12/7 - TC vs. FA vs. CD
Happy Tree of w0t0 [w0t0] -Crystal Desert-
I think I’m going to follow Nyari Cil’s advice. I even find myself repeating the same explanations over and over. Pretty fruitless.
See ya guys in the battlefield. I’ll be the noob who can’t seem to play on the same toon for more than one evening!

To FA: As one of the commanders I continually preached that we can’t fight FA, we need to focus TC. However that went out the window when for two days straight FA maintained a strong presence in our borderlands.
But I also wonder if this came from retaliation of CD’s strong presence in our (FA) EB area, and not so much in the TC area. Maybe a sort-of chicken/egg situation.

TC player here. I’ve bumped into [PRO] quite a bit over the past few weeks and honestly I feel like you guys are a mixed bag. Half of you are really cool to face off against and are willing to let passives be passives, while some of you guys are relatively tunnel-visioned when it comes to getting kills.
When I come up against you guys, I have one of three experiences. Either I come up against your better, more experienced players and I rightfully get my kitten thrashed; or I come up with your less experienced players and I win soundly; or I come up against someone (or a group) in between and have a great back-and-forth skirmish.
I wrote about this a few days ago. I bumped into 2-3 of you guys while trying to get a vista in your borderland, and I made it a point to /bow and /wave while shrugging off their attacks. After a minute or two of me not going down and not hitting them, someone noticed what was going on and two of you guys disengaged and let me be. The third guy was under level 80 and continued to whale on me for negligible damage — I was only annoyed because he was crippling me and causing me to fall.
I think this is a good thumbnail example of your guild. I was working hard to keep myself up against your level 80 players (and at one point almost downed), but they were polite enough and experienced enough to realize what I was going after. However, your less experienced player would have gotten himself obliterated had I been making a point not to fight back.
I’m not trying to be condescending (because apparently giving constructive feedback and encouragement is such) with this post, but rather trying to share my experience from the other side. If you are serious about getting your guilds to work better in tandem, then take a look at your recruits (or players on troll-alts) first. I have no idea what your guild is like outside of playing against you in WvW, but if you’re not doing it right now a good starting point would be some sort of buddy system or training system where a new player would learn from or apprentice with your better players and commanders.
I really and sincerely want you guys to do well against us, and only part of that can be attributed to your server being a familiar and comforting enemy at this point. I’m only a mediocre player from a small guild — I shouldn’t be able to massacre or potentially massacre players from a guild like [PRO]. It should be the other way around, and I am more than ready to admit to that.
The one non-80 vista example is just the most recent one, not the only one. There has been more than one occasion where I’ve been able to pull [PRO] players away from zergs or away from sieges/strategic locations just by making a big splash and then running away. It’s really funny from my end when that happens and when I kite 2-3 people across the zone, but from a “we want every player and every server to get better” perspective, you need to stamp that out.
ty for your feedback.
yeah, we’ve got a lot new players that still need some training and i agree with u. i don’t chase…if i was low level and wanted to get kills, id place myself on a superior arrowcart, wait for the golemrush and collect the badges after…
PRO doesn’t have a zergmentality, and also most of the players are pretty tough to kill in a duel…(hope u never run into our D/D elementalist commander…) We are still a growing guild and will continue to improve.
and yes we appreciate your feedback

Conversely, none of you know what TC players are like.
Since you are responding to my comment, I have never said anything of the sort. In fact, in a post I made subsequently to what you’re responding to, I said not to make sweeping generalizations of any entire server.

Sorry, ignore my post. I tend to run through each new post when I check the matchup thread and respond one-by-one. You’re one of the more reasonable posters lol.

I write this as a disgruntled member of Fort Aspenwood and the guild [PRO]:
The past few weeks became increasingly irritating because Yak’s Bend was repeatedly choosing to fight us rather than TC. All this served to do was secure victory for TC and incite our retaliation. With them being dropped a tier and CD being bumped up for the week, the potential for change was there. Sadly, it appears that we’ve become the new YB. Rather than attempting to challenge TC, we instead have chosen another week of futility.
The most disturbing part however isn’t the result, but rather the cause. YB simply refused to play ball with us and instead undermined every attempt we made to hit TC.
This is in fact utter kitten, from the YB POV the opposite was happening. When you first came up into T3 in the BL I was in we tried to leave you alone but you wouldn’t co-operate. This culminated in last weeks matchup where whenever you saw us going against TC you chose to try and take advantage of us rather than use it to try and bring down TC.
As was said in the thread last week if sides attack your borderlands rather than TCs its because your defence is poor compared to TC not because they’re deliberately going out of their way to undermine FA.

Talking about alliances is pointless. There’s no way to actually regulate it or even control your own members from ignoring it. If you throw your entire focus onto one or two maps, some jerk is going to see a lack of defense and take his guild in for a capping spree against his allies because it might get them out of the third place slot.
The third placer is never in direct competition with the first placer, he’s just helping the second placer advance while they remain firmly in third. No one wants to be in third place. So third and second fight while first maintains. It’s an imperfect system. Part of it is the players, part of it is the way the game is set up.
Okay CDs, GJ on taking TCG and Bay, but know this, we won’t let it down and will pay you guys back for it.

I doubt this would ever happen, but my suggestion to anet would be to neutralize two servers so they could not attack each other IF the third server gains X% (75%?) of the globe.

That strikes me as being too ham-fisted, but it’s on an interesting idea track.
Having certain incentives trigger under certain conditions might spice things up and promote more of a “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” type of mindset?

People are always trying to encourage alliances (although it is rarely successful) against the dominant server. So would certainly help with that and keep the weaker servers from getting to cornered.
You could even change the mechanic so that the two weaker servers see each other in an orange or yellow shade instead of red, and reduce damage to each other by 50% > which would encourage a temp alliance until the weaker servers can regain a decent footing on the map.

I am honestly starting to think this whole GODS vs BLNT drama is all a farce to hurt TC xD.
Seriously the BLNT group that likes to pop onto borderlands with 5 tags on, barely talk to commanders from other guilds, make quite idiotic strategic calls and then pretend they knew what they were doing all along…
Get your act together. Also don’t put on your icon and just run around with another commander without doing anything productive to the overall strategy.
I mean asking people to run ‘imaginary upgrades’ on a fully upgraded SM while we are being Sieged, genius. Just one of many instances.
[VoTF] www.votf.net
Let’s not bring this up GODS/BLNT again. It chewed up 4 pages in the last thread. :p
Instead, ‘talk’ to the BLNT folks in game, in whispers, politely. ‘Most’ people ‘want’ to do right by their server, and will listen to advice and try to improve. Some will not. If they don’t, you can rest assured that the regulars on any map will recognise their failings and the folks in question will slowly learn that nobody is listening to them anyway beyond their own guild/friends.
Every server has a plethora of icon commanders who are average at best. Then they have a few that are terrible, and a few that are very good. The regulars on any map are well aware of which icons fit into which categories.
Calling out one guild, or one individual from said guild, when ‘most’ guilds and ‘most’ individuals have massive room for improvement is divisive rather than helpful.
‘Everyone’ can improve. What I know now, compared to what I knew 3 months ago? Night and day!
I wholeheartedly agree that icons who don’t communicate shouldn’t turn the icon on in the first place. Nor should there every be giant groups of 4 or 5 icons running around together. Or 10 on a map at once. Nor should anyone be running around with their icon on 24/7. The best way to combat that behaviour is to point it out in game, politely, and discreetly. Should people choose not to heed advice (and not all advice is necessarily sound), as I mentioned above, it doesn’t take long for the regular WvW community to notice and certain individuals to gain less than stellar reputations.
Tigger, and the rest of the BLNT folks (I only named you, Tigger, because yours is the only name I remember offhand) – you’re welcome to chat with me any time in game in so far as improving your strategies in EB. I’ve chatted in whispers with a few of your non icon folk, and I appreciate those of you who hang around Golanta etc and defend.
~Nyari Cil, Queen of EB
It’s not even that they run around with multiple tags without communicating their plans that bothers me, it is their condescending attitude. Basically one commander from that guild (who I won’t name) basically told every pug player on the map that they were not worthy of respect…
Map chat person: “Respect is earned (paraphrased)”
Commander:. “I don’t need to prove myself to you people.”
Map Chat Person: “YOU People?”
Commander: “Pugs.”
Don’t take that as an exact quote, it was later in the evening yesterday and I didn’t screenshot it or anything.
Point being, if you have a commander icon, communicate in map chat so that these stupid quarrels can be avoided. Even if all you say is something like “running a guild op, don’t come to my icon” is loads better than running around leaving everybody else in the dark. Furthermore, don’t down on the Pugs, as that is just poor attitude no matter the situation. It reeks of elitism and arrogance.

Always good to fallow your own advice I find.
Let me start of by saying TC is as big as it was 4 weeks ago and their ability to cover 2 maps is not matched in this tier.
To FA: As one of the commanders I continually preached that we can’t fight FA, we need to focus TC. However that went out the window when for two days straight FA maintained a strong presence in our borderlands. While some people seem to be able to focus on the larger objective, the overall zerg is focused on “easier” points, so they attack us. We have to respond in kind.
If we continually see GODS and PRO pushing TC BL I’m sure most of us will get the hint.
As for CD, keep the fight going. 18k point differential is not big, we still have a chance to keep TC in our sights. As a competitive person, I want to keep TC back in t3 because if we don’t, it means they owned us. As a strategist, I’ve seen IoJ in tier 2 … none of us want to see them YET. (this includes YB).
Bring on the fight and above all please remember it’s a game, have fun.
We saw IoJ every week when we were in T2 before that huge shift of players from the old T1 servers, to the current ones. I can’t remember if we were beating them or getting our kitten kicked though.

I have personally had fun knocking down the walls over and over and over again while CD had SM, was kinda funny watching you guys fix it 100 times and then we would just knock it down again.
Think this went on for a few hours. Then you tried to set up a treb on the hill across from Overlook, we knocked that down, so then some brave folks decided to rush us at Overlook, and we sent you away.
Then TC took SM from us, and well I tried the whole knock the walls down approach, that went on for an hour before TC decided enough was enough and set up 2 trebs, killed our 3 and then rushed us like… 3 times.
Oh and to that perma stealth TC Thief who stayed behind in the outer walls after the attack was over and tried to rescue his girl friend mes that died up on our wall. lol, it only costs a few silver to fix her gear. And why did she portal back in after you saved her and she got down the other side? She wasn’t gonna get away. :p Pretty much wasted your time. Think she gave up after we set traps all over her body and camped her xD
Good times

TC undeniably has more population than either CD or FA. A glance at the server select screen, where TC is the only non tier 1/2 server listed as ‘Full’ is enough to confirm this.
That’s quite different from saying that ALL they do is run around in massive zergs. Every server that can scrape enough people together fields massive zergs whenever it can
don’t forget, though, TC is the NA unofficial RP server as well. while the overall server population may be full or high, there are a lot of people who have no intention of entering WvW whatsoever. there are three highly populated taverns in divitny’s reach alone, and then there are the other cities to take into consideration, as well as the entire rest of the PvE map. factor in PvE-centric players on top of it who are running dungeons and FotM, and the available number in WvW is left at just a small percentage. if the bulk of these people were doing WvW as well, then overall server population numbers might be an accurate way to judge, but at the moment, it isn’t.

I have to say, from our perspective on TC, it would be nice to see you two fighting each other a little more. However, this has been quite an enjoyable match so far.
I’d like to move up to tier 2 next week, although we probably won’t be able to stay up there. Fighting FA is getting a bit stale, and I’m sure they would agree. It would do us a bit of good to have a change of scenery if only for a week.
I also can’t wait to see when you guys finally turn on each other if it starts to look like Yak’s Bend might move back up into 9th.

A shout-out to Beyond Limits [BL] from FA with whom we established a spontaneous duel-match in the EB jumping puzzle, to which several others joined in. That was a lot of fun! I really wish there was an area in the game that allowed for such cross-server matches to happen regularly and safely.

The queue to get into the Busted Flagon can get insane! But I know someone. :p
TC is a PvE server by nature.
I guess that makes our WvW people even more committed. And a little light RP in showing sacrifice for the Coast or to those Golem Gods can go a long way…

When’s the last time you’ve been to tier 2, like two months ago, maybe longer? The problem is that TC can’t muster up enough points to make it to tier 2, but has way more than enough people to dominate tier 3. So the server sets right where it is, neither going up or down. In fact, your overall score is going down this week, while CD and FA are actually going up. Which basically means you’ll just stay where you are, never advancing or rising in the tiers, bullying the lesser populated servers with your numbers.
http://mos.millenium.org/matchups#NA
From our prospective on CD, we would LOVE for ya’ll go to tier 2. I can’t think of a better week in WvW than against Yak and FA. At least we could have a good match where all three servers actually have even numbers.
There’s an (almost) flawed logic in the idea of FA and CD having an alliance to beat TC. Suppose that FA and CD do cooperate to the extent that all three servers have the same score. At that point each server will then have to fight both others for their own interests, and then things will go back to their usual form, that is, TC will win because they have better coverage. I say ‘almost’ because the only way you could make this work is if you managed to maintain similar scores until the last few hours of the match. It would then be like one of those cycle races where they ride for hundreds of kilometres and then decide the race with a sprint.
Whatever happens, it looks like you are all going to have a long time to figure it out. In the absence of any large changes in population, the tiers are now consolidating the status quo, with the gaps in rankings between 3rd place incumbents and 1st place contenders widening.
As has been pointed out in prior match threads, you will never see FA/YB/CD unless there is a precipitous shift in the numbers of the servers of IoJ or TC.
This is because, should TC manage to rise to 6th, that would mean IoJ drops to 7th – and I suspect all in tier 3 would find IoJ an even more dominant opponent than TC.
Additionally, YB is currently involved in what looks like a decent match with Ehmry Bay and Maguuma, with a differential loss of -50.
Ergo, just as YB/FA/TC spent some time together, you can now expect TC/FA/CD for a few weeks, short of calamity.
The upside for FA and CD is that TC’s numbers will take a larger hit than your own during the new event which starts at the same time as next week’s match. All our servers will be playing at a lower capacity. And then Xmas kicks in, and holidays, and so forth. Dec 14th – Jan 3rd will offer 3 weeks of relative unpredictability. Those weeks may not be indicative of the strength or skill of any of our servers, but outside forces will result in WvW fluctuations.
Some good fun in EB this morning during CD’s dominant period. With FA wiped off the map CD tried a variety of strategies to take SM and TC’s territory, having flipped Klovan some time overnight before I logged in. The golem rushes on SM were exciting, and I commend CD for trying to use OL to treb SM too, having stolen it away from FA.
EB was a blast this morning. My little Asura ele was all over the place helping defend, attack, repair, etc. I believe those golem attacks were the most fun I’ve had in Wv3 to date. Thanks CD for the fun.

I was there in EB for a while last night (earlier this morning for you NA folks) during the golem rush by CD. Was quite fun seeing all those golems go down before reaching inner gates while my mesmer kept throwing clones at each of them to do my job. Later someone asked for a focus elementalist to protect a wall from your treb fire. I decided to login with mine which I didn’t quite touch since the last 3 months. Had lots of fun throwing around your zerg with my tornado. Eventually you guys took me down at one point and I had to hit the bed, so I left. Fun fights, thanks CD!
Again 2hrs ago I logged back in and saw half the TCBL under attacks/taken by CD/freshly recapped by TC (TC garrison). Was quite disheartening to see that, but again, good fights at Hills keep with FA zergs on both sides, and at Redlake. If you see a blue sylvari staff elementalist who doesn’t mind running into you in tornado mode, that’s me. Great fights, lots of fun!
As already been warned by mods, let’s keep this thread civil and deal with our grudges in-game :P
P.S: Again, WTH is wrong with Sunnyhill tower!? Yesterday I mentioned one enemy player walking through the same gate and fighting and dieing there, and then the NPC. Earlier I noticed that the gate itself is totally see-through, as in, its there but it looks like it isn’t! Is it still the same? I even saw one of our players walk through that area like its platform 9 3/4 from Harry Potter but when I tried to, I couldn’t and had to go through green gate portal. Maybe I lost the magic ticket!

Hi Guys/ladies
I am Commander Hugable [EsF] Oceanic Primetime GMT+8
Season greetings & Good Morning/Evening To All
/Salute to all FA/TC/CD players in WvW
Last night Oceanic Time was a fun night for our guild as a whole, it was not a guild run as it was a monday night for us. This was what happen I was in EB intend on doing on JP however in map we have lost QL and Danelon to TC and Durios, woods and bravost to FA. Honestly I was stunned at the number FA field and invade into our border so well and coordinate. EsF target this week was to focus on TC to reduce points and to hold open field skirmish at rouge or golanta or at the TC BL coz TC are excellent defenders when rally and EsF give TC some heart attack when EsF attacking certain areas :P
EsF rally in numbers to defend our keep and FA pull a stunt on me as I was expecting an treb attack from either bravost or ruin tower until i realise that FA was pulling a fast water gate atk when i send out scouts to find where FA went and boy that was some mean attack from FA, I send out waves of kamizkaze troops from our waypoint to try to take out the rams and our supply in the keep was dropping so fast…… but we managed to held on till our comrade from CD BL came over to assist
Thanks to Commander Lean/Hammie/Sibesian/Titanwar/Terrastorm and a few other I missed out.
That done, I rally about 6 parties of EsF with other guild and we proceed to retake bravost, wood supply, orge camp and camp ourselves at pangloss rise supply for a full hour, building up sieges to defend and to engage FA at their side of the border when other commander take out other targets of opportunity. Kudos to you FA guys for repeatly attacking that supply depot and not giving up but the last straw came when Orge Tower was captured and we EsF having defend pangloss push to attack slope tower and took it but FA have forgetten TC and allow TC to ninja your keep which we later attack and cap it from TC. All i can say I salute the daring attack of TC ninjas and the resilent defending of FA.
Once FA border was capped, EsF proceed to engage TC at their own backdoor and to draw attention to EsF which I believe you must have thief trailing us and TC counter us with a larger force but EsF have fun fighting you guys in open field at golanta and as we were engaging TC, the other CD commander pull a fast one on smc outer wall but TC you guys rally fast and hard EsF held the breach gate for a while and decided to dummy your keep in the hope that TC will come after EsF allowing our second waves of golems into the inner wall. EsF even dummy on TC SMC north gate outer to 50% and you TC guys rally . TC defender last night are a worthy oppnent and I salute you for the fun we have.
All I can say thank you both FA/TC for the fun wvw last night and thank you CD players to rally to defend our EB borders. Let the tread be clean and fun.
Ps. 1) Please stop aiming me can I am not a juicy commander :P
2) Taking tonight off to farm TA/Fotm Lvl 3
I don’t speak for the entire TC server but I know the general concensus for the guild I am in, which plays a HUGE part in WvW btw, plans on taking it easy until after the Wintersday event ends.
That way when we move to tier 2, we will actually be playing lol.
So TC may not be the dominate server for a couple weeks.
Good luck!

It’s nice fighting TC again. Adds flavour to the fight and make each victory ever more delicious =)
Kudos to FA for trying our water gate. Yes I’m one of the 5-8 people constantly waving from our spawn to hit you guys from the side. Just surprised that it took you guys quite a bit before re-org to anticipate the next wave. We managed about 7x meteor showers on your rams and into the centre mass of your zerg before you guys decided to pull out.
Was also impressed by the attempts at coordinated attacks in Pangloss Rise. Swarming in from both sides. But imho, such a choke is not worth fighting for and more attention should be placed on the bigger targets such a defending your main keep from ninjas!!! (*stares at TC *)
Also, the 3 way push by both FA and TC on SMC a few days back…
FA from north and TC from South and West
Real fishy there
As for TC, you guys live up to my expectations on your QRF. Always ready to defend against wherever the attack is coming from. Very very impressed by the response time and the size you guys field to respond. What puzzled me was when your guys spotted FA attacking our water gate, there was no TC to clean house when FA is done. FA drained all our supply and broke through but we held strong against the onslaught.
A major disappointment was when we fielded 14 golems. Yes 14. Took down SMC gate in 1 minute but lost it all in 2nd gate due to lack of support. We had the right idea but as it got late and people started…. vanishing.
All in all good fight for the week ahead and thank you for the wonderful fights you guys gave us.

Killerlitter and Hugable:
Thank you for your posts! It is ‘great’ to see perspectives on EB from the other side of the fence. You guys kept us busy for hours on end. The 14 golems in the morning were something we had to respond ‘very’ swiftly to, and the cats on the eastern wall by EsF was another such situation.
And yes, Hugable, we had someone following you around. EsF is sneaky Needs to be watched ^^

Being underestimated is the best thing about being on TC. As long as people continue to write paragraph upon paragraph of well-written forum posts about our supposed “zerg” strategy, we will continue to be underestimated.
TC does have great guilds. We have great, skillful players. We work together and we don’t give up. If you think our strategy is as simple as sending a massive zerg to the hotspot then you are sadly mistaken.
You definitely deserve more credit than that. You’ve got really fast response times and a good network of people constantly watching your front lines while the main forces are absent to fight elsewhere.
PiNK is the guild I specifically recognize as the strongest contributors to that, even though it seems much of the system is composed of other guilds. If I understand correctly they serve as the middle man that actually gets so many people connected and cooperating to actiely work on these tasks instead of the kinds of karma train behaviors I’ve seen in other weeks of WvW that I would say actually deserve to be called mindless zerging.
Not sure if some other guild is intricately involved in this system but I’d be happy to see some of our commanders with this kind of control over our zergs. I think a server that combined with with some of the key strengths of certain guilds in CD (must-resist-gloating) could really carve out a place in tier two- and not the diminished numbers type it apparently is now but tier two the way it was when CD began it’s decline all those weeks ago. I don’t know how tier one actually was back then so I can’t comment on the viability of said hypothetical server.

Little bit of advice though- apparently a lot of GW2 players have a 12 year old mentality so if you deny being a mindless zerg they’ll label you as one specifically because they think the term bothers you. It became our title for the long tier 3 matchup against maguma and completely forgettable server.
By the end of those weeks we became it just because we didn’t have to try any harder than that to get 1st place and the other two servers had switched to hardcore turtle mode the prior week.
So FA . . . I see that CD has wiped you off the face of Eternal Battlegrounds. How is that supposed alliance working out for you?
So far as I know we never established an alliance.
Timeline from CD perspective:
10-11pm we take bluebriar and the nearby camps from a very persistent skeleton crew. TC draws numerous defenders to keep us away from the keep and pressure our supply camps.
11pm-2am FA sees a greatly reduced TC presence on borderlands and takes supply camps up that side of the map away from where TC and CD are fighting. They capture several towers while the bulk of TC forces are now leading large pushes into bluevale to down our trebuchets, apparently because the four elementalists are getting bored blocking 90% of the shots. The bay is low on supply though so fussy players that don’t want to keep running supply from camps and fortification stockpiles likely have some incentive to stop the trebs.
2-3am TC diverts their forces to reclaim land from FA, pushing them out of the map, but lose their elementalist shield as CD forces are now able to wash over that section of the wall. To make up for the trebuchet damage TC puts forth a large supply train effort.
3-5am TC can finally again focus their efforts and manage to remove the trebuchets as well as pressuring locations on other maps, but both servers are up past their bedtime so activity dwindles. I go to bed.
5am to ? FA takes a lot of land during a poorly planned CD attack on TC, CD retaliates until maybe noon.
*I tried to keep these close to server time but I bet I’ve got details out of order all over the place :P
My my my look at TC invading CD and FA borderlands.
Looks over at TC boarderlands . . . oh, that’s why you DONT DO THAT!

I think the term “mindless” is pushin it too far, atleast from TC perspective. Sure a lot of our pugs can be just following orders and run after the blue dorito, but many also keep constantly checking the map to see if any crucial point is under attack, we even watch when yaks are being ganked on their way so we know the proximity of enemies. Many relay these info to commanders on the spot and we immediately divert our forces based on priorities. We have many PvE’ers who want to try out W3 and run around to get a taste of capturing points, etc. If a zerg is automatically “mindless” we can agree that they exist on all servers. I wouldn’t call [ULTD] a mindless zerg, although I’ve seen them field a lot of numbers in their zergs compared to us on a BL, or someone like [KH] from CD who also field quite a lot of numbers. These 2 guilds come to my mind on both servers immediately when we talk about the term “zergs”, and nobody on TC can call them mindless for sure, since we’ve been rolled over by them and also wiped them off our map at times. We know it takes a lot of coordinated effort from all the players in that “zerg” and a mindless one at that can easily be defeated if half of the zerg doesn’t know what they are doing.
Regarding an alliance, while most of TC would like a challenge, as myself and many others have previously posted, its quite difficult to maintain for more than a half day. None of our 3 servers have any internal formal alliances and not many players visit the forums. If any alliance between 2 servers has been proposed and even agreed upon, it takes only a smaller guild or a group of 4-5 pugs to invade an ally’s BL and take a camp. That’s enough to destroy the whole alliance thing. It might work in top tier servers where every server has some sort of “Alliance” internally and all players are properly communicated to, regarding which enemy to target, and whom to treat as an ally. In our tier, I don’t think it would actually work, unless both servers maintain patience for a couple of days to forgive ally’s mistakes and target the common enemy. Unfortunately, by then, your ally might actually take advantage and push far ahead of you in terms of points which again might cause trust issues between each other. While Anet intended such alliances to happen, its nearly impossible in reality(not completely, but almost).

Okay third place.

EB was home to some good times tonight. Impromptu skirmishes between small groups are easily my favorite thing about GW2, and several of them seemed to happen. Of course a large majority of the fighting seemed to be inconsequential back and forth along some road/near SMC, but even then it provided a nice pool of players in which I could practice my dive.
Cheers, folks.

I don’t think there actually is a formal alliance, Derv. Are you sure it’s not all in your head? ._.
I mean, you were bashing your ahead against TCBL for at least 3hrs before you managed to take something besides a camp.

That something happened to be a fully upgraded Hills keep >_> I’d say 3 hours is worth it, lol
I was talking about Redlake but I guess Hills counts too. Don’t get comfy.
