I’ve seen a lot of people mention this “militia” thing before. Is that just a bunch of people in the same place who aren’t in the same guild? Because that’s just Maguuma.

Even tier 3 cant stop the nightcap.

Pretty sad though we’re getting a reset this week. Tier 2 didnt even seem that far away. (Not bragging, just some unbiased observations looking at the scores in asian hours.)

Yeah, NA guilds backup our Oceanic guys until upgrades go through, at least. Likewise, many Oceanic guilds wake up early to help with upgrades getting set too. Reset is an event on this server, lol.

Now I’m going to try and get a nap started before 8 am rolls around.

After RISE +13hours of WvW since reset evening.. [RISE] had a blast in Dragonbrand borderland with [CO] putting up +10 golems and rallied to garisson.. it was FUN!!!!! thanks DB for the back to back Zerg V Zerg!!!

Lies! Mag has no oceanic presence. Just 4 or 5 US players that don’t sleep.

This is far from over. But I’m hating the thought of a possible outcome.

“If” Kain ends up winning by 200k+ it’s going to knock the other servers that obviously deserve to be in T3+ back to the stone ages next week. It would also mean Kain would get bumped up to T1 to fight against lower tier servers that will likely get bumped up there.

In both cases the servers currently in T3 will absolutely dominate next weeks matchups. In fact, beyond these 3 servers there will be a lot of stacked matchups over the next few weeks thanks to the reset. It’s going to be much worse that it’s been over the last few weeks that just a couple servers were dominating on their rise up the tiers.

Unless they limit the amount of places a server can go up/down the rankings, every tier is going to be a mess for more than a month.

And so the Kaineng legacy continues. That’s the scores I was waiting to see!

No way everything will be fine! Anvil Rock is looking forward to a rematch with Kain Next week in T2!! Sure we are tier 6 this week but surely barely beating(if we win at all) against other tier 6 servers is reason enough to launch us to tier 2.

Of course Darkhaven is tier 7 and will be there with us to stop the mighty Kain! So what could possibly go wrong…

When they announced the server resets I wasn’t sure what the big deal was, now I see. At least the other way only like half the match ups were messed up. Next week every single one could be a blow out.

legacy implies something that is something transmitted by or received from an ancestor or predecessor or from past. Since Kaineng is one of the servers T1 guilds transfered down to too dominate it really can not be called a legacy..Just being nitpicky:p

And the excuses started a long slide to the eventual thread lock.. glad i was here to see it.

While it looks like Kaineng will end up winning the matchup because our oceanic crew has the numbers advantage, I expect this week will see a TON of back and forth fighting during the day. Win or lose I hope everyone remembers to have some fun. I’ve even managed to get a few 1v1 fights and was proud of how well my little ranger did.

I’d just like to point out that this match is far from over. Those on Maguuma and Dragonbrand that have been around for awhile should remember the matchup of Yaks Bend, Maguuma 1.0, and Dragonbrand 2.0. Though Dragonbrand consistently racked up around 10,000 points from nightcapping and put their opposition into a deep point hole, yaks and maguuma hit them hard during every day, erased the maps full of red, overcame that point lead, and set them as far back as possible before the next night came around. Maguuma eventually went on to win that match. The point is that nightcapping doesn’t win you a game as long as the other two servers don’t give up and play strategically.

That may be true, but if Kaineng sits at 500+ ppt for 8 hours+ every night….well let’s just say your 200-300 ppt for the rest of the 16 hours (if you even have that coverage) won’t matter much.

AND another point, this is reset weekend! All servers are staying up later and fighting longer and harder. Just wait until the week days come. That is where the holes in coverage really become problems. You won’t be able to have your 20+ NA players staying up til 5AM holding keeps/towers.

I don’t know about you guys but I was up til 4:30am and the fights were fantastic. Glad I don’t have to do anything today

Holy kitten queues! I think I waited 1.5 hours to make it into DB BL last night. When I finally got in I found one KN group with like 20 or so and 3 commanders in the same group. I thought, wtf, 3 commanders! Then I realized that group was probably all there was, everyone else was in the queue! So I queued for 3 other maps but never got in. I finally gave up and kitten logged off. So we finally get to a truly competitive tier and we can’t kitten get in the fight! Come on Anet, get your kitten together please!!! We usually have queues but last night was epic. Having said that, there were some good fights while I was there, but we were definitely outnumbered.

And what’s with next week!? Why Anet decided it was a good idea to scramble the tiers so kitten badly next week is beyond me. Sorrows Furnace moves up 20 spots to T1?? Dark Haven plays BG and KN!? If I were on DH why the kitten would I bother logging into that match? Maybe I am missing something but I really don’t get the point.

Oh and you know…they wouldn’t try and take each other’s stuff, just our last towers. It was pretty cool.

Reset was crazy frustrating and fun all at the same time, its been a while since most of us have had a decent fight to show us where we needed to improve. At the same time tho, i cant help reading “but not quoting” the maguuma guy saying they shouldnt have been able to hold the garrison for 8+ hours under the pressure they were under, i think that discredits the people you had in there and their abilities more than it says anything about ours or DBs. Your defensive crew did everything right from what i could tell about holding their position in that lords room. It was a fun fight all the way around i had work in the morning and couldnt stay for the end of it, it was a true 3 way battle like it should be. The queue bug really hurt our numbers but we gave everything and everyone we had in our map to break that iron grip you guys had on garrison. What you saw at garrison was in fact our total numbers across the entire map. If it was not for the constant 3 way either DB or us(kain) would have probably capped long before the 8 hour mark but that is the nature of true WvW. I am looking forward to getting home and rejoining the fight(assuming i can make it through the bugged queue). Short shout out to WE, been a while since we were together, seems u guys are doing well with DBs NA crew, we’re all still working on improving current Kain NA crews coordination, im looking forward to more battles vs you guys this week.

I’m glad they were sticking to their respective “side” in KBL map. From a strategic stand point if I were commanding in someone’s BL map I would not waste my time trying to take all the south positions if it’s much easier to take the west/east positions. For us (Kain) to accuse the other servers of “teaming” up is just rubbish. I hope you all smarten up because I’m sure we are doing it right back to them in their own BL.

Although this is something the server hasn’t seen because we haven’t fought large enough numbers yet I hope we all learned something from it as I’m sure its not going to change anytime soon (or… ever…)

Keep up the fight Kaineng in NA Prime Time! We may not be perfect but Kaineng’s are very quick learners

Thanks DB/Mag for the fun fights. hopefully Kaineng can finally gain a little bit respect as a competitive server now that we aren’t just karma training 24/7. Although getting respect seems like a stretch in WvW

Whiner of RE … this is the upper tiers, it starts in tier 4 when you aren’t playing dead servers and continues to get worse as you move up. All maps will usually field all 3 teams. I understand you are new to the upper tiers now that you found a good zerg server to hop onto but you’ll get the hint after a few weeks, nothing out of the ordinary going on here.

Way to keep the thread classy Fiction, try not to make comments like those, kains been fairly good in the previous matchups about not getting a thread locked till late in the week or even at all. I really do not understand all the hate, kains here, we do exist, and yes we need a spanking so I’m looking forward to more wait….. I mean oh well yes bring on the spankings.

I think its a strategic mistake to attack that east tower when you own the west tower instead of putting increased pressure on garrison. garrison is weakest on the west side, let red team attack the east side all they want, focus on keeping your north camp and west tower while building trebs to knock down garrisons walls.

All you were doing by retaking east tower was making yourself a target for dragonbrand, wasting time, manpower, and supply to do it.

Yeah, only Kain is complaing about bugged queues…

Not that I think that counts as proof. But it would be nice if Anet let us see our position in the queue to help know if it’s at least moving. That would go a long way towards getting rid of that sort of complaint, I think.

If you’re talking about the garrison on kain BL after reset, the walls were down on both sides for several hours, it was the lords room that was the biggest issue, it really was an ongoing and long 3 way fight in there. Rezzed up mags would run back to garrison while kain and DB fought each other out of the circle for control to fix the inner gates then push out those of us left inside, was a remarkable effort.
Just reread ur comment and remembered what screenshot you were looking at Draygo, in that screenshot we werent attacking east tower, we were in it, and lost it to 6 trebs. So that explains that screenshot. we held both towers for a long time we ended up giving the east one up to do like u said, put full pressure on garrison.

Its too early to claim a win isaac, I remember back on DH when a server had a 30k lead and came back to win it, now if it was 200k to 20k and 15k already at this point, then yea we’d call the match, but tbh with the matchup reset winning doesnt really matter and will not matter for a long time other than to get the tiers back where they were b4 the reset.
