Last off-topic post. I swear!

I know exactly what you guys did wrong that match-up and if you guys had a different strategy on reset you would have possibly beaten us that week. There was a sense of delusional arrogance with FA moving up to T2. After the IoJ transfers some of you thought you could compete with BG in skill and coverage.

Your reset plan where you sent some of your ‘better’ guilds to BGBL (they did fairly well) and not to TCBL. The guilds that were assigned defence of FABL were trying to slow BG down at Bay instead of TC at hills or at the least playing it safe and just turtling garrison. It was just not a smart strategy, your reset plan was flawed as you could have maximized your points by spreading the guilds out more evenly or focusing on TC more.

I was proud of how well FA did that week. We ended with a bigger overall point gain than BG or TC. Our final score was just 17k behind TC. http://mos.millenium.org/servers/view/39/#history We didn’t get pushed back down to t3 that week, we were displaced by Kain as they vaulted upward from t3.

But you are right that we probably underestimated BG. Call it “delusional arrogance” if you’d like, but speaking for myself, I just hadn’t faced a server like that before and I was really curious about them. We learned a lot from them, and we’re doing better in tier-2 now. Anyway, hope FA and TC meets again soon cause TC is a really fun bunch.

I would like to give a hearty /Saaaalute to all the SOS and FA players tonight in KBL! Great fights the entire 5+ hours I spent in there. Our Guild had a blast trying to keep our mitts on the camps in the North, you all really kept us on our toes. Mind you we only had maybe 8 or so of us in tonight, but everyone commented on what fun fights we got.

Also to Comm. Schizio and Comm. Ethersin fantastic work in there tonight! Thank you for another fun night of WvWvW.

If either FA or SoS see the [Dom] tag on a Kaineng defender or Kaineng Invader just know we are a casual and honorable guild. Treat us honorably and we treat you honorably. I have left many people alone if they leave me alone first if not near one of our camps or towers. Those [Dom] defend to the bitter end and will keep coming back to defend. We all are looking forward to some fun matches so in the words of the other Kaineng players save the fighting for the fields of battle.

As long as FA can stay ahead of SoS in points they will probably stay in T2.

Some great fights today, I was not part of TSym’s all elementalist raid but I am fairly glad I was not on the receiving end of all that lightning.

Well I’m out for the week. I have blue screen of death syndrome and my anti-virus only gives errors in safe mode. Up all bloody night trying to fix the kitten thing. Last time I ever beta test something. I’m suprised how close the match is on sunday.

I think our performance so far is probably even surprising some of our own folks. We’ve been tiptoeing around outmanned on KBL and FABL fairly consistently and even on our own BL at times. Despite that, there’s been some great fights so far and it’s still all mostly there to play for.

I am just wondering though, with the scores looking how they are in both tiers, is Kaineng prepared for a potential appearance in T1 in a couple of weeks’ time?

We probably have the best match-up of all the tiers except for bg vs jq and our thread got pushed down to page two. Where are the pom-poms? A former T1, a T2, and a T3 server collide in a disturbingly close match where it seems everyone is playing for first. This is the stuff of poetry. Tommorow is manifest to the veterans. I won’t insult them with prophetic verse. So….offense, defense, or special teams?

Fights are so good, no time to spam forums.

No, sadly our NA is not ready for tier 1, but to be honest i prefer tier 2 =)
Kain-TC-FA Match-up sounds great to me , just hope it happens before we get to t1 =)

They should probably do some interclass brainstorming amongst their guilds. e.g. If a ranger fires barrage into a zerg ball with lots of protection up a necro with spectral grasp should pull the ranger in near the end of their cast into the ball. Either the ranger breaks the channel and only gets 3 volleys of barrage off or they get the full 12 off and get pulled in. Everytime barrage lands the ranger can take up to 2k+ damage from retalation due to barrage still dropping. The ranger dies under the zerg ball. The ranger probably won’t get a rez.

A lot of the credit for our improvement as a server has to go to BT for setting up the various community programs we have going on.

we had really great fights against warmachine and tysm last night, and I look forward to more of them throughout the week. This particular T2 matchup is the most fun most of us have had in a long, long time, and I think we’re all learning a lot by going up against your compositions.

A large number of the “hardcore pvp guilds” couldn’t take losing 2 or 3 weeks so they transferred to Blackgate.

Some great fights. Grats to a few like TSym etc for being so organised scouting wise, much of SoS needs to improve rather than expect others to scout for them.

Thank you to the enemy player who downed but did not kill my ranger who was doing vista’s. You are always entitled to the kill but I was impressed when you just ran off!

FA doesn’t have EU or SEA, but FA does have NA and Oceanics playing overtime to cover the gaps

Yeah that would be our NA being able to play midday because of the weekend. Should be a different story once the week gets going and everyone has to work.

Aha! I figured you guys were staying up extra late! I think it’s safe to say, unless you all exhaust yourselves and sleep the rest of the week, you’ll be here next week. You guys have been fun opponents so far and you deserve to be here.

As someone said our NA have been hit and miss it seems for a week or so. I’m not sure if it’s the new content or what, but something seems to have changed. As for myself, I work long days during the week and don’t have as much time (or energy) to log on much during the week. I hope we can field enough however.

Great respect to SoS as well, we follow in their footsteps after all. SoS has been a standard to aim for these many months, along with BG and the other top tiers. They deserve their laurels.

AND our much loved TC, we do miss you, so it would be nice to get you back up here as well. I wish we could have a 4 server match up!

Totally agree. Unless you guys have another fallout of guilds, I could definitely see FA/Kain/TC in t2, and SoS, DB, and Mag/Yaks Bend in T3.

FA took the lead. Hope we can continue being as successful over the rest of the week.
