If you’re going to run into with a zerg of 30 people and have multiple people spamming environmental stun weapons, the least you could do is kill a small group of 4 people. Didn’t take long to find the trashcan guild of the tier.

We’re not allowed to boast, compliment, insult, foment rivalry, pat each other on the back, or offer kudos to the other servers. All we can do is post links to horrible music and try and score dates. Jeez, don’t you realize the Mods are always watching?

This was the best SM battle ever. AR. you guys kept sieging SM forever by using Valley supplies, we kept spawning and portal bombing for 3 hours to take out the siege. at the end a 3rd awesome commander came “Evilzara” and while we’re having the 3 hours fight at lord room she noticed you only had few supplies left in valley, so with a small group she managed to take out your outer valley and u had to choose between SM or Valley. i wonder how many siege did u build at lord to burn 1.6k supplies just for ballistas – arrow carts O___O. however like i said this was my best battle for SM

Unfortunately we only had a CO in EB for the first half of that fight. Might have fared better, but the pugs wanted to keep SM even after we lost our forward towers and supply camps. They even wanted to stay when you came for our keep. We didn’t get a CO back until midway through the 2nd attempt at our keep. Fun fights! Keep them coming!

Score differences at the moment are less than 5k apart, and all teams are making at least 200 points/tally. Good Show, NSP. Guess you got those numbers I kept wishing for.

People on anvil rock should learn to trust one another. If there isn’t a commander on all that means is there isn’t a blue dot on the mini map. We have a large number of really great leaders that haven’t been able to afford the 100g for whatever reason but are not given the time of day by the general public.

I try to shout out ideas on tactics whenever the commanders are gone, but when I explain that losing 2 camps worth 10 points together, 2 towers worth 20 points together, and a keep worth 25 points alone, isn’t worth keeping SM, the pugs answer back with, “Yeah, but it takes a long time to walk to SM… and I’m already here. Besides, the keep is easier to take back than SM is.”

notice how i use all 15 of my initiative for no reason because game thinks initiative = adrenaline. I don’t notice ingame so I get confused when I try to #5 to stomp him and it ruins the entire experience. That just proves I am the worst thief NA and that warrior outplay me with MINDGAMES

NSP gets elated by a good reset experience, and then we never capitalize on it. NSP defeats itself most of the time, and then seeks external blame for the failure. Some even deny the fact that they failed in the first place, which is never a good sign.

Mindless zergs, while useful at times, are NOT the solution to winning in WvW. A group of 15-20 moderately skilled coordinated players cane wipe zergs of 30+. There are videos of this on youtube to peruse at your own time. Even a group of NSP pugs ,with no VOIP, can turn into quite an effective force after an hour of two. It just requires patience and dedication, and if you lack both of those then you fail. There was a time when guilds on NSP actually spent the time to try to organize the pugs, sadly it is not done as much anymore, and the score reflects this.

We could go the route of Anvil Rock and form a giant guild (not an existing one) for as all to join for WvW. I would not recommend this route as I already know our WvW community has numerous personalities that fervently disagree with each other. Conversely, we could drop our precious little egos, and attempt to work together beyond just two or three small population guilds.

It’s funny how all i ever see on these forums is “Mindless Zergs”. For one thing the GAME is called “GUILD WARS”, not Group Wars, or Small Wars or whatever, “GUILD” Wars. Guilds can have 500 people in it and More Power to people who get the most in WvW. Another point would be just because someone don’t lead the way you do does not mean they are Baddies or whatever. Everyone has a different style of play and the server who can get all working together will WIN. NSP Last night was a lot of fun and it was because players got together from other guilds and worked as one. So HATS OFF to NSP for a great night. And please stop trashing each other.

Surprising, coming from Ronny the guys that never run without a zerg. The amount of time he die, he really need a big group to rez him fast.

Since I started roaming solo again, I’ve had some really good fight. I took the decision to never start a fight with a pro mesmer again, as they just have too many escape move and it’s a hard counter to my build. Especially that charr mesmer from PAXA, I just can’t pin them down. Good job to him and a mesmer from Dkz, that I finally downed, but had the hardest time finishing him, mesmer downed state hitting like a truck.

If yu encounter an ennemy with the [SOLO] tag, it’s me, and /point @ at me if you want a duel, I’m up for it. And If I /point @ at you, it’s the same meaning. Not many people understood that. Especially PAXA, you monkey squad! :P

Over the weekend, I kept getting stunned and then bursted down while trying to reclaim our southeast tower from BP. I noticed the same players always near me when the stun hit, and then saw the Norn BP Warrior holding the gear whenever I saw “Throw” in my combat log.

They were at it again last night, but this time both sides had gears. Sorry for you that you were hanging around the 3-way battles near that tower and Hills keep, including Ronny’s failed golem raid.

No need to feel proud about the time you escaped, in light of the times you haven’t. I already know that some of [Envy] are spiteful and self-congratulatory beyond reason, so I’ve also already learned to love hunting them.

Made up a small video of a couple tower defenses that Ascension was a part of yesterday. First part is of an Ascension 5-man defending Veloka that we managed to ninja from NSP. The second is of a night-time tower defense in AR where we tried to bait both AR and NSP into fighting us.

Things are going good the 15 are dying fast then all of a sudden we start dropping, at first everyone figured meh squished between mini zergs. Nope, turns out it was PAXA AJ’ing our uphill battle, this is why you guys will not get many chances to fight 5 vs. 5.

There is absolutely nothing worse then a 5/8 man (depending on game) who is eager to find 5 mans to fight, but is willing to AJ another 5 man as they fight clearly 2-3X their numbers.

This was friday night, and it saddens me. Oh and to clear it up, I don’t care about being AJ’d, but it makes a world of difference when its the guys asking for small mans to fight.

Have no idea who you are or what 5 man you run. Second, clearly you didn’t play Daoc because Ajing happened every single day. Good groups pulled off surviving occasionally, most lost if Ajed. If you had the jump on the situation from the get go, let the other two hit first then Aj, Double the rps….Why are you complaining? We respect people that beat us fair. We are not going to respect you when you are red just because you are fighting someone else. That being said, expect it pal.

Sure it happened alot in DAoC, but 8v8 generally didn’t AJ another 8 man fighting a zerg, unless said 8 man had done something (such as AJ previously) to warrant the actions. I’m fine with it if thats the way you play, your entitled to play that way, but it is not going to help your cause with getting more small mans out giving you fair fights.

Doing no wondering here buddy. Personally didn’t play much at all this weekend. Couldn’t tell you which of the 3 (if that actually happened) of us it was. Couldn’t care less about “PAXA propaganda” this is a super flawed open world pvp video game. Have fun running behind Mr. Spinny Spinny and his cast of 1000s.

While I am sure there are people on all sides that use them, it was very much your guild that was abusing them. We were hoping that it was just one person from your guild that felt the need to spam an environmental weapon in a zerg of 30 people, but we were clearly wrong when we encountered several more during the fight. Again, I have no problem with people wanting to zerg, I just find it absolutely laughable that a guild running a group that size has multiple people spamming the everliving crap out of an environmental weapon that was clearly not designed to be used in such a way. As if there was any remote form of challenge rolling with that many people, you find the need to have multiple members of your guild spam it. What’s even more funny is that you noticed it enough yourself to be able to pinpoint the exact person who was using it against you, yet it’s a green light for any of your guys using it.

But you haven’t caught us, and you couldn’t get us last night when you were abusing mechanics, so what makes you think you could any other time? Again, it’s not that we escaped a zerg, we do that all the time. Force a group of below-average players in a zerg to do something other than auto-attack and you’ll find that it’s rather easy to extend them, pick them off and escape if need be. The point I’m trying to make is that a group your size should roll over anything it comes across, and when you throw in multiple people in that group spamming abusive environmental weapons, how on earth did you not just wipe us off the map? Again, I accept the role zergs have in an MMO, it’s just mind boggling when a zerg abuses mechanics and still fails at its goal, especially against a group our size. If you’re going to be bad and abuse environmental weapons, try not to be that bad.

Im still trying to remember a time that the 3rd realm didnt AJ a 8v8.. Merlin and Lancelot must not have followed this code… i do recall 8mans of the same realm not AJ’ing each others fights.

BTW we were not a huge zerg and I did not have my tag up it was 7 guildies using tactics and a few pugs that started hangin out with us =) IM gonna buy more ballistas!!!! Muhahahahahaha !!!!! We had one guy gain 3 levels on his lv 50 firing our ballistas , he said ty too.

I love GW2 its the 2nd best MMO i’ve played.. nothing wrong with bringing up the good old glory days tho.

There was no [tag], as I stated in the last few weeks, I have limited time to play. It was a PuG, but fairly easy to tell (regardless of tag) when its 5vMany. PAXA are the ones who asked in our previous threads for me to get a 5 man going. We did what we could to accommodate that request.

I (or anyone for that matter) should have been panning and watching our rear so that fault was ours, but I will admit I was shocked when I realised it was PAXA that hit us considering we fought you 5v5 15-20 min before that.

We will be more attentive the next time, but tell me, whats the difference between being in the zerg and running in to kill with the zerg ? You may as well just run with them at that point. Ya I’m a little pissy about it due to the fact that we were winning the fight against the mini zerg and also because I have stuck up for PAXA’s play style from Day 1 so it was kind of a slap in the face.

No tags makes it difficult to gauge who your fighting, on the other hand it was pretty clear we were outnumbered already and were sporting only 5.

Well my rant is done, I’m sure we will run into each other again.

We will be more attentive the next time, but tell me, whats the difference between being in the zerg and running in to kill with the zerg ? You may as well just run with them at that point. Ya I’m a little pissy about it due to the fact that we were winning the fight against the mini zerg and also because I have stuck up for PAXA’s play style from Day 1 so it was kind of a slap in the face.

No tags makes it difficult to gauge who your fighting, on the other hand it was pretty clear we were outnumbered already and were sporting only 5.

Well my rant is done, I’m sure we will run into each other again.

After playing AR for 2 months, (zergfest 2013) and BP isnt much better, we pretty much discount any and all we see and chalk it up to “apart of the zerg”. So if your red we are going to go in for the kill. Sorry if that upsets you bud. Not trying to be a jerk, just explaining our mentality.

-Rolls into it-

-Zerg proceeds to rush at me-

-They bounce off, I roll out and run around healing-

Indeed, i even have an 80 guardian and i dont think i ever used it until i saw it yesterday on my thief. i was messin around with a guardian and two of his friends, he sancs, i have no idea what it is heartseeker fly through the air and bounce of the dome. get up think to myself most skills dont last that long, give it a 1 count heartseeker again. I mean it nas got to be super short right?

Fly through the air bounce off again. Then they kill me. i couldnt stop laughing.
Yeah i know im bad. It is still funny though.
