Just make sure that you don’t leave a mess in the towers when we re-claim everything later today. I mean really…some of you are very messy house guests.

You will have to pardon NSP they are having trouble grasping the new reality they find themselves in.

For so long they have been the underdog. The small server. So when they were posting about how good their small teams were. Or screen shots of them taking keeps. Or them turning a Borderland a certain color. It was cool. They were the scrappy underdog standing up to the big mean server.

Most of them don’t seem to have grasp the concept that they are the bully on the block now. Turned a bl all one color? Great you are suppose to. Winning? Great you are suppose to. Holding a keep against two servers? Pretty run of the mill when you out number them both. Camping a spawn? Par for the course. Great small teams?? Don’t matter anymore, your size will get it done without you.

I’m sure they will calm down. Eventually.

We can probably push and be back in t6 next week, but i honestly am enjoying the smaller fights more. and please dont call AR “the big mean server” BP deserve that title FAR more than you guys do.

God I hope HoD don’t team up with NSP like they did DH, That made for a really messy WvW.

We took on the coordinated 25man [HH] guild this morning when they had everything in EB, with 5 NSP people.

No. Not 5 guildies all in vent and talking.
Just 5 regular average joes following their commander.

We were wiped.. I don’t even know how many times.
But eventually after a couple of attempt and building ram upon ram, we got into Klovan. Seems [HH] think they are too good to repair doors, thankfully. And we just walked around their spawn camp.

After we got that, people had a bit more hope. More of us started to come onto the map and stay there. Before we knew it we had 10 people and could do a breakout event.

Only reason we got Aldons was because the chaps in [HH] fell for the good old fake breakout. And literally as we capped it they appear at the aldons door, where we had to defend like mad.

5 AC’s later and we push them away.

We got our keep back by hold them at the bridge choke point with EVERYONE and having 2 people on rams in the back hitting the doors.
Even then we lost Klovan and had to recap it later on.

I mean.
Talk about numbers.

I’m sure GoM or HoD has 40 people online in their entire server. Go into Lions Arch like we do and ask people to come help.
NSP is a PvE server, but they like free karma too.
When we took back our third in EB, the [HH] guild just quit and left. You had people, but they just didn’t want to bother with us. So what were we supposed to do? Just wait for you guys to come back and defend?

Taking back EB with initially half a dozen people when against 25? I’m sorry but if you think we just strolled around and PvD’d and didn’t have to respawn two dozen times, then you’re truly bad and nothing can save you.

Look at the SS’s of us getting face rolled. There are a few in there.

I’m not a magician, no one can win every fight.
But wearing down the enemy until they just /quit is good enough.

Well on behalf of HH we dont care about taking towers, we only hunt our enemy and battle to the death, we didnt care if you took the towers or not we just wanna battle you guys, we knew you guys were baiting us but we cant resist a good battle.

We had lots of fun fighting you guys, when u see us HH come at us hard, we love big glorious battles.

Oh and the to the pink haired guardian commander, you sir are one tough sob it takes forever to take you down, shake my hand good sir! good battles!

Pretty much gonna parrot what Pyro said, but I think you have a clear misconception about the HH guild of our server is. HH is pretty much a guild that zergs for the battles and kills, not so much capping towers or defending, p.much a kill group first and foremost. Since we had all of the BLs I suppose that was the cause of the alleged spawn camping. Also being in the HH guild myself, we may not be the most tactically sound of groups to zerg in, nor do we focus on one objective for like 10+ hours straight, but BOY the battles we have at times against an opposing zergs are fun, and is a nice unwind from defending said towers and camps. Yes, I know even you NSP have your small kill groups that roam our BLs that I unfortunately run into when solo roaming as well, but that’s what WvW is in this tier, and I’ve learned to deal with it.

NSP abused us while we tried to hold SM. Once HoD had SM for a bit every one pretty much went to their standard corners and tried to hang on to what they had. Good times.

Yeah I was gonna post some SS’s to dispute GOM’s claim that they didn’t have any people, guess there’s no need for that now..

Glad to see numbers on all 3 sides tonight a lot of epic battles were had. GOM I didn’t think you would ever stop throwing your zerg at Klovan.. Was a pretty long epic battle, after which I spent 20 minutes solo repairing the walls and escorting doly’s for the upgrade (which had been almost done for awhile) to go through.

I don’t know if you guys managed to recruit some PVE’rs from Lions Arch or what, but whatever it is, keep it up.

First post since we moved down a tier.

Hey all, small asuran guardian with jugger is moi
No we did not drop intentionally, albeit alot of people did take a a break from wvw because it had gotten to such a rediculous stage of double teaming.
I have nothing bad to say about BP, they actually fought fair. And i know people will post and say blah blah blah NSP QQ etc. But search the old threads and you’ll see pictures of both AR and BP spies on our server in party with invaders giving them info of our movements.
I know of one NSP “commander” who did work with BP to double team ar, but he was not a representative of the NSP WvW alliance of guilds, nor did he command a guild but pugs who knew no better.
I welcome a new fight, with GoM and HoD, you guys have alot of smaller forces (your reaction time needs a little work but maybe i just caught you in your offtime, apologies) It’s very refreshing to fight new opponents, new strategies to sauce out is always fun.

About the glitch, I dont hold it Against GoM as a Server, But [HH], cant wait to find you.

Spawn camping is also good in my books. I dont particularly like it but i dont condone it. Its not an overpowering strategy by any means as Bird has shown.

People mentioned that NSP camp the JP puzzle, I used to hate it but after fighting AR and BP for what seemed like eternity, you literally couldnt walk in there without being ready to sneak by the campers and port a big force in to take them out. Nothing else would do. Until the patch they loved setting up a kittentonne of seige in there. If you get killed by an NSP player in the EB JP im sorry but you can thank AR and BP for our conditioning, i did however have a very pleasant convo with a HoD player who was clueless and i showed him the way through (unfortunately he fell off the pillar on his own accord, died and logged off)

GoM is actually a very high population server, WvW just gets ignored. It all started with the (unjustified) sigma of GoM being a “dirty hacking server,” which caused many of our WvW guilds to transfer off. This in turn broke three consecutive attempts at a server alliance, which caused even more guilds to transfer off, which finally resulted in a lot of burn out and people not playing (myself included).

Since then GoM has slowly been rebuilding. We finally have a functioning server alliance, and wonderful coordination between most guilds. We still have a lot of learning and growing to do, but we now make steady progress. As this continues, GoM WvW is becoming a community that people want to be a part of, and I expect that our WvW population will continue to grow because of it.

So where did GoM’s numbers come from? It is a combination of PvE players wanting world completion, and a long hard effort by the members of the server alliance.

So… I really hate saying this, but It’s becoming pretty obvious that someone is exploting/hacking.

I’m not gonna call out guilds, but there are certain incidents happening. Someone posted that GoM lost a lot of their WvW guilds because they were stamped as a hacker server… Well… As I said, certain incidents are leaving me no other choice but to actually agree with claims that have been whispered to me.

All you’re doing at this point is causing trouble. If you’re not going to be forthright with examples of cheating/hacking, then – at least to me – it’s appearing to be a case of sour grapes.

If you honestly think (and have evidence to back up these claims) that a guild is engaged in active cheating/hacking…report it with evidence to ANet. Coming here and making these claims without anything to back them up is making you look like a forum troll.

Please stop… everything you’ve accused us of is completely baseless and you sound misinformed about the whole orb hacking ordeal in general, PM me if you’d like and I’d be happy to walk you through what happened then and how silly it is to hold it against anyone, let alone an entire server. I consider 90% (I’m being very generous) of what you’ve said so far to be tin foil hat conspiracies fueled only by gossip and tid bits you’ve read here.

The only exploitation that’s been happening worth mentioning here was that whole unknown invader thing after the server crash, and that was shared between all servers.

95% of the time someone says “there must be a spy, someone HAS to be feeding them information,” there is no spy. You got anticipated. Perhaps someone got lucky repeatedly. Perhaps you are more predictable then you realize. I know that in the alliance, we spend a lot of time in voice chat discussing where we think they will go next. We then send scouts, work out contingency plans, etc.

So for me to believe that “someone is feeding GoM information,” I’m gonna need some proof. Even if their is a spy, I guarantee you that the server as a whole is against it, and would mass report the person. So if you have proof, let us know and we will report them into oblivion for you.

If you don’t have proof, then you are just kicking up drama, whether you intend too or not…

(For the record, spying is not hacking.)

So… I really hate saying this, but It’s becoming pretty obvious that someone is exploting/hacking.

I’m not gonna call out guilds, but there are certain incidents happening. Someone posted that GoM lost a lot of their WvW guilds because they were stamped as a hacker server… Well… As I said, certain incidents are leaving me no other choice but to actually agree with claims that have been whispered to me.

This is my personal experience, not “the entire NSP backing me on this”

You know…we, as a server, have had to fight our way out from under the dark cloud of hacking accusations which sullied (rightly or wrongly) or reputaion. If you’re going to saunter into the forums and throw down an accusation like this, you’d better come with pics, and specific instances of what you’re considering a concerted effort to take advantage of game mechanics in an unfair or unscrupulous manner. You don’t want to call out guilds – that’s fine and honorable.

However, for you to leave an accusation of hacking and exploiting at GoM’s doorstep like a flaming bag of dog poo and then run away with a giggle…that’s just poor form and reeks of bad sportsmanship.

That’s why I am posting it.
1. I want to see the reactions,
2. As far as sportsmanship goes, someone is feeding GoM information, so that’s out the window.

All you’re doing at this point is causing trouble. If you’re not going to be forthright with examples of cheating/hacking, then – at least to me – it’s appearing to be a case of sour grapes.

If you honestly think (and have evidence to back up these claims) that a guild is engaged in active cheating/hacking…report it with evidence to ANet. Coming here and making these claims without anything to back them up is making you look like a forum troll.

I’d like to know what makes people think that GoM is cheating. Or what people have seen.

FACTS FOR A CHANGE
- I have been playing WvW 5h+/hours per day for the last 4 months.
- I’ve been very active in the WvW Alliance, organization, communication
- I have NEVER EVER seen a spy feeding us information, NEVER EVER seen a GoM player hack in any way I could tell, NEVER EVER heard of any plan of organized/active WvW players in the GoM community to go against the rules.

A WORD OF ADVICE
- First of all, you don’t come here and throw empty accusations at a server. Respect. Or everyone will just take you for a Bad Troll.
- If you ever have a problem with an individual, don’t start saying a SERVER is behind his actions.
- If you ever have proof of any bad behavior (cheat, spy, etc) from GoM, I know ALL the members of the GoM Alliance and our community as a whole will condemn it.

I am very proud to be playing on Gates of Madness, proud of our WvW Teams and our efforts on the battlefield. I will never let someone try to drag GoM’s name through the mud.

lol don’t expect a fair duel with them guys, no point in wanting to duel them anyways as they are so bad. One Sans Thief waited outside SM while I was just standing there inbetween it and the sentry, until 4 other guys showed up.. Then they all bumrushed me and after a 5 minute fight with me downing some of them several times, they all ran away..

Agreed. We have quite a bit of server pride and we don’t like baseless accusations being thrown at us (honestly who would). Back your claims up or don’t make them, simple as that.
