I figured the thread would be as such reviewing the FA one last week. Kinda easy to see the pattern, but it’s all fun, and I rather enjoy the jabs. Otherwise I wouldn’t have been the solo contesting SH for the hour. Was it noticed, yeah … admitting it or not, I got my dues from the EA crew.

But a job’s a job. Mag’s … I really enjoy the vent chat you give our group. “Okay guys, let’s go up to the third floor gar, mag’s left… only db and us. ….. Looky looky mag’s back up to on top clearing house, hold on don’t res… just watching them… yep the ran out again, okay new plan…”

In any event, there ‘are’ a lot of fun battles ongoing, so props out to both servers. Whether it’s a camp fight, a random ninja strike, or whatever… enjoying the battlefield very much.

db is one of my favorite servers to fight against, even though I think I’ve only been apart of beating them once in that yb/db/mag christmas match up.

I think I heard something about a chinese new year or something. Its nice to have a thread and it isn’t all about our asian crew carrying us through a match. Reset was outstanding for DB and then after that we all know what happened now.

Ugh, ok so people think Kain doesn’t communicate, we don’t talk to non-guildies, we have bad players throughout our server and can’t wvw for crap?

1. Watch my vid, see kain communicate and crush a superior zerg from flanking. ( most talking done on TS )
2. Kain has only recently moved up through the rankings and is learning.
3. Shaka, we weren’t “Schooled” on reset. In anyone’s defense it is hella hard to defend two zerging servers in your own BL, which hats off to DB did very well on reset at Garrison.
4. The week will play out, then we can see the real strengths and weaknesses of each server.

I know how WvW works on reset, I’m not new to that. It was a comment regarding what Shaka said. And if I’m not mistaken I actually complimented another server on their efforts.

From the reports I’ve heard about last night, our oceanics/aisans didn’t really show up (or if they did, very few. Apparently no commanders for a bit). Hopefully that will change tonight. There is still time to adapt to Kaineng’s force and beat them.

Do I think we will beat them? Not without a lot of work, but I think it’s possible.

As he stated, he wasn’t complaining about his BL being hit by 2 servers. He was stating a valid fact that it is MUCH harder to defend your home BL from 2 fighting servers rather than attacking an enemy BL. And that is a very true statement indeed.

Also, being psyched that you reached 320 ppt on reset night? Cool. Impressive.

Meanwhile….the real challenge is endurance which is determined in the rest of the week….

There was literally nothing for them to take at the time. East Keep was still holding strong, as was the rest of the map.

Nah, likely they/we saw someone else to kill. No offense meant, I am sure you are more then worth downing, but we often leave folks to be downed by others and in fairness some folks will just spam #1 to death anyways even if we leave.

Every freaking week some poser posts a 1v2 crap. Do people like you and others who post this not know there are 1 Battleground for each server and same thing happens on the other 2 BG. n DB you have Mag attacking on side and Kai the other. Too many of you people have such Oh poor me complexes you actually think other two servers are not attacking other one.

You shouldn’t pretend you worked so hard to fight for your server when you barely transferred there less then 2 weeks ago after your loss to Fort Aspenwood.

I never insulted any servers just mentioned that the match up was a joke because Kaening was clearly not in the right category after the mass guild exodus that Kaening had received. The score from last week, the last time I checked it was like 450k-60k-40k. So yes that match up was a joke. And the comment was directed at Jarvan(spitfire) who switched to your server about 9-10 days ago.

This is a 24 hour game with players from across the globe. Are you saying you’re disappointed with your own server’s lack of night-time coverage, or are you trying to imply that points shouldn’t count when you’re asleep?

Eh, it’s just a bummer is all. Maguuma has always had a rather weak night crew, it’s a tad disappointing when we are able to stand toe to toe and have some great fights on reset night/during the day and then to log on at night and see us getting stomped. Honestly Maguuma is used to it and the majority of Maguuma knows there is nothing we can do about it. Just wish we could get a couple of Aussie guilds or something =).

Mag has relatively low participation on weekends after reset. It also feels like one of those weeks where people are recouping and awaiting the server shuffle. You’ll probably see more of us in PPT starting monday.

We can’t seem to account for the people filling up our queue. But we will hold Garrison.

I’m actually a commander from CD. And I love my server which is why my guild and i didnt bandwagon onto Kaening like the rest of the other CD guilds. I also have a lot of respect for Yaks Bend. What I don’t have respect for is people who transfer servers for wvw and pretend that they’ve been fighting for that server since the beginning when its only been 10 days. With whatever little people we had on left on CD, we found ourselves mostly fighting with our former guilds that used to be on CD. Don’t misinterpret my statements. It was purely directed at Jarvan who tried being Crystal Desert’s poster boy commander until we started losing to Fort Aspenwood.

Mag doesn’t have the numbers many of it’s opponents imagine it does, and the numbers it does have vary in consistency. People here play for fun, they like having a pug public mumble and the majority of the wvw people use it and are chill to each other on it. It’s a fun server to wvw on, you always have organized pugs without the ego wars of big guilds.
Mag hasn’t given up, but I don’t think we live and breathe wvw as much, it’s a bit more casual than that.

Funny back in SBI we don’t mind getting killed countless times since there’s always a WP as long as the goal is achieved and bought enough time for the tick … I don’t mind running back n forth to die and rez thereafter… let them enemies get the kick of killing you and make them think they have the upper hand ;]
