BG came hard and fast during the previous match up, and held the leading score until the last 2 days.

Judging by the score now, is BG running out of steam, after burning themselves out in the 1st week?

Burnout? Naw. People are taking it easy so far though. Last week was pretty intense right to the last day and a little rest is necessary sometimes.

We aren’t burntout, just not treating the game like it’s a second job. Tha’ts the reason we from SoS came to bg, to have a strong server and still do well without having to play so long that we get tired of the game. Beating the infinite numbers jq has will not be easy, and we’re not gonna burn ourselves out in order to do that. There have been some good fights too, SoR are really fun to fight against.

There were some big expectations of the new BG, especially after many used GEMS to transfer. I have no doubt many pushed hard and fast last week and while burnout is a factor it’s not the deciding one.

In any event, call me on this later and I will happily eat my words but I don’t believe BG will get better from here. Using SoS as an example, if a certain % are not guaranteed a win with a degree of work required then their likelihood to perform will be much less.

With respect to the BG originals, I’m sure you give 110% each week and I admire the community you have formed, it made many people want to join your server.

I was there when those three towers flipped in small amount of time, and he took one of our tower too. Just report this to Anet if you have screenshot or footage of hacking.

You can always file a proper complaint ticket and provide screenshots. Have you even read the rules of conduct in this forum?

Also, if you witness suspected behavior in game that could be violations of the in-game Rules of Conduct, please do not post these reports on the forum, as we’ll have to remove them. Any in-game misbehavior should be reported via the in-game report tool or through the ticketing system to our Customer Support Team with all required details such as screenshots, videos etc… Both methods will help.

Having last weeks game ninja’d has disheartened a few I just hope Anet perma-bands those involved for killing the legitimacy of wvw again.

Just venting that the SOR I’m coming across this week are exhibiting the worst sportsman I’ve seen. Clean up the behavior please SOR. Learn some manners… that is all.

btw… for the overly exaggerated conversation of our coverage on JQ. Presently, we have one map at a full queue. Our numbers are not the only reason we’re good.

With the recent guild transfers to BG, coverage-wise (as in around the clock coverage), my opinion is that BG is better than JQ. JQ has 2 time zones that their coverage are excellent – NA and SEA. JQ is rather weak or average in oceanic and euro time zone. BG, on the other hand, has above average or excellent coverage in NA, oceanic, SEA, and euro.

Agg, foe, atac, etc solidify their already above average NA coverage. Merc, probably the biggest oceanic guild, with 500 members, is a huge boost to their oceanic coverage. And I dare say, they might have the best oceanic out of all NA servers (if not 1st then maybe 2nd to SOS). ND was a good addition to their SEA coverage. Without RG and votf (heard they went back to EU server), HB, which is now the best euro guild in NA server, controls the euro time zone.

You’d be surprised how much outmanned buffs we get on most of the borderlands. I’ve actually asked my guildmates about it, how they are able to get as much points as they have and take towers despite having the seemingly lack of people.

If BG is outmanned in NA time zone on all maps, the question should not be about coverage but why Agg, foe, atac, knt, etc are not in wvw fighting. Like I said earlier, around the coverage-wise, BG has guilds (not PUGs) to fill the maps.

I’m not from NA, in fact I rarely play during NA primetime and so I speak in regards to my timeslot and bl where we almost always have the outmanned buff .

Anyway in other news, lest i risk getting Noctis overfed, I think I’ve never encountered a guild that garners so much fear as FOO. O_O It was very impressive how strong this guild is. Kudos to FOO.

I don’t think the score at present really reflects JQs "scare"last week as much as it reflects BGs morale this week. Alot of JQ were pretty casual about last week and were happy if we lost first place last week to BG because it provided some competition. As a few people said, “lets not lose any sleep over this, we are likely to be fighting them for a fair few weeks now”.

Obviously not all of us had the same attitude. I put in only couple of extra hours over the course of the week. I think its important not to see WvW as a duty and I think alot of JQ players know this and is a big reason JQ has been a stable server for pretty much since the start of GW2 WvW.

Anyways, Im out, time to go farm some more PvE!

We had a few of them on SoR as well. Kinda comical, I guess that’s a downside to guesting. There will always be trolls in MMOs, and more so in server based PvP ones.

I will agree that BG has around the clock coverage, yes.

JQ has one guild in particular that is either huge as hell or pulls 12 hour shifts a night, FOO. JQ better hope that guild never leaves them or they will drop like an anchor in an ocean. Why do I say this? They span from Oceanic to Euro.

No offense to any of the guilds on JQ btw.

Also, MERC HAD 500 members, that doesn’t mean all of them transferred, nor does it mean all of those were even active.

I think the burnout for me would be less intense if I could spend the WvW badges on ascended gear. Hopefully this next patch delivers.

I’ve been so enjoying our bg forums lately, and I didn’t even realize why. No more Raven QQ. Then I come and read this thread and the last…. Still getting double teamed Raven? What guild are you in now? Just so that I can think to myself, hey, maybe I just defeated Raven. And then I will smile.

Oh, and on the bgbl being green all day note…yeah we had a queue there all day…but a lot of people were afk in very weird out of the way places…not sure what that was about….but I guess it was their $60 and they can play (or not play) the game how they want.

Way to go name calling. I was on BG for some time before joining sos. Many from my guild joined BG along with the rest of the transfers there. The post you quoted of mine was when I was watching their progress while I was waiting to be able to transfer with them. How that makes me a troll I don’t understand (I mean do you eve know what a troll is?).

I don’t think the score at present really reflects JQs "scare"last week as much as it reflects BGs morale this week. Alot of JQ were pretty casual about last week and were happy if we lost first place last week to BG because it provided some competition. As a few people said, “lets not lose any sleep over this, we are likely to be fighting them for a fair few weeks now”.

Obviously not all of us had the same attitude. I put in only couple of extra hours over the course of the week. I think its important not to see WvW as a duty and I think alot of JQ players know this and is a big reason JQ has been a stable server for pretty much since the start of GW2 WvW.

Anyways, Im out, time to go farm some more PvE!

Casual players don’t feel the need to cheat and if JQ were looking for competition they would not have. As far as stability if i remember right JQ was the legacy server first to fill and so even if the game dies you should still have players.(like the is it fat boy server in swtor)

Even before this weeks match started, we on Blackgate said that we expected JQ to win with 50-70K points this week. It has nothing to do with BG getting burned out, but us returning to our normal schedules instead of pulling out double shifts.

Ya, dont want BG to turn into SOS burning themselves out trying to fight a bloated JQ. You can only fight JQ’s coverage for so many weeks before it gets to you. Its amazing what BQ did last week vs jq numbers but doing that every week can tear a server apart

With the recent guild transfers to BG, coverage-wise (as in around the clock coverage), my opinion is that BG is better than JQ. JQ has 2 time zones that their coverage are excellent – NA and SEA. JQ is rather weak or average in oceanic and euro time zone. BG, on the other hand, has above average or excellent coverage in NA, oceanic, SEA, and euro.

Agg, foe, atac, etc solidifies their already above average NA coverage. Merc, probably the biggest oceanic guild, with 500 members, was a huge boost to their oceanic coverage. And I dare say, they might have the best oceanic out of all NA servers (if not 1st then maybe 2nd to SOS). ND was a good addition to their SEA coverage. Without RG and votf (heard they went back to EU server), HB which is now the best euro guild in NA server controls the euro time zone.

You’d be surprised how much outmanned buffs we get on most of the borderlands. I’ve actually asked my guildmates about it, how they are able to get as much points as they have and take towers despite having the seemingly lack of people.

If BG is outmanned in NA time zone on all maps, the question should not be about coverage but why Agg, foe, atac, knt, etc are not in wvw fighting. Like I said earlier, around the coverage-wise, BG has guilds (not PUGs) to fill the maps.

I’m not from NA, in fact I rarely play during NA primetime and so I speak in regards to my timeslot and bl where we almost always have the outmanned buff .

Anyway in other news, lest i risk getting Noctis overfed, I think I’ve never encountered a guild that garners so much fear as FOO. O_O It was very impressive how strong this guild is. Kudos to FOO.

I’ve only been in BG for a couple of days yes, but I’ve played against JQ and SoR for a long time now. I’m not new to T1 lol. As for me, I won’t condone bad behavior, teammate or not. It’s your prerogative to do so, however it just makes you look just as bad as the person who whines and throws baseless accusations against SOR instead of following the rules of conduct regarding issues on exploitations imposed on the forums.

BG is fun to fight against. You never know when your enemy is going to discover skills that Anet didnt give them while they hide in towers and camps from 5mans begging the mindless zergs to come chase us.

Only exception seems to be EA. Dunno if that is a common-held mindset, just my anecdotal experience.

Someone from SOR most likely has a spy on BG building random trebs to use up supply. Durios is currently under attack by SOR— they built a treb and are now firing off at sm despite the fact that we have catas hitting Durios. Pretty lame of you SOR. I had allot of respect for you guys and I know one person doesn’t represent all of your server, but cheating to win is a big dent in your cred from my perspective.

This is how kitten crap gets started… I was on one of those cata’s hitting durios. Our teamspeak group was discussing how amusing it is that the treb operator is still hitting sm and not turning it.

BUT of course you jump straight to the conclusion that is must be an SOR spy… sigh

Great fights all around today. JQ refuses to give our Garrison back! We get in and wipe wave after wave and we just until we can’t anymore. Good fighting!
