What part of the rule “you cant post screenshots or videos of hacking” do you not understand?

Countless topics have been closed because of it :/

It would be nice if there was an option in the player “report” function for exploiter’s/hackers. all i can choose now are bad names, abusive language, botting, scamming(what ??? implement a p2p trade function) and selling gold.

Pro tip: log into EB before 4pm est and stay there. That is where the fun is.

In T2 keep ninjaing is pretty standard. If your group isn`t resilient enough to fight a zerg trying to ninja the keep you are trying to cap then you lose. Of course in T2 they buff up with combo fields then drop mass invisibility and portal near or on top of you and disentigrate you but hey that`s life. The game actually gives advantage to the person doing the ninja. Or if the zerg is greater than 20 then forget the portal and do the buffs and mass invisibility. A bunch of melee tanky builds are on top of you before you know it. All that null field and hammer stuns and offhand mace knockdown and necro elite form conditions and guardian spinning GS and 9 second invulnerable 6 second quickness 1h sword ranger spam and mind wrack and utter annihilation. Really is the downside to WvW. Whoever came up with boon stacking on combo fields and mass invisibility wasn`t terribly brilliant.

I think we may have gained 10k karma(not entirely sure of the numbers, at least 4k from SMC flippin alone) last night in EB, not bad for only a couple hours.

25 seems a high number to not trigger orange swords it seems. I think 15 would of been a better number. Oh well.

People are bored with WvW and GW2?

Personally spent a lot of time in WvW tonight, lots of attacking/defending objectives, lots of fights of every scale (even some 50 v 50 in DB BL at 2am EST). Tons of badges, tons of loot (emptied my bags 3 or 4 times, can’t remember).

My recommendation is that both DB and YB need to keep attacking us with their all, that way everyone will have the most fun.

We went into YB BL last night and took the whole thing. Almost completely PvDoor.

Seriously? We had no recourse either…the other borderlands were full and to be honest didn’t look much better…

EB was rather PvDoor-ish too last night. There were a somemoments where DB or YB brought a fighting force, but not often. I think people just need to get used to checking things out more often when they see white swords as opposed to relying on orange swords.

I was impressed by how fast DB took their section of EB though. Once they took the keep back, it pretty much went pretty fast from there. I’d say the DB valley was all blue within 15 minutes of them taking keeping back. It happened pretty fast.

I am enjoying my last days in T3 we wont be back for a long time.

I believe TC is making a sizeable push to stay in tier 2, and your rankings are only different by a fraction of a fraction of one point at the moment.

Yup. Everyone needs to focus and get the hell out to WvW. TC making a push and Kaineng is tanking.

Wow how lame I’m happy they are tanking. Any real W3 player will never move to a server that openly admits they are taking a break to allow the enemy IN their tier to survive.

Seriously we all knew how the match would play out last week as we saw the possibility of us moving up, check the thread. Benders do NOT have the coverage needed to face the endless meat-wall that FA can throw at everything. Since we knew it ahead of time most of us figured our pop would drop even lower as people would take a week to level alts, or whatever they do when the fun factor isn’t there in wvw.

Had fun pushing the nnk (and other guilds, sorry was too busy fighting to really pay attention to guild tags) horde off of veloka with our 12-15 defenders for a while last night, but ya’ll just kept coming and increasing in numbers and advancing a little more, throwing more numbers, advancing a little more, throwing more numbers…

It is what it is. It’s not a good thing, nor a bad thing. There’s no morality about it, just the way wuvwuv works but it’s frankly just not fun after a while and time feels better spent doing other things. /shrug

@Guy complaining Benders don’t pollute threads with a bunch of trolling. Sorry?
Just not our style (bar a few rogue YB guys that pop up from time to time). You’ll have Mag back soon enough I’d wager if that’s really what you’re into.

Maguuma’s forum population really doesn’t reflect well on their server, with a minimal amount of exceptions.

Depending upon how far SoS falls, you could eventually get a K/FA/TC tier 2 and a DB/Mag/YB tier 3, which ultimately I would hope, be the most balanced matches we’ve had in a long time.

This is my optimal scenario.
I would hope SoS doesn’t fall too much lower than tier 3.

After I read this it made me think about how tame our forum posts and team chat is. For a whole mess of people with different ambitions, egos, ideas, etc. our team chat is pretty tame. Not a lot of yelling or arguing about what to do.

Even our weekly voice chat meetings are pretty humble.

I logged in to see all of EB painted. I was in YBBL. I spoke with a guildie who said we held for a bit and we had a good portion of the map. About 1am PST big fight in SE tower basically the entirety of the Yak’s pop was on there about 20-25. I run supply to help siege but SE camp now gone. I return to tower to see rams and catas on both walls.

We hunker down play out the fight. During that time about 80% of the map is gone. We start retaking camps 10 min later garrison ninjad. 5 minutes after that entire map painted a non-Yak’s color. Some stay I go do pug sPVP.

Swords help when smaller defenders are trying to move and cover maps. This change makes it more fun fro T1 and T2 but basically forces everyone else with a pop disadvantage to basically give up their map and sit and wait for garrison to be sieged. That’s not fun and it means no counterattacks.

I think the orange sword change needs to be refined further.

FA please be mega poopsockers until reset. Mag wants to roleplay with TC next week.

Trust me a lot of the hard core wvw guilds on FA want to be in Tier2 like Cartman wants cheesy poofs

Anyone else from DB notice how FA stacked seige weps against our spawn in EB lol. I think they held us on the stairs for about an hour. We need more people on EST or I can see this becoming a new trend. Good job btw, you not only stacked from the front but you had people reliably covering all escape routes, if FA is anything like DB then that kind of coordination must have been difficult.

Apparently, DB and YB are giving up to help us get to Tier 2, according to a Kaineng player. Highly doubt that.

Would mean better matchups, you guys have way more people on wvw at any given time… we feel like red-headed step children

1) Get a group of [NERF] Engineers on TS
2) Find an enemy zerg (must outnumber you at least 5 to 1)
3) Don’t listen to reason … charge in and throw everything you have in the air
4) Die horribly while laughing with the TS group
5) Laugh again as the sad person in the zerg types /laugh on his lonely keyboard

DB BL last night around midnight (MST) was fantastic.

So much back and forth on the east side of the map, and some really strong group play! If PRO didn’t show up at the last second to save our bacon, hills and our main tower would have been lost for sure.

I was also in Yaks BL earlier in the evening for some smaller scale battles, and was quite surprised by the Yak group that defended the north supply camp against BT. You guys put up a hell of a fight and eventually pushed us out of the camp

Some really strong feints with portal bombs and invis. from you guys up there.

I don’t expect to see Yaks bend again for a little while, but I will miss you guys.

One of the best sites I saw was a group of 5-10 engineers taking a camp and then all dropping their turret things. I was the sole person watching, so they were just doing it for fun probably, but it was still pretty impressive to see so many turrets.

(it was a couple of weeks ago and I don’t remember the server or guild tag)
