That’s the nature of a three-way matchup like this. Sometimes two servers will, for whatever reasons, gang up on another. Tomorrow it could be Mag and EBay ganging up on Yaks, and Sunday it could be EBay and Yaks ganging up on Mag. Sometimes there is an opportunity to strike and it is foolish to not do it. Trust me, we respect Mag a lot (’cept for a few l33t roamers) but we desire no partnership with them or with EBay.

Now get out there and let’s fight!

Do you even know what’s going on around you? Have you looked at the maps? Every borderlands has both invading servers with a keep. And Eternal is split down the middle. Sounds like working as intended to me.

EBay better not start playing this victim stuff again, it’s seriously old.

From what I heard, Yak’s Bend just got a new guild that transferred to their server from Sorrow’s Furnace.

Apparently they have a grudge against Ehmry because some of their members previously transferred here.

So like it or not, while they may not be “allied with Maguuma”, but that rather large guild is certainly only aiming at Ehmry.

And since the enemy of my enemy is my friend it’s not to large of a stretch to say that to our perspective that guild and Maguuma might as well be allied.

I’m a little surprised they didn’t transfer to Maguuma instead since that’s where the rest of the “Hate Ehmry Guild Fanclub” transferred too.

Yeah, Ehmry Bay guilds are the pinnacle of neutrality regarding Maguuma. Come on now.

Would mag stop being cowards and attack yak on their home borders, you are practically feeding them points.

Mag had the outmanned buff for 3 hours in both EBay and Yaks borderlands. Yaks kicked us out eventually, EBay has failed to do so. Even though it’s west keep and west keep is a joke to take if you control garrison. Yaks is doing it right atm, what can I tell ya.

I’ll be back to the maguuma vs blah vs bleh thread in a week or so… ebay is already crying of non existent alliances . I don’t have time for victim cards and bullkitten .. it may be because I am sick but wow reading this first however many posts ebay I will be aiming for you now.

Now, now, we all know Mag only cares about making sure Ebay comes in last.

Don’t mind the forum warriors. I got on late tonight but maps looked liked everyone was getting 2v1 in thier borderland untill yaks cleared thiers out. Working as intended me thinks.

We’re a true NA server and resets start at 8pm EST. Things never get bad until midnight. Not enough time to pimp out our keeps for the small night crew.

And really I think we’re one of the smaller WvW servers out there as well. Outmanned in 2 borderlands on a reset, directly after winning the last match up? And Friday is always the most we field during a week. Not exactly a huge population… Our numbers are just more consistent than say EBays throughout the week, who seem to taper off as the week goes by (why is that anyway?). Instead of only playing on the weekend, most of us play all week. Or make some attempt to anyway.

I’m confused. I thought the Maggies and EB were buddy chum-chums. And I was certain the Maggies’ ‘Hate YB Fanclub’ was bigger than their ‘Hate EB Fanclub’. The former has about three people in it.

The funny thing is Maguuma has proven we can beat Yaks with a good 3rd server.

Ehmry is too busy being vultures in these match ups that they don’t bother to watch the score board like the DBers did.

Trying to say we are letting yaks run away with the lead when we controlled keeps on yaks BL for an order of magnitude longer than Maguuma did? Riiiiiiiiiiiight.

I thought there were many great fights tonight against both Yak’s and Maguuma. Fights at our camps were intense and several of them in lowlands seemed to last 20-30 minutes each. Looks like we are slowly gaining control of our BL but Yak’s is still a force. It’s great to be back in T4!

So very, very glad to have EB back again. I was getting pretty frustrated trying to fight the 20+ yaks camping maguuma spawn, but fighting you guys in GH/INC made up for it.

It’s disingenuous to say that we didn’t make an effort on their borderlands, though. We took their keep after some time though the means through which it was obtained is still in question. Either way, it made them rather annoyed and they took it right back and we were unable to take it back for awhile after. And of course, east keep is easier to defend. Meanwhile, most of our guys were in our own borderlands since you guys kind of took our garrison and all. And if you’re going describe effort in terms of points captured then there is much more evidence if you focusing us than the other way around.

Ultimately, it was my request for the rest of our forces to pull out of Yak’s Bend and support the effort in your borderlands, because we already had a waypointed keep by then and we were being pushed by both sides on that map. It didn’t seem likely that we were going to get east keep back, so sure, you can blame us for giving them points, but it wasn’t for lack of trying. We simply don’t have the manpower to go everywhere, and our organization just isn’t on par with yours on opening nights.

On a lighter note, shout out to the LoS guild on Yak’s Bend if any of them read this, for being cool and having a jumping party with some of us from Maguuma even though it was reset night and Ehmry and our own pubbies kept attacking over us

Didn’t say I’d kill a zerg by myself. When I run with the guild, we basically just bust zergs repeatedly. Vs DB, I had to be careful to choose how I initiated. Vs Yaks, I just go nuts because they aren’t going to kill me anyway.

Never said you did not make any attempt. I just implied your effort was absolutely laughable. You are right, east keep is much easier to defend. Which makes me wonder why you could not defend against it while we were able to hold bay.

Yes, I am blaming you for giving Yak’s points. Especially since that last paragraph directly admitted prioritizing gaining your own points at the expense of an ever increasing Yak lead.

its hurting us as well. a number of guilds swapped maps to help out with a siege that was going poorly for us on a separate map. when it was done they were stuck locked out of our BL and couldn’t get back to where they needed to be

I call shenanigans. How is it that Haks Bend zerg got into map minutes before anyone else could and had outer walls at the bay at 50%. We saw a mesmer glitching over the wall earlier and now this. I have never seen this sort of stuff until we had this matchup. Yaks Bend = Haks Bend

I think it was a Mag thief before the server restarted for the new fight, but I want to congratulate you on your build.

You’ve created the equivalent of the WoW 1 minute Mage, but you’ve done it in an in-your-face way instead of the sneaky here-comes-two-crit-pyroblasts-from-nowhere way.

Just letting you know, I was the YB engie cat that you kept shadowstepping and owning in 2 seconds. Over and over. Was that a sword combo with Basilisk’s venom and Haste?

accusations of hacking and/or flaming other servers only serve to get our thread locked and many people use these threads to obtain score updates.

Yak’s closed out the night with a good lead. We had a good showing from both our new guilds and our old guilds who just moved back from BlackGate to be with their Yak friends once again.

It’s the Yak Vac Hack. I was standing minding my own business knee-deep in a mother of pearl bath filled with risen juice when I was sucked without my permission into the YB BL together with another 49 complete strangers. When I got there I thought I might as well wipe my filthy boots on the tissue paper walls of the newly reset keep and I tore them a little. I’m really sorry about that, and the stain.

Great fights last night, that was the first reset I have managed to make for weeks and it was great to see 3 way fights going on in all 4 maps through most of the night. I logged off about 7 hours ago when we finally got our own borderlands cleared.

Maguuma’s efforts certainly were not laughable. They had a bit of a slow start before their numbers built up, but after that we had a tough fight on our hands trying to keep both you and them contained. They nearly got into ne tower twice and held well in east keep despite the fact that most of the Yaks on the map were trying to get it back. The fact east keep was taken under dubious circumstances was their downfall since that angered a lot of Yaks players and they were focusing on the east side of the map exclusively (at the expense of west, we actually lost west keep to you during our first attempt to retake east keep, whether by luck or by design you got into west keep just as most of our forces were inside east).

Anyway, hope the action keeps up throughout the week. Seen some great manoeuvres from both Mags and EB so far, hope to see plenty more before the week is done.

Was in Eternal during reset for the first few hours and man that was great fights everywhere and much more chaotic since I’m usually in our borderlands at the start. Swapped over to EB bl and it was just relentless pushes from each side. Good fights with I think it was [CL] guild from Yaks and too many from Mags to remember.

Hopefully this thread is cleared of all the pointless bickering because man it is depressing. We need more people like Besetment/Rebel Daughter posting here.
