Not that I think that counts as proof. But it would be nice if Anet let us see our position in the queue to help know if it’s at least moving. That would go a long way towards getting rid of that sort of complaint, I think.

So Kaineng get all their points when everyone sleeps? .. with full maps Kaineng was really weak.. I’m a little dissapointed
This is a 24 hour game with players from across the globe. Are you saying you’re disappointed with your own server’s lack of night-time coverage, or are you trying to imply that points shouldn’t count when you’re asleep?
I’m only saying that when all maps are full in all servers Kaineng is really weak.. think about it a little

They’re either botting or just terrible individual players… they only auto attack/heal, don’t interrupt stakes, never break off from the group to do objectives, and if they don’t wipe the enemy with their first push they wipe or take 15+ minutes to take a supply camp and give up and leave.
Any ground-targeted CC’s seem to wipe them pretty easily, too… static field, line of warding, ring of warding, marks, fears, anything. They just fall apart when they can’t move as a giant ball… Speaking of which, it’s incredibly surprising that they can stay so balled up especially when they’re in Korea. You’d figure that the network lag would be so variable from there that they would be unable to stay that close together without a follow command.
Just some observations.
Just one night and judging the whole server, crazy eh. Dragonbrand knows how that talk goes on though, they night capped DH for weeks in a row its not new news, nightcapping happens. Why cant we just try and enjoy this fight, the tiers are getting rocked after this, enjoy what fight you can get out of us.

Usually, I hate accusing others of botting or hacking, because it usually is caused by the accuser not being as fluent with game mechanics as the accused. However, there was some incredibly… suspicious (maybe not the best word) activity last night. Every so often we’d run into a WM zerg that stacks incredibly perfectly and moves in absolute coordination. There was no movement delay, no nothing. It was honestly like watching a flock of birds. What’s more, is that if you focused down or CCed the members at the front of the “flock”, the ones that were obviously leading the charge, the entire zerg ball stopped and died to CC/AoE.
There was such a startling dichotomy between these “zerg balls” and the legitimate WM zergs that I can’t help but think that there was something fishy going on.

Not the point. No one ever said ALL of WM was botting, just that there were a few zergs that were acting horribly suspiciously. WM had some legitimately scary-good zergs that seemed to pop up out of nowhere, and then there were the “flocks.”

May i ask what the point is in having NA/Euro/Asian servers? I mean it obviously is not to let you play with the people in your zone. If you were to follow that guideline then you would simply be capped the other 2/3 of the time when its not your zone. Why not just open up a sever list and let people choose so there is much better coverage across all zones?

From my observations, Team Legacy actually runs in a tighter pack than WM. WM players have posted movies. They aren’t botting, IMO. They are just very good at staying together on their driver.
Also, WM is a large guild. It’s going to have some bad players and some good players like any large guild.

Even then, there should be some lag in the zerg’s movement. What we witnessed last night was movement in perfect unison. There were no stragglers in the movement. They also performed the same strategy both times we ran into them in Danelon. I mean identically the same strategy. Push into the camp, take too much heat, run up on the ridge behind the camp itself, die.

We took SM about 4 times last night… I don’t see your point.
The also “scrubbed back” and forth across Danelon while shooting straight ahead much like you see bots do. If you were off to the side of the zerg, they would never hit you. We held the camp with less members simply by having one person standing on the side in the circle out of their straight back and forth line. Go ahead, infract me again for character assassination.

I’ve thought that from day 1. I understand they want you local so you’re not having issues with latency, but WvW is affected greatly by 24 hour coverage. I think having regional servers for a 24 hour game is basically ignorant, but we can only work with what we’ve been given.

Skipped the kitten hugging for 6 pages. Just popping on because I wanted to shout out to mags and db, in kbbl last night, early morning. Yep, 3 way battle for 2 hours+ at garr waskittenN (bouncing back and forth from gar > db > gar) and the yak escort (when ya need supplies to gar, patrol knows no limits ). Was up to 5am last night, little addicted to the matchup, and felt it this morning. Good god it was a lot of fun. Hope everyone on other bl’s got the chance to have this excitement. That fully upgraded db, wasn’t exactly the easiest to contest either on my war … was really missing my thief, but was not intending on queuing again.
Repair gods ate well last night, couldn’t help it having to run straight into gate for contest. Keep up the good battles, and team spirit.

Split Personality Post:
There are at least two voices in my head, and I thought I would share with you guys what they’re saying.
Oh no you don’t -Oh yes I will- Seriously, shut up -No, you can’t make me-
Okay, where was I?
The Adult: Great job out there Kaineng. You have some very talented players and guilds and you’re doing a fantastic job. Especially during NA Daytime. The fights are exciting and engaging. The back and forth nature of this battle has created a dynamic game environment that promotes conflict, which is just what I like to see in Open World PvP. I can see that we’re matched up pretty well in the NA Daytime, with many good battles. There are still the Zergs running around, which can be a little daunting, but overall, it’s been a ton of fun.
The Teenager: You guys suck! Seriously, the only reason you’re so far ahead (which really isn’t by that much) is because you have dirty, stinking, no-good night crappers, who must really enjoy beating their ugly faces against virtual doors, because that’s all they do. Your night-time crew has no honor, they skulk about in the night when we sleep and take all of our stuff. How in the world can they possible enjoy that? Why don’t you Zerg monsters stay up one night (during our Daytime) and come and fight us on equal terms. Cowards.
The Adult: You have to excuse the Teenager side of me, he doesn’t really think about the implications of what he’s saying. So, I apologize for him. I really do think you guys are a stand up server that deserves nothing but respect for doing such a good job.

It is fun to see all of them saying: “Aha noob Kaineng bla bla bla this is tier 3 u cant bla bla bla”. Oh please, stop this wanna-be acting and sit down on ur chair.
Last night everyone was so happy because we were last and they kept saying “Oh please, this is tier 3 u cant give these kind of excuses”. Now that they are both behind us, they’re giving the excuses.

Our excuses are more plausible than yours, given that we never saw outmanned buff on you guys and we had it on at least two maps at midnight Pacific…which never happens. Not that I actually care, but it’s kind of sad that RE has so many angry people in it now!
Hey DB ranger that was “swooping” all over the place that I killed before he could kill our yak, then the thief that I killed (unfortunately after he killed the yak), then the ele that I killed all from EA. Then killed one of you again when you came back. Good job and thanks for laughing at me after I solo’d all of you…to fun.
I was a little surprised when I logged in last night around 10pm (est) and there were only queues on 2 maps. Only two queues 3 hours after reset is even less than 3 weeks ago. Good news IMO, though not necessarily for this matchup.
About the current match, meh. As far as points are concerned, probably doesn’t matter how well we play in the day if we’ll lose it overnight as we sleep. Guess we’ll see how it shapes up on weekdays though.
Bugged queues or not, I saw almost no organization from Kaineng last night on their BL. If you hold only 1 tower on your home map maybe its going to seem like double teaming but DB was just as big a threat there or more, and also the first ones to break into the outer garrison.
Yup, I’m quite liking the lack of queues. Still skeptical that we’ve returned to Maguuma 1.0, but ever hopeful.

So I see this is going to be one of those matches where the non-English speaking Korean players get all the points for a server, and all the English speaking players who had nothing to do with it take credit for it.
I love these matches.
I must say. The early morning Kaineng field presence was rather surprising.
I had some really great fights defending our dolyaks. I must say though. I had no idea that Engineers were so annoying to fight. Seriously. Put my condition removal to the freaking test.

The ironic part is every other server we’ve come upon when someone from any server says ‘hey, your guys might be doing this this and this’ they investigate it internally and take responsibility.

Great suggestion. Unfortunately I’ve lost count how many times this has been brought up. Time and time again. An the direction needs to be taken internally with WM. I’m sure they have a few bad apples. Most large guilds do. However, I cannot communicate to them and I haven’t even seen proof other than the opinions of anyone on this forum.

The theme that drives Kaineng threads is the NA primetime players being very bad at WvW and especially PvP. That’s usually the common issue.
Zephyrus, what time did you get in the fight last night, because it was us Kaineng, that first broke garrisons wall on cragtops side(east tower) and we also were holding sunnyhill(west tower), walls were down on both sides but with the pressure from mag on the west and db on the east we got spread to thin for the few that were allowed in. DB rolled in with 6 trebs on crag, took it, then took advantage of the walls we had down when we pushed in with our full force from the west side. We destroyed enough counter trebs facing crag to know DB wasnt the first to break the walls down. Back to the after party though, it was a crazy fight inside, for all it was a race to cap for us and a race for mag to push both servers out. This is the kinda stuff I wanna see when I get off work.

Well, seems as though I was mistaken about Kaineng not being ready for higher tiers. Well, their Oceanics are, their NA…not so much.
Either that or our oceanics were taking the night off. It does happen from time to time.
At one point, we had no commanders on any map. No commander on when Kain took our keep in EB, and it definitely didn’t feel like our oceanic presence was fully there. But, I think it was a little mix of both. Kain’s oceanics presence dominated last night. But I am hopeful our oceanics were taking the night off and we can put up more of a fight this upcoming week!

Suggest the same to Kaineng? We’re making excuses.
It’s been mentioned multiple times to the commanders that do speak English and they have posted proof they don’t bot.
What more do you want? Swing my imaginary ban hammer? Done.
I see, that must be difficult.
I will work on providing some form of proof this week. If I can get my computer set up properly, it’ll be video.
Enough forum warrioring for me until I can back it up. For the good players of Kaineng and Anet.

Every thread about Kaineng’s tiers has gone to the kittens. I wonder what’s the common denominator?
The theme that drives Kaineng threads is the NA primetime players being very bad at WvW and especially PvP. That’s usually the common issue.

NA Kaineng is really bad (And that’s not meant to say all of Kain’s NA is bad). I think DA’s NA when they were super zergy was way better.

I guess every server has their weaknesses

now I’m roleplaying as a kaineng poster (you’ll see this a lot from TC)
No, we can’t be bad and need a lot of work, because we went to bed and our 4 queue oceanic managed to win against your 15 dudes. The score is a reflection of skill, and you, sir, need to accept that Kaineng is superior!
Even though i was fighting 15 second lag spikes I still had fun fighting you. Also, it is customary to laugh every time an invisitard dies.

I agree Kaining needs to grow a lot as a server. Many of us are used to being able to run around as a 10-20 person guild only group and being able to beat anyone we come across. But we need to learn to play as a singular server and stop playing as guild-only teams or we will keep getting rolled over by huge full server zergs maguuma/dragonbrand are running around with.
Our guilds and those WvWing as small groups learning to work together as one server will take time but it can be done, and hopefully we will see improvements in this area happen over the next few weeks.
Back to this, we havent had to fight in NA primetime beyond reset night for a month now, lotta ppl got rusty and a lot never fought like we need to fight now, excuses aside, you have the right to your opinion. We may not be the best but we don’t quit when we’re backed into a corner like we were last night. Also try to remember, and I am assuming you’re on maguuma xxxzav, maguuma is prime time NA, thats when your best players come out, is it really much to say that you beat a group of NA that hasnt had a fight together(since T8 and picking up new guilds) to learn coordination to combat an existing solid core group? Kainengs T8 NA core has a lotta heart and you havent seen most of them post on here, its mostly us that have been to T4 and higher before responding. They have a lot to learn, so do we, this situation is why we did not want to go to tier 1 without hitting a brick wall of some sort to learn from.

I guess the other servers pro pvpers should just sleep during the day and just wvw at night or they fear the night crew??
Seems like some NA people just like to talk trash and dont back them up.
I been on Kaineng BL and saw a lot of scrub wvws on all servers. Just seem they want to highlight one servers bads.

Guys I made a post on page 2 or something of all the dead horse whining for you so these 5 pages of word vomit didn’t have to happen.
Kain you were schooled last night. There’s no argument there. Learn from it, it is actually a good thing. I experienced shady queue problems as well and trust me, that was not why we were struggling. Also some of your forum gloating is giving me the sads. And others are still taking flame bait that should know better. Don’t be that guy I start to pretend I’m not associated with, Kaineng.

Thing is, everyone wants to highlight Kainengs bads, it’s the same story in every one of our threads, I should have screenshot all the times I’ve seen other servers roll in and get crushed by equal numbers or less but then that would be blasphemy, I’d be trolled off the forums if I had posted any. Every server has their bad wvw players, labeling the entire servers NA group when you yourself have only most likely faced a portion of them is an unfair statement after day one. If you still think all of kains NA are bads then so be it, we’ll be seperated next week regardless of the score anyways.
