I have literally never had a single guild vs guild fight in this game. If you run as a coordinated guild group, your only option for decent fights is wiping large numbers of zergers. There’s just no group competitive scene, especially when one of the servers is Yaks.
Its all 3 servers. My guild was trying to get a small group going last night in EB but we couldn’t because of the zerging from Ebay and Mag.

You are inclined to believe that but not to believe that the large transfers you’ve recently received are not why you are in second place? Seems quite odd to me. Or are you saying the large PPT lead you had early in the morning or the embarrassing amount of time you kept our east keep aren’t because of outnumbering both Yak’s Bend and Maguuma at night and during the workday, and that you somehow gained a large amount of skill fighting in T5?

Borderlands are designed to encourage the two invaders to tag team the defenders (who have an absurd advantage).
Rest of the map all looks pretty standard. YB’s strategy in EB has always been to smash Red with numbers then move on to blue because it lets them leverage their numbers in the best way (as in, capture the red keep which essentially means you control red’s lands, much in the same way controlling SM means you—should—control the surrounding towers). Mag’s strategy has always been to stab Ebay in the back even if it hurts themselves in the long run.
So, really, nothing out of the ordinary in that picture.

I see your EB strategy is working well for you, with the whole having two towers on Ehmry’s side and none on ours. Speaking in absolutes as to what your or our strategy is ridiculous, so please don’t presume to judge what our intentions are. We had a number of people running around in Yak’s Bend’s BL tonight too, but it wasn’t enough to take east keep. And please don’t bring that argument back that we should have abandoned our west keep on Ehmry Bay’s BL to go attack east keep “for the greater good” because that argument is old and silly.
To the ranger in Badger Spirits I just fought a few times: We didn’t get to finish any of the fights, but I still had more fun fighting you than any other ranger, so thank you for that anyway.

We aren’t really mad, but the fact that you seem to think that it’s your superior skill rather than superior recruiting that has us beaten is quite an odd notion. You can admit that without saying anything about your skill but instead you went for the inflammatory route. But if you can reply to my above posts instead of strawmanning it more then I might be convinced otherwise!
Oh, I more meant Ehmry. Last night/morning was the first time I’d heard of them outdoing Yak’s at night, but maybe I am just very unaware.
See, I thought Ehmry gained because Yak’s didn’t show up last night. I logged in looking for people to pvp with and there was just mosquitos and drakes hanging out in EB.
They coulda all been in the borderlands. I didn’t bother logging into our server voice coms so eh..
I guess there’s no way to really know. Its so hard to judge how many are on each side anyways because of that phenomenon where everyone seems to feel their own side has much less people than the enemy.. it makes it hard to trust my judgment.

HIRE is an amazing guild that pound for pound holds its own as well as any guild i’ve seen in any tier of WvW. I’ve seen many many competent players on Ehmry Bay from many guilds.
Yak’s Bend is fortunate to have such great opponents. And it is only through hard work and a bit of luck that we have the lead in this.

Luck has nothing to do with this. The players on Yak’s take pride in our server and we have some really good players and commanders.

No idea what you’re smoking.. how long did it take yak to take our garrison?? Four hours inside the lord room or something? It took us less then 5 minutes to take yours immediately after and we were only pushed out of it once we were outnumbered 6 to 1.. you should wvw more and jumping puzzle less.

Most of what people keep trying to claim is some grand conspiracy of being 2 v 1’ed tends to just be people capitalizing on opportunities. If Mag helped Yak take our garrison and wipe the upgrades, then maguuma would have an easier time taking it for themselves.. or they were going to hide one of their 9000 mesmers inside and hope yak didn’t check.. can’t really blame them for it.

If you were on YB yesterday you would have said the same thing when we were taking our keep back in Eternal and a Mag group crossed the map, with them also being down to 1 keep and 1 tower, and repeatedly hit the YB forces in the rear and delayed our efforts at getting EB out of our part of the map.
Realistically, I think they were being opportunists and looking for easy kills while YB were focussed on the keeps; but I can see why people could easily interpret that as them rushing to EB’s aid.

First time posting ever. I been doing the JP on 1 BL a fair amount and this morning I did again, that is , I tried. 3 YB cowards started to attack from water as I was climbing toward the lower key. Why ?. I don’t get it. Small people I guess. Next time guys, try a 1 on 1 if you have the guts. I have never attacked a player in a JP myself but I guess that is just me.
