I’m guessing it would depend on how much of an attempt at real tactics takes place. it seemed to me last night that both HOD and NSP were essentially running karma trains with little to no desire to hold and fortify, at least when I’m playing. Either that or badge, and not points, hunting.

NSP (lots of Os, but others there as well) made an effort to defend both GoM garrison and GoM hills last night. Not sure what map you were on, but we had some good fights in GoM BL.

In Short HoD, even with its new transfers, still has alot of work to do before we come a valid T6 contender

I forget if it was me or not. but it sounds like something I would do…

I saw the toy staff, but when I target you, I don’t see an Arah headpiece, but instead a wrap that I don’t recognize. Anyway I like the wrap, just wondered what it was. (Hope I’ve got the right player: Os ele, commander, fond of GoM Hills).

Protip: The ele that has been around for months will be the best looking character of all time (so I would not wear a mask) with the golden title. Also, you will almost never see me with consumable buffs.

Yeah. These matches were far more enjoyable when populations were more evenly matched. Another big fail for Anet for allowing all of the transfers. Getting flashbacks to a few months back of being outmanned by servers with larger WvWvW populations and long days of spawn camping by the population bloated enemies. And to think…I was just feeling good about coming back to WvWvW the last few weeks.

Meh. Grats on your influx of server mates. I guess this game really is all about numbers.

The complete reversal in the competitiveness of this particular bracket came – conveniently – at the same time that server transfers were opened. So, great! Enjoy your new found leetness. Just don’t kid yourself into thinking that your new found prowess has anything to do with anything other than your new population. Grats!

Wow, thats a lot of animosity. I think people who point that out are just saying that HoD did win the week before transfers by a few thousand as well, but I agree you can certainly chock up the 20k+ lead to the influx of people, but ranks will stabalize again in time and everyone will get new, good matchups.

Having played in the top two tiers for a few months, I can tell you that any server in T7 would get completely crushed. In large part because of the huge population differences, but also because of large organized wvw guilds. Their members may be scrubs on their own, but when 50 people are all on voice comms together, it will generally roll over a pug zerg quite easily. It was quite common to see 200-300 people on the SoR server teamspeak all WvW’ing.

I think SF will powerhouse through this tier and they shouldn’t be under estimated.
You all remember Kaineng right?
Well its probably the same deal, but without War Machine.

Neighbor servers are all really quite similar, and if SF is roflstomping only a tier below us? Then they’ll either be equal or greater than us.

HoD is clearly stronger than it used to be, thats plenty of evidence to show of what a bit of time and a few xfers can do.

And trust me, SF will be getting those transfers too, since people uptop will be thinking Kaineng 2.0 easy month of win and Wexp.

SF will not see anything close to the influx of large, organized guilds that Kaineng had.

Oh, no, don’t get me wrong, I LOVE fighting NSP. I’m a little sad that TCMM transferred, but at least I can still fight them on GoM. I used to play Aion with Ronny Raygun, so it’s fun to see how my guild compares. xD I also really like fighting Os and TFG…there haven’t been many other NSP guilds that stick out to me. Aside from the Quebec ones, who, while not intimidating, I will kill on sight.

I don’t think he meant that. Most of us were destroyed by Kaineng not so long ago and they got stronger with each tier they crushed and they are still stuck in tier 2.

A) We did take Garrison 20 mins after that picture as taken.
B) We came in from both sides for the lol’s as a competition which side can get to inner gates first. Os side (east) won by like 10 seconds!
C) We enjoyed facerolling you each time we lured you outside your precious walls

And it’s devout. It’s not the full arah set skins, but it’s what people can recognize as arah.

It;s usually good fights in this tier. People would give up/flame more often in our previous tier. Just as a general observation people in this tier seem to care a lot more about actual in game combat. Which is nice to see.

2. they could have easily 2 shot me.

What you said either means that you have a very poor memory, or you don’t WvW. If you run with TCMM, wiping the NPCs in a camp doesn’t count as rolling NSP.

What TCMM does is zerg, there is nothing around that fact. They party up with their friends, not caring what their builds are, or how they work together in combat, and they put half of the players in golem suits (I guess their builds don’t really matter at this point) and try to run into Bay, but fail more often than not. There are literally 0 tactics behind what you guys are doing, and I would personally be ashamed and embarrassed to even be in that guild, let alone to have pride after being shamed off of NSP, but going to a server that TCMM was once, already shamed off of.

Fighting HoD is like Night of the Living Dead. Outmanned, we noble NSP few defended Aldons against wave after wave for at least 25 minutes. Like zombies, HoD doesn’t seem to value their lives much. They just toss bodies into our keep’s mortor range, stand on AoE, leave walls alone. I think their philosophy was to tire out our fingers by giving us so many downed players to finish off. I musta killed 40+. Bags EVERYWHERE. Red arrows covering the ground outside Aldons. But they just kept coming, running back to die at the gate. Again and again. Wave after wave. Good times. Eventually the tower fell, but man was it fun. Exactly like a good zombie flick.

I must have gotten a couple hundred NSP kills tonight between the failed golem rush at SM and the hour long defense of Aldon’s. They eventually took it, but a couple people claimed to have gotten 2 rank ups before they did.

I think you got it backwards my friend. I didn’t die once in Aldons while you guys perished in droves. I know HoD is partial to glass cannon builds, but man alive do y’all go down fast. We pushed you back to Rogues four times by my count. It was only cuz we had zero supply and no camps that Aldons fell.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it were…they’re part of HoD’s alliance that I tend to call the “answer everything with a zerg” alliance. Forego strategy for larger numbers. Now, if it were VLK or GT or LK you were fighting, I’m not so sure though “noble few” would have persisted.

Well I can only say HoD and GoM caught NSP at a very bad time. GoM started attacking Jerrifer right in the middle on my golem rush so it divided us very quickly. With HoD taking Aldon’s side and the fact I had drained the keep supplies….let’s just say I’ve created a very bad scenario for us. Sorry NSP, I screwed up. We made it to SM lord room without opposition just to see HoD appear at I would guess an SM timer reset.

Was sort of funny watching HoD send wave after wave to their death at Mendons. I got over 600 kills from our little mendon fun.

Here’s how it looked from my point of view.

40 HoD come walking up to the bridge part of mendons acting all tough because theres 40 of them… And then……..“OH CRAP They jumped!! run back to keep!!!!” Wipe after wipe after wipe <3 thanks for the 2 stacks of badges.
