Except that YB actually brought tough fights with limited numbers, and defended their stuff, unlike some other certain server that just zergs around when there are bigger guilds, but then just moves on to the next capture point and never bother about defending, instead comes to forums and thumps chests or whines.

Not really nice to talk about your own server that way, no one will group with you.

It’s not really necessary to say that to your own server even if they’re blatantly known to be like that. Respect your own server, or just move away.

Hey, Fort Aspenwood (and Tarnished Coast), could you guys do me a favor? It’s been a while since Crystal Desert has been red team (if ever), and the only things I need for World Completion are a few points in the Red Borderlands, so could you guys do me a solid and pick some time this week to clear out of the Red Borderlands and let CD run the table for a bit? I can’t really make any promises that we’d give things back without a fight, but things change hands constantly anyways. Please let me know if there’s any time this week that would work for you, I’d really appreciate it.

To the mods who will inevitably review the thread and hand out infractions for people calling out the guild doing it, we’d love to just target and report them, unfortunately, they’re under the map and can very rarely be targeted.

I could say a lot of things about a lot of FA’s guilds, but [PRO] are some upstanding guys and gals.

I can see the explosions but I can’t see the people/person you are talking about. I watched the video over and over and haven’t seen PRO.. can you show me what point of the video do you select the enemy? What race were they, hairstyle? There is 3 different [PRO] guilds on FA, I need to see the target selected, etc. What are the explosions? Thief cluster bomb?

While we’re on this topic, we were never contacted by anyone from about the screenshots I provided last thread showing some individuals from PiNK and TSC dropping down from the outer map edge outside our lord room at Hills either. :S Perhaps we all need to scrutinize our rosters closer, however we obviously aren’t endorsing or have knowledge of our members doing so and our entire server is aware of that – we would report them in game and forward screenshots/video footage to exploits@arena.net ourselves if we saw it, like we did a couple days ago.

there are now THREE underground engineers attacking the TC borderlands, in unison with each other and popping in when groups make legitimate attacks against us to take down our defenders and defensive siege. we’d report them, but we can’t target them. they’re not pretending to be subtle about it either.

I think Seyrah kicked the glitcher/exploiter in question. I have several screenshots if you really need them – I’d be infracted here, though, so you can poke me ingame I guess.

As for what you’re seeing – the map glitch in question lets you go under the map, which is basically nothing but an endless ocean. From there, you can freely use projectile-based attacks to kill anything above you. The engineer in this case kept using their grenades.

Some good fights to be had already, especially on the TCBL. Keep it up, folks! And welcome, CD!

It took a little while for you guys to pick up what I was doing, but when you did all but one of you let me be. Whoever the one charr (I think Warrior, but I honestly don’t know as I didn’t even click on him) was that insisted on going after me even though I was ignoring him while he whaled away at me: I admire your tenacity, but it would have been pretty solid of you to pick up on your allies’ behavior.

Either way thanks for eventually letting me be. Two vistas left and I’m done mapping.

See that’s the problem with exploiting every day sometimes your opponents will copy your tactics. Seems unfair doesn’t it?

I’d say that this sort of attitude is detrimental to actually solving anything. You cheated, so now I’m going to cheat, but you had better not complain about it? How about be the better person, report exploiters when you see them, and try to just enjoy the game? If you take it so serious that you have to cheat, you’ve missed the point. That goes for anybody who exploits.

In case you don’t get the sarcasm, every single thing you listed is done by every server (except glitching through walls, and with that, I have no idea what you’re talking about). Including your own server and your own guild. Glitching underground then killing siege and gates is a completely different thing. But don’t let logic stop you.

Also, good job not making it any kind of accusation whatsoever. I think you broke my passive aggressive meter.

The big question is will CD do any fighting this week or just camp the EBG jumping puzzle as usual? I’ll be in CDs BL all week if you are looking for me.

Score update.
CD making a pretty poor strategic decision to hit FA today, like golem rushing Cliffside and taking Garrison during the day and even right now, taking Hills and Bluelake while we’re upgrading and making progress reclaiming everything in FA BL. Such is life when all your forces are spread and territory weak from fighting on both fronts.

It may provide a temporary point buffer for CD to get second but also assures that TC will not lose first. Guess I’m just disappointed that TC won’t be against even numbers of enemies and have to defend on their own turf, this week looks to be pretty similar to the last three. If you do manage to keep second, I hope you have fun with YB and TC again

Oh. exciting late night/early morning. Crystal Desert hammering away at Stonemist for hours.

EB has been interesting. Pretty much what I expected.

Didn’t lose Golanta for 8 hours. Lost Rogues three times in 8 hours. Haven’t lost a tower.

There was some fun, opportunistic double teaming from FA and CD at one point late in the evening, with all 4 of our towers under assault. Aldon reached 40%, but it was never really in trouble with 700 supply banked up. It was exciting, though, to defend all four towers at once from two servers. A nice change.

CD’s oceanic surge is still in effect as I write this, but their numbers haven’t really made any sort of headway in EB. We’ve held SM since around 5 hours after reset along with everything else. In contrast, CD and FA have lost towers at some point, and before they were outmanned (which makes any tower you take much less an achievement :p)

I expect us to lose SM at some point today. I expect us to lose towers in the AM period when I and other regular folk who read the map and know where to place siege are asleep, and the number game catches up with you.

The lagfest for the first 5 hours of the match as every man and his dog wandered by SM wasn’t much fun, however. >.>

All in all it’s been a fun night, and it’s settled a few questions I had.

Oh, and well done ESF on the SM east wall cats. Terrible play by us not to have 1 person at SM noticing that. Only real surprise of the night ^^

Dragon’s tooth kinda auto targets, so it can hit things that are not in line of sight. There are several skills like that.

Wow that was a really fun fight on EB at SM. SOOO much lag tho.. every button was a question of did it cast.. am I dead..lol! Aside from the lag it really was a nice fight. CD did a nice job holding both FA and TC off for as long as they did.

I know it’s easier to go where there’s less defenders, and just quick grab points. But unless we focus on TC neither server will have a chance to win.

Vistas. Come on. I was by myself.. tanked your sentry as I went by without hitting him.. had no minions spawned and rolled away from you when you started attacking me without hitting back.. used /sit emote during fight. Not sure how much more of a sign I can give that I come in peace.

Please be a little kind. I’d surely return the favor. Eye solo players up a bit before group-stomping them.. don’t be so scared to make friends and meet nice people even if they are from a different server.

We’re all pretty much the same, we just happen to be on different servers.

CD is tough. I had forgot how tough they are. They were giving us a strong fight on the TCBL. I fight almost exclusively on BLs, and that is the first time in a long time that I have seen that much fighting on our own BL.

I had totally forgotten it was Friday reset yesterday. I sat around in LA while queue’d up and thought something was wrong cause it was taking so long to get in EB.

Well that’s obvious. No one should be “mindlessly” doing anything. But there’s no point in pushing deep into 2nd / 3rd place territory, while the first place server holds SMC and most of their own border lands.

The first hour was great, it shows that we can make a dent in TC. Later in the evening I saw both CD and FA lose that focus.

Evening update:

I need to learn how to do this better.

I spent the first few hours after reset in TCBL and I was really surprised how fast CD moved compared to the speed of FA and YB that we had seen in weeks past. Luckily though, our defenses bent, but didn’t break. We rallied around Cragtop, our last tower, and decided no matter what we weren’t losing that to anyone.

CD and FA came, staggered and occasionally together, even fighting outside amongst themselves, but the good thing about being backed into a corner is knowing literally everyone you have on the map is working to keep it. Plus, FA and CD we’re forced to fight through each other to get to us, and that gave us the breathing room we needed to win back Sunny, then Garrison and retake our Northern Foothold in our homelands.

For the next two hours we fought hard and steady to regain Hills from FA and I believe we were even able to slip behind CD and steal back our Southwest Tower just as FA picked up the unmanned buff and it was just us vs CD.

With all our forces on our homelands united and all the doubters long gone for assumedly greener pastures like EB, we stole BB just in time to assault Bay from the East while holding off CD’s reinforcements from their own southern gate. Nothing like killing people at their own wall!

All in all it was an amazing night of fighting on both sides and even though we were dangerously close to losing it all, we held on, fought back, and became the first Homeland to regain our entire map that night. I hope those of you from CD and FA had as much fun as I did.

To those of you who showed up to TCBL and complained and doubted in team and map, then left shamefully for easier ground, you really missed out. I can only assume you are a recent transfer and don’t know we do take protecting our homeland very seriously… but when its you vs both sides, with very little siege, supplies and not a single upgrade, you are likely to lose alot before you can gain a little. It takes good leadership and cool heads to not give up before you even started. I’m pretty sure anyone from CD or FA that enjoys defending their own homeland on reset knows exactly what I’m talking about.

I know this match is hardly decided and I can’t wait to jump in for more, cya tonight!

Shoutout to the warrior in CDBL that I dueled with. It was an awesome six-seven minute fight. I was the elementalist with the sexy red hair. We should fight again sometimes.
