Well, JQ was Tier 1 before they transferred over.

It will be very interesting to see if all the guilds transferring from SoS to BG this week can make it over in tact, bolster their numbers when they get there, and compete with JQ.

I’ll be glad to watch the continued madness of T1 as a casual observer rather than participant. Every serious w3 player should have the chance to play at this level for a little while, and then get the hell out with their sanity.

I welcome BG to to T1… it will be nice to have some kind of challenge for a change. And if you do pull ahead of JQ, I will get to gripe and complain about how “Stacked” BG is ;-)

In a nutshell this is why both servers are now “stacked.” Both have very stable smash your face pvp cores, and have weathered the cycle of wins/losses since launch without becoming “furry little kittens.” This has made them both very attractive for wvw oriented guilds who just want to wvw and avoid the drama llamas.

I’m really glad BG allowed SoR to come up into T1, so JQ could have a chance to poke the llama farm and share in the delicious tears. I’m a little jealous of BG coming into T1 versus SoR because nobody (after weeks and weeks of practice) makes the llama’s cry like BG does.

To be fair, we’ve only had like 3 weeks of practice so far, so please don’t judge us BG!

I believe every guild that left SoS also posted on the forums they would never leave SoS at one point or another.

I’m really looking forward to attending some of the workshops and training some of the honey badgers in their usage.

Tsym is a fantastic guild with exemplary tactics and is a true force to be reckoned with. With all do respect to them, if this is true, I would urge them to reconsider. Jade Quarry has excellent coverage and I really feel any additions will do more damage than good to the wvw community as a whole. I would encourage them and anyone else to consider perhaps SoR, Kaineng, or another server with great wvw potential to balance things out. That being said, if you guys do decide to join us on Jade Quarry, rest assured you’ll be welcomed with open arms:)

I like Tsym, never fought with them, but they are always a tough team to take down. The ‘workshops’ as much as we joke about them, they really work for their team. I have seen a large mass of 50+ in one group just get wrecked by about like 20-25 ppl in the past, now…good luck with that. They have more up their sleeves now with higher level tactics and more thought process as an organized team, rather than an unorganized group running together. In short, I’ll tip my hat to all of Tsym. I have even adopted some of the ‘training’ items that their team has put together. Not just running past a Dolyak and speed buffing it whle we are running as a team and state we are ’Tsym’ng’ a Yak either

Thanks TSYM for some epic GVG last night in SOS BL. We had a blast and should definitely do it again from time to time. It was really fun to step aside from the whole tower capping mode of W3 and do something different for a change. It was really cool to have the other guys on your server hanging out and watching the action. It really goes to say something about your guild when you can get something to happen like that in the open field and nobody interferes. You guys are all top notch. See you on the battlefield.

maybe after Kaineng take our spot in T1 and face the reality of fighting two stacked servers, a discussion about merging the two servers can happen. As individual servers, Kaineng or SoR really have no chance against JQ and BG’s coverage.

I will pitch in to help Tsym move to JQ.

I will throw in a few gold if we can get the old Tsym that roamed around in two – three groups back on DB. Those guys were awesome and would add right into the blue collar lunch-pail carrying JQ guilds always out there roaming and open field fighting against the large 40 man+ plus groups we constantly see the other servers running.

As much as this server stacking thing just doesn’t feel right to me…won’t SoR and Kain basically HAVE TO merge now in order for T1 to have 3 fairly balanced servers?

And IF they do, does that mean T1 is pretty much locked down forever with those 3?

TSYM aren’t leaving, period. That’s what they have told us and I take them at their word. There was no “as long as we’re in t1” clause. it’s amazing the blatant lies people get away with throwing around in here. IF they did leave, the last server they would go to is Jq.

We were in Tier 2 for one week (we won by a landslide think it was close to 200k maybe more).

But don’t take my comments at some kind of shot at JQ. I know full well that total wins has no bearing at all on how good a server is in this game. JQ has been in T1 longer than any other server, regardless of wins, which is a massive accomplishment and arguable makes JQ the most successful server in WvW to date.

My point was to illustrate how it’s a bit silly (in my opinion) to say you’re bored of winning after 4 wins in a row and 7 since October (depending on how long you’ve been on the server). Then again, it HAS been 2-3 weeks of blowouts basically, and everyone has their own limits when it comes to that and boredom overall.

why would any guild want to move to JQ at this stage is crazy. If there is any server to move to its BG they would be the only other server even close to the numbers JQ have.

If BG could pick up some more numbers at least next week’s T1 battle will be interesting.

I suppose they want a shot at all the guilds that left SoS for BG, a little pay back I guess. If you’re on JQ make sure to sign up on the calender for the workshop they will be holding on Saturday. Always nice to learn new tactics!

I have no doubt JQ will continue to dominate Tier 1 for the foreseeable future. And I would like to tell you why. I had been on ‘Beastgate’ for a while and witnessed first-hand the sad and unbelievably arrogant elitist attitude of some of the so called big guilds on that server. You could go hours on EBG without a commander then as soon as someone tries to lead a zerg someone would flame the commander until they switch their pin off.
Even better than that a couple of the larger guilds are so elitist they run around with their commander insisting pugs stay away from them. (Won’t mention names everyone on EB knows who you are) Add to that the constant bickering and general lack of teamwork and you have a fragmented and broken server that really does not belong in T1.

I have been on JQ for 2 weeks now and the first thing I noticed is that it is more of a community than a server. JQ realises the importance of their Militia, they value teamwork and respect each other I rarely see drama in chat but always see constructive intel.

I play Gw2 to have fun and since leaving Blackgate I’ve had plenty of it.

I think saying we are bored of winning is about as silly as people from the guilds that quit SoS saying they are sick of losing. We lost to them week after week for I don’t even remember how long. We didn’t jump ship. They lose for what, 2 weeks? (I don’t count this week since they already started transferring) and suddenly they can’t handle it? That’s laughable, in my opinion.
