very curious HOW, seeing as for as long as I was on (since 12:00EST) the inner gate was not ONCE destroyed.

Must have been a sneaky mesmer staying alive for 4 hours inside the lord room of a keep….

BTW, Boss, I am BG lol. I am agreeing with you. My previous post makes it seem like i was reffering to your group. I will re-edit it for clarity’s sake.

Did SBI make it past inner gate at shadaran hills before that?

I don’t think so. The inner walls of the keep were never breached, ever, so you couldn’t have had a mezmer inside. You guys magically appeared right on the bridge. There was no contention. We were able to port back to the keep while you guys were fighting inside the lord room. There was no breach to the inner gate after you guys portaled there. I was there. We have a video and screenshots of the whole thing and they are being sent to A-net.

The inner walls were never breached and we held shad for at least 6 hours.

I would like to give shout outs to SBI as well. Even most of JQ. Shaddaran keep fiasco not withstanding, some great fights were had all around, and I am looking forward to this week.

I don’t condone cheating but BG has become WaterGate for all the tears they shed in these threads.

As I watched JQ knock down the north walls at Bay and SBI plow thru the south gate at Bay, I prepared for a good old fashioned DAoC 3 way. Only to have that dream crushed when I saw SBI stop, setup siege and wait while JQ fought us in the Lord room and only stepping in once JQ had wiped to take their own shot at the keep. Luckily, once we were dead they had to fight each other for the real estate which enabled us to get back and defend again. All told we held the keep for almost an hour with three walls/gates down. Great job out there BG, keep it up!!

SBI uses that wait and watch tactic a lot. They did that mid week last week to be able to take Stone Mist. I told my group to do it to SBI but we went in and beat up the defenses enough for SBI to take it easily.

A lot of people are wondering what happened at Shadaran Hills from a JQ perspective so here it is.
A well known commander JQ received a PM by a mesmer saying he was successfully planted in Hills. The commander then logs in to the borderlands because he wasn’t in there. He then excitedly tells the map and his guild to rally on him because we finally had an opportunity to take a key point on the map. 30+ JQ rally on him and we portal in to inner Hills. Take from it what you will, but this is what happened.

Waiting and watching is a great tactic when you are guaranteed not to be attacked by one of the two combatants fighting 30 yards in front of you. Hell with that kind of safety net it would become the de facto standard LOL.

I heard from a reliable source that there will be a new “spy tactic” that will be used in this match. I warn everyone to be careful with players you don’t normally see on your map or your account may get banned/suspended.

Lets not turn this thread into a flame war due to the incident that occurred at the hills.
Speaking of the this incident all you have to do is use your common knowledge of the game to know that foul play was involved. It is impossible for a Mesmer to be planted in a keep that’s walls have NEVER been breached. The only way for him to “plant” himself in our keep is through some type of exploit. I really hope the folks over at JQ handle this situation.

for once, I was dressed :p well… partially. I will say that since I implemented the “nudity to confuse and frighten” play…SBI has went undefeated. just sayin

Was an exploit used to take the keep? Of course. Of the orb “hacks” of last match were some of them actual exploits? Almost certainly. So that’s people on JQ and BG exploiting, and I’ve seen a few SBI’ers using speed and fly hacks as well. We ALL have bad apples and pointing the finger of blame or talking smack about a server over these people isn’t going to help at all. I have reported people on Blackgate who I thought were exploiting just as quickly as I report people from other servers.

Should we sit on the forums and bemoan the loss of a keep, regardless of the circumstances, or should we try and take it back? I know for me, and for the guild I am in, the fact that we aren’t completely dominating the match is absolutely brilliant. We’d rather have a close loss than a sweeping victory from day one.

We’ve come across some really good players/teams from JQ and SBI, and coming across exploiters doesn’t change that fact. It shouldn’t for anyone else here either. Lets have fun, and keep it clean here.

Hrm, we seem to be doing good at the moment. JQ tends to fall off a bit on the weekdays though, so the fight really starts at that point.

There may have been a mesmer in SBI hills keep last night, but there is no way he was able to legitimately get to the inner keep The outer keep was breached one time by SBI, the inner keep never got touched, until JQ was suddenly on the lord in force.

I think the post earlier about a commander on another borderlands receiving a PM from a random mesmer speaks volumes. That’s really all I needed to see to tell me this was indeed some kind of exploit into the keep.

So after all those accusations of BG hacking orbs, in which case it was only an individual involved and most of the cases weren’t hacks.

Okay JQ, after blaming BG for not doing anything about our so called hackers.

You know who the mesmer was, as your commander recived a PM afterall.
You even have 30 people that joined in there, which are all partially guilty too.

Show us how you properly handle hackers JQ, after blaming BG for not doing it properly you surely must know the right way to do so.

Let us learn from you to how we should properly handle such things.

anyways, here’s for the score update and hoping not every commander in BG is like raven insinuating a 2v1 early in this match… do not mistake your incompetence for something else and hoping i am very wrong on this note…..
