Sadly, they love your bags too much. Not that I can blame them. Points are nice but only as a by-product of actually fighting and having some fun. I guess they’re a sound thing to fall back on in a debate though. I mean, you don’t even have to go into how much PvDoor was involved or how many times you might’ve gotten wiped to no reply when they do have people on the map.
Heck, now that I think about it, I can’t say I run with TSym every day or anything, but with the exception of the first couple of early pokes at that T3 SMC the other day (which in fairness was a helluva defensive job even if focussing on that cost a lot more points on other maps, as is the fate of any world with SMC), I don’t actually remember the last time they wiped.
I ran with TSYM tonight they made you guys look like a bag dispensary 1 to 3 , 1 to 4 odds , that’s right 20 to 60 they wiped the floor with you guys , no wonder they are moving, looking for a challenge , your tactics were NOTHING. ……….You made three mistakes. First, you took the job. Second, you came light – a seventy -man crew for TSYM? Feaking’ insulting. But the worst mistake you made, DB/Yaks… that’s right. Empty gun rack.
Given the change to Epidemic, I wouldn’t be surprised to see the same happen to Dragon’s Tooth at some point.
In their defence though, they take it seriously and play at 100% whether they’re fighting 20 or 100. It was just a shame that it seemed like a lot of the opposition mapped out around the time we took Garrison back off of Yak’s making it a bit much of a pasting for anyone left behind who was serious about defending.
I also wouldn’t feel sorry for us. We’ve had more fun in T2/3 than we were having in T1. The only downside is sometimes, with no offence intended, the quality of the opposition isn’t the same. You don’t have room for mistakes in T1 and you certainly can’t kitten around. That made it rather stressful at times rather than fun, especially with the politics on top of all of that. It’s just a shame that at this level there does seem to be an active mentality amongst some folks that if they’re having a hard time on one map they should just go to another. It is extremely disappointing because taking the path of least resistance and not learning from your mistakes will not make you a better player.
Why can’t you guys just work together to find a way to beat TSym rather then work around them?

It could be the removal of culling that results in you seeing a lot more people than before. I’m sure there are much bigger zergs in other servers/tiers.

Yeah, last week i threw bout three forths my money into wvw either upgrading or on seige, might need to run some more cof for a bit.

I am talking about NA prime time guilds. NNK-o’clock and TFV-timezone is a totally different time then NA prime time. During this time we que on all four maps it is DB prime time. NA time is our weaker time if not weakest time.

As some one from Yaks bend who plays with a buddy during DB prime time, there is no map we can go to that we are not seriously outnumbered by DB. Your main zerg may go from map to map claiming everything but there are more then enough to stop us from doing anything on all 4 maps. Not your fault, just the way the matches happen to be right now
Personally, at the times I play (Between 12pm-6pm) we (DB) are usually outnumbered by yaks if I am not running with my guild. NOT saying that my guild causes the numbers to switch I just think it is all a personal thing. I’m sure at those times maybe in a different BG someone on DB is running with a huge zerg. Large zergs happen on all servers. The recurring argument over who covers what times and who has crappy tactics and who outnumbers each other is pointless. We all know what the game offers. It is what it is.

A lot of people don’t have a flexible enough schedule to play at all points of the 24 hour cycle, so they don’t really get to see the population coverage shifts. But for this particular match-up in T3 they are some of the most pronounced I have ever seen since the game came out.
Until recently SoS had overwhelming Oceanic numbers, able to put the outmanned buff on DB and YB on all four maps(but more often only three maps) for a few hours. With AFS and others having left(?) SoS, that time block is now more evenly matched.
DB of course owns the SEA time block.
Euro time block is a ghost town for all three servers where literally a single group can take keeps and what not. It feels like YB comes on an hour or two earlier(more east coast NA players perhaps) in slightly stronger numbers than the other servers, and is sometimes able to gain some ground. But there is relative parity for the most part.
NA primetime is an interesting area. All three servers during various days of the week are able to mount fairly significant PPT leads(400ish) depending on which of the major guilds are in WvW in force. YB currently seems the most hungry and driven server during this time block. But averaged across all days it is fairly even in terms of point gain, with a slight edge to YB during the weekend, less so during the weekdays.

I realize full we’ll what I type. If you think my entire post was bashing you guys, you sir need some thicker skin. There was not a “splash” of “who cares” about TYSM in my post, that was the entirety of it.
As for the other SoS guilds, they are not mentioned in 2/3 of the thread posts for the last two weeks. If you are leaving, go on and go. I tire of hearing about you.

For the past two weeks we have all play defense for most of the time.
You guys really don’t belong in this tier. WvW right now its a joke.

Tken I’m not sure how long you’ve been around. Until SoS came into our tier, we got 2nd place 6 weeks in a row to Kain, FA and TC. During that time DB may have had a good enough night presence to keep us in 2nd, but we were completely outnumbered for most of the rest of the day.
tl;dr: We’ve played against T2 servers and got wholluped.
tl;dr2: Jump on DB BL at midday weekdays and see just how many DB you can find. I bet it takes you 30 minutes to find 10 people.
I have no reason to lie. I’m not part of a big guild, and I’m telling you that DB keeps losing its BL while I’m on, and I keep dying. Not exactly self-flattering remarks.

Might I suggest when you all try to recruit in the future, that your mouths coincide with your capabilities
as a commander during (my Time) 8:00am to 4:00pm trying to gather a zerg or even muster a force almost feels impossible some days are better than others and some day are literally the crappers saying that DB has numbers ever where is an understatement or has major force moving to map to map DB motto will always remain to “Hold The Line” during the day in till evening crew and night crew can show up and save our kittens
