Also – 60+ zergs ? They`re like bigfoot, everyone claims they`ve seen one, but all we get is a blurry screenshot. I haven`t seen one of those (zergs, not bigfoot) since the old days when we were fighting Vizunah and even back then those were a rare sight.
Not sure what server you`re talking about but i doubt GH or FSP can field zergs with those numbers…

The golem rush just ago was called early already when we saw your commander party @ north camp so we had the idea what was gonna happen but not many of us are gonna stay up that late to counter your pvd, we rather fight during the day
Was fun nevertheless and well done on the golemrush but we maybe only had 10 people max on the map by the time you finnaly went for it
also someone confirmed you got a beatdown by xaoc in your history and so i have the reason now aswell..
We were up against Blacktide when xaoc where there. At that point Far Shiverpeaks had a lot of Russian guilds as well. During the matchup some swithed over to team with xaoc, and also at the end of the week their Arch Enemy became their new ally.
When we heard that xaoc switched servers and let Blacktide fall and die, just as FSP had once been abandonned by a lot of guilds, we wanted our revenge. Not saying its’ server wide but for some members, and especially my own guild it is this way.
Back then DW didn’t even have their own raids.
Now we do, and xaoc is definitely our target.
Since we know we don’t have to worry about AM during the matchup we can just keep targeting Gunnar’s.

I was in EB and when i opened the map and looked at our borderland i had a panic attack – it was all red. Had to work the whole night to take stuff back and fend off those pesky germans who wanted a piece of out bl also
Had some fun, small scale fights during the night. Oh, well, time to go to bed, i gotta wake up in 3 hours ;(

I actually thought we had made that pretty clear from the start
For us catching up that 35k lead that GH had the first week was quite a huge achievement. And we’re very proud of that and a lot of "kitten YOU GUNANR’s kitten you! " were called out on TS as we were taking over their map over and over. Best matchup ever.
Since then however I’ve been on a wvw break, because of partner visting (long distance suck sometimes, but hey I met him through gw2 <3 ! :P) and me moving houses.
Now FSP has a lot of internal struggles on going, hopefully it will only turn out good, and not into something bad.
But we’ll see. I believe that no matter what FSP goes through right now we’ll only come out stronger.

Might not be a struggle for you. But you got a lot less politics to deal with when you’re not in a guild. Which is why you’ve chosen to be guild less.

Not enough FSP on our BL when I get to play. I don’t like having to travel to collect my lootbags and FSP deliver better than Domino’s Pizza.
We just cleaned up at FSP Bay on lootbags from a massive Xaoc zerg…..we repelled them about 5 or 6 times from the Lord’s room with no more than 12 to 15 defenders. They have finally taken it after about 2 hours sieging it. We really kicked GH kitten there. And just to throw one out there for the conspiracy theorists….AM had about a group of 6 just inside BAY NE gate ganking our reinforcements as they trickled in, Xaoc couldn’t even take it without other interference
Anyway FSP fails quite hard at AM Hill ight now O.O. We already thought that we would lose it… That was 45 minutes agoXD.
We cleared the walls 1 or 2 times, did some supply runs etc etc.. then most of our alliance ppl left, it was well defended
Why does it look like nightly golem rushes is you people’s only “tactic”,and after youve done so,there is zero defending done by your side.Like last night,golem rush in EB, Sm,and grab everything else from FS ? We had our side back in under 30 m with 6 ppl vs 30 of yours,you couldnt even get in langor our last t3 tower..Then AM joined in aswell and grabbed ql while Gh was busy at our garri..Then am crashed your party and even stole our garri from you..Hold you both off and got it all back sooner then you grabbed it.Golem rushes is nice and all,but your wasting alot of money for nothing if you cannot hold anything you capture with your nightcrew when we only have 4 ppl around,it sure makes you feel all warm inside,but thats all i guess.Anyway Fs did a gj on turning it around last night with so few people vs 2 zergs.
Simple. To destroy your towers for the lolz wipe of upgrades and have a laugh. You seemed to have been doing it all week, seems you are slightly upset it happens to you.
Actually it’s the other way around,am,gh have been doing golem rushes every night,we hardly.And not upset at all,6 vs 30 and wiping them…them not being able to get langor was a great laugh for us tbh,getting it all back so easily aswell,nice try though ! Work on that defending next time since golem rushes are the only thing you guys can to waste money on,keep it up though ! Great fun.

Can’t really say its a fail, we only wanted to drain supply to 0, wich we did around 21:45(GMT+1). We hoped that you guys would have split up, but you shown that you managed to keep us both busy

But yesterday were great fights Really enjoyed it.
Now in all fairness, whilst GH may use golems a lot, FSP seem to have a treb addiction. 14 so far in 30mins thrown against overlook.
You do rather outnumber us in the zone atm (we have 5 and I think you have approx 20 last time you entered the keep? Outmanned buff) so for the keep to be lost to such high numbers of trebs is quite odd.
For the record* not complaining, it’s war after all. Just saying our golem addiction is comparable to your treb addiction
*If I don’t say it someone will accuse, if I do say it someone will accuse of that being a sign.. but meh :P

The fun part isn’t the bit people have an issue with matey.
It’s just the dreamy we fight out numbered bit,
Every single time you think you’ve been up against it, fighting the odds and seeing your 5 best mates fighting the enemy zergs desperately and saving the day, well you might to look just over your shoulder and notice the other 20-30+ people in the group you roll with.
As I said in previous posts everyone rolls in zergs it’s just the way this low skill game is and all the talk of ’we’re so skilled and wiped x’ is just nonsense that everyone from every server likes to throw out to make themselves feel good.
I said myself in this thread when I was in a group this week that wiped a much larger group of FSP several times in one hour, I’m pretty sure it was just culling as your side was 1000X worse than normal in those fights but no point me trying to claim our smaller group really went 3 to 1 odds and smashed you because your all terrible or something because 99.99% of the time vs the same people 3 – 1 odds and I’m paying repair bills.
To be honest, quite often it is very difficult to tell just how many enemies you are facing, especially if they have mesmers or classes that use lots of minions (like MM necro). Most people when looking from a distance at the enemy group look for the nameplates instead of trying to count the actual player models which overlap.
As for the second part of your post, i cannot say i agree with it Thomas. Running with a zerg is optional, and even a low level character can make a difference by running supplies or using siege, without having to run with a large group and still making a impact on the enemy.
I usually tend to avoid zergs because of the horrible culling issues the game engine has atm. About 80% of the time i run with a small 5 man party taking supply camps, denying reinforcements, basically trying to weaken the enemy as much as possible and staying one step ahead of their zergs. Sure, sometimes we wipe other groups, sometimes we get wiped, the main thing is that we`re having a lot of fun on both teamspeak and the party chat.
What i`m trying to say is that you do not have to run with a zerg to have fun in wvw, and when running in small groups the game is not the same “low skill game” of zerg vs zerg.
This week was fun, even if AM was a bit overly defensive, both AM and GH did a good job and put up good fights. See you guys after the reset, and good luck to both GH and AM
I said low skill game because that’s what GW2 is whether you do 1v1, 1v5 or 30v30 there is a very low skill cap to the this game no matter the profession you choose.
It’s not a knock on the people that play the game at all, we all play for fun and the game is enjoyable but it’s just one of many reasons GW2 and tPVP won’t ever become a serious esport like Anet wanted.
P.S.
Despite the game having a low skill cap you can still be good/bad at this game.. I’m a terrible mesmer not my kind of class doesn’t gel with me but I refuse to give in !!!

I don’t know when you usually play, maybe after 4 am? Because during the day and in the primetime we’re usually outnumbered from both enemies, so sometimes it happens to you… xD
We usually fight a few against many, and we often succeed to defend or conquer, despite we’re less… so I understand the reason because of you feel so happy and satisfied, it happens to me too… have fun!! xDWell..that counts for you tbh,not us,you had a zerg at 4am,we had a handfull of people ( any bell ringing yet ? )

Yeah was a nice match although we may finish 3rd. It’s quite hard to compete against international servers cause they can make a lot of points between 7am and 3pm because most of us are at school or work. It’s not your “fault” but it still makes a difference compared to a match against another german server:/. Well, we’ll see how it will turn out in the next match.
This match was great and you fought very well… yes, it seems today AM had a low presence in game… but thanks for the match, it was fun and I understand you, I’m in a country with the “same hours” than yours!
