You GvG guys this thread is about WvW.

You have started more than on GvG thread already.

We know you guys are really craving attention, but please keep it on your GvG thread.

WvW already has a scoreboard and a way to judge who is winning if you do not like the outcomes work with your whole server getting better, not just a few people running around killing people in the open field which in turn helps your server none.

Upgrading, running yaks, scouting the enemy, fast reaction times is what your server needs not a group of people with crappy builds for taking or defending keeps.

And to all the SoR out there you guys are a good server and I respect your guilds but this forum warriorship is just pitiful to watch. It’s a game and not many of you seem to realize that based on what I read on the forums in the past few days. CDS you guys beat EMP but that doesn’t mean you guys come to the forums and troll them over it. One person’s reaction or opinion is exactly that one person even if its their Guild leader or founder or what not. Anyone who knows Rawnoodle’s know that he gives everything 110% and he takes a lot more crap than anyone on this forum combined. He took crap for recruiting and when he first made ESOL and then went to EMP. He took crap for helping build JQ to what it is today. He took crap for recruiting for our server when we desperately needed it. Heck he gets trolled for fighting for his server and giving it his best effort because one group of people thinks they are so accomplished because they can take an dominate 1 out of 4 maps.

While Noodles and I may not always see eye to eye I respect the hell out of him because he’s stuck between a rock and hard place. No matter what he does he will be scrutinized by everyone and no matter what happens he will suck it up and keep showing up and helping JQ out on the field. So to anyone that has an issue with EMP might as well just start clumping all of JQ up with EMP because they are such a vital part of the community you can’t have JQ without EMP and vice versa.

hmm… GvG is a big thing because it is competitive. WvW is lame/boring and not competitive. Sorry if the PvD people are offended by the GvG crowd.

btw WvW does NOT make you a better player. Would you PvE to improve your PvP skills? In order to progress you must challenge yourself by fighting tough opponents – not running from them.

Yes though, BGBL was a bit different than usual last night. LOTD and KOTA mostly stayed up north and was in charge of locking down garrison the towers and spiritholm. That left the 30 ICoa + maybe 5ish pugs/randoms to try to take hills. It was challenging for sure with a bit less and there is less leeway for mistakes if your going with the medium sized tactic verses the mega, but that made it kinda fun. We knew as long as we kept the pressure south, our friends back at Garrison were doing their job, and we got the first Waypoint on reset not in EBG. Mega zerg isn’t the only way. :P

SF, your havoc team did a good job of staying away from our zerg. I only remember catching you maybe twice all night. We tried to go after you for awhile, and realized you were best left alone, its a lot easier to find Hills, it doesn’t move. lol

Really fun reset night on BG BL. the fights never stopped! Shout out to Fear & CDS from SoR and Icoa and LotD from BG! You guys were hitting us hard all night and we loved it!

one thing I noticed is that most of the guilds stayed separate for the most part not forming a mega zerg ball! This made fights really fun in open field because it was like 30v30 or so for each engagement, one side never really having a huge number advantage. Anyways even though we lost a bunch of stuff on our map we were really having a blast thanks for bringing the heat!

btw saw the new SF troll tag. what was it Bag Force [SF]? love it, keep em coming!

We had a lot of fun as well! Had some pretty epic fights north of Briar tower and in the north near Godslore. I like splitting our guilds up as well. A lot of people on the forums complain about WvW being a zerg fest, but when you fight in smaller groups like that, you get a lot of opportunities for random GvG fights.

Btw Jedbecca, CDS still wants to GvG you guys for real. I enjoyed playing with you back on SBI in the old days, and you seem like a great sport. See you in the field this week. Beware of traps.

Well said, Stei. Truth is EMP doesn’t need defending. Noodles is the hardest working man in WvW. They have the sack to take on other guilds in WvW. That’s enough for me. Plus they totally wrecked hills in BGBL earlier.

EMP makes an easy target because they are well known and very visible on map. Just like Tsym took a lot of crap when SoS was king. The truth of what EMP can do is on map, not in the forum. And that map is in the game, not on youtube.

I have a feeling that we’re going to learn a lot this week about which guilds are the best and it won’t be from a GvG matchup. Get your helmets on folks.

Great fun in BG BL tonight on reset, got 5 rares and 1 exotic doing havok work instead of ZergvZerg. Gotta give it too Sor though, [FEAR] + [CDS] + [Hel] was a tough bunch with [ICOA] + [LOTD] knocking on hills constantly. That north camp though, [LOTD] had on lock down haha!

It was refreshing too give up hills for a bit so we can just go do stuff away from defense, sadly a lot of the EST members had too call it a night and give the map away instead of losing sleep. I find being serious after 12 am PST isnt’ worth it, hell i don’t know how you EST folks stay up till 9pm PST isn’t it like midnight over there? haha!

But thanks for the fun [CDS] we couldn’t defend your bay from yourself at Outer south bay before we called it a night. Had a blast!

p.s. – JQ had the best NA prime time PPT again this week *boo yah! Props to the EB team!

We have never worked with a guild so disrespectful. Not only didnt CDS give us the time to set up, the brought over 20+ people? to a 15v15.
No respect”
which you can find on the video comments is pretty much kitten. It was clearly shown in the video that there are 14 or 15 players. That is where the poor sportsmanship comes in. By saying ‘We’ in that comment he includes his guild. But one incident doesn’t make a person or a whole guild. So it’s probably best to just get on with it and killing each other in unorganized fighting instead.

SoR vs BG in the SoR Borderlands. Was a kitten good fight, I enjoyed watching them push JQ away before sieging.

There are reason’s why we limit the amount of chatter on forums.

In regards to the “CDS GVG Video”, it was unplanned and uncoordinated. I’m not here to draw up further semantics, but the facts are we didn’t have time to set up. It was unprofessional, the leader refused to correctly coordinate with us nor did we have time to correctly display the fieldwork. The only communication we recieved was when the “match” was started.

EMP is here to have fun, and most importantly make things fair. GvG’s are fun if we can sit down and meet on agreeable terms with both parties but at the end of the day, we play for the server and the PPT. I can go on about certain elements of the unjust and exclusionary evidence of that “gvg video” but at the end of the day, it wont prove anything and it’s just unfortunate that this debate has been going on 5 pages into this thread.

We want a fair and a modest fight. . If we loose, we want to loose in respect under the jurisdictions of rules set forth by the courtesy from both guilds

The end goal is to promote healthy rivalry and respect, like guilds we faced in the past. Choo/HB/Tsym/ICoa/VoTF so we can create other possible structured events, not sever them.

We lost to VoTF fair and square and you don’t see us bickering about it over forums. Heck, We even posted a video about that loss.

So let us please clean up this threat a bit and keep the fight in the arena.

Do you know what a GvG is? last time I checked, it didnt involve the green tags of every guild in SoR. But if thats what it takes to “win…” oh and reading the SoR map chat during that video is lulz and gives it even more context.

Participating in GvG shows that EMP have real guts, even if they organize a fight and then pike out at the last moment 3 times.

It doesn’t matter what’s said on these forums, what matters is how fast EMP can run from their enemies on the battlefield. And there is not a single guild in the game that can run as fast as these guys.

Man all I see from you is trolling yet you also left SoS. Sounds like a double edged sword there don’t you think? Can’t talk about someone running from a fight if you left your server after the going got tough. EMP stuck it out through a period where SoS outnumbered us all hours of the day yet we still showed up. Thing’s that define a guild are what they do when things get tough not what they do when nothing can go wrong.

This was why I am still skeptical about the whole GvG issue. EMP never had issues getting facerolled over by VoTF, nor did they brag over their win over iCoa. If Raw had trouble with CDS vs EMP, there definitely was something fishy/wrong going on.

Throwing out huge props to whoever that [PRO] guild is on BG, though we have some guesses. After about 5 hours and around 15 attempts, they were the ones that finally managed to flip our spawn camp on BG BL earlier tonight. It wasn’t really a huge thing in the grand scheme of things but I think considering how hard it was for everyone else to do, they deserve some recognition for getting in there.

i understand people always use double teaming as a liable strategy, but this is ridiculous. JQ/SOR have been working on double teaming EBG keep for almost 4 hours now. I think you guys are now just at it still just to salvage your pride at this point

BG and SOS have had longer stretches 2v1ing JQ.

but if it doesn’t end soon it could be a new record. not sure.
I think JQ was suppressed one friday night for over 5 hours.

I know i’ve seen BG/JQ get SOR and SOS both at one point or another, but only for an hour or two.

Not to mention SOR are being lapdogs to JQ at this point just so they can remain in tier 1.

I dont think there is anything to complain about, it took 2 of the best servers in the game throwing everything they had at us for hours together to cap. Its like taking 4 guys out in a 1v5. Ya you miss that last guy but you cant be happier.

JQ+SoR Vs BG+SoS! Blue is the new Red.

70 man zergs from any server are literally game breaking. This game is bad enough with the way assets load and how the servers are cheap and underfunded. Please try to refrain from running in a group larger than 40.

There is no single guild that really fields larger numbers than 40, but let’s all be honest here: If you murder ball with, quite literally, 70-90 players, you are not talented and you are breaking the game for anyone who wants to enjoy it. Culling is terrible for 20v20 and now you are multiplying that by 4?

Please think of the health of the game. If your intent is to make players quit so your server can be supreme, you may well be successful at that, but you may be killing the WvW population of this game. Tell me how much fun you will have when you have no one to fight.

I’m not calling out individuals or guilds, just giving you all something to think about. Laugh all you want, but you will be killing your own fun soon enough if guilds continue to merge together and form mega-zergs because they are not willing to fight against even numbers, breaking the game in the process.

Why complain about it? Revel in the fact that it took them that long double-teaming the keep to actually take it, with outer walls like swiss cheese and zero supply.

Yeah I am a guardian….. Skill lag was too great. I could move barely and I think one was going off :P Then again… I was standing between the SoR zerg and the JQ zerg… So you know….

SOR is a fine server with a lot of great players. They do extremely well in T1 considering they don’t have half the non-NA players JQ and BG have.

We didnt go in there to take stuff, but to find some good fights. Decided to leave after a couple of hours, since the smallest group of people to fight were 3-4 times our size.
