Yeah, EB does seem to be about TC vs KN for the most part. I’ve seen SOME FA there, but they mostly stick to their corner. BL is where FA really shines…

I’m PST prime, in RE – but I’m one of our late night crew members with Diaverse. Generally prime being PST 9pm-1am or 1:30ish ish. Maps I think we went EB > Kain > FA > Kain > Kain > Kain > EB … may have mixed up a night there.

I see it’s a timing thing. I would normally miss the BT (except early over the weekends), and RET I have seen, with many PRO and others … but not a RET guild zerg.

Hell my guilds prime lines up with you guys 4pm pst start. But I miss that too.

Reason I brought it up, was I enjoyed a number of those clashes, but they seemed to dissipate over the week (from timing, makes sense… we all have work, or I guess school for the youngins). The majority of the mid-week battles I remember battling KH and PiNK, along with many mixed groups. So I’m guessing those 2v1 tag team scenarios that were a hot topic were earlier than my prime? Sorry I wasn’t computing how the forum talks were versus my gaming experience through out the week.

Regardless I have enjoyed the battles all week from both servers.

I would say most of the TC is anti-troll and is quiet disappointed (to be polite) in those who decided that trolling was the best way to go about things. Even though I wasn’t a part of it, I want to say sorry aways, trolling is never cool, especially against a server we had an awesome, friendly rivalry against (which I do hope we can go back to).

On a different note, besides the trolling, it has been an awesome match week. Kudos to KN for its win and FA for being awesome opponents.

Regardless I have enjoyed the battles all week from both servers.

I feel like a lot of FA’s N/A guild presence is east coast. BT is probably logging off for the night when you log on and I think RET runs primarily as a guild during EST prime but as the day goes on it turns into more of a mix of RET/militia. I feel like RET has a pretty strong militia core too (i.e. guys that roll with RET on a nightly basis but aren’t in RET), which is great because FA has been really making a hard push to integrate guild and militia over the last month or so, so the mixes your seeing are partially intentional and partially a result of time zone issues I think. Stay up late enough though and you get to go against our Oceanics like AVTR, uA, and PRO.

During the week….timezone issues just become more pronounced since people have to work/school and can’t stay up late.

I do get to see and battle some PRO guys on multiple maps but not on late enough to see team sized groups – just the old d/d ele’s here and there (guess the early folks), always enjoy the fights with them. Since way back in the day.

This! Also the match finishing all within 30k from each other is a photo finish as far as WvW is concerned. Thank you for the week of fighting, and here is to another week starting tonight!

Probably going to fall on deaf ears – but to call FA a troll server is hilarious to me. I’ve been on FA from the beginning, and even before we got to be more of a force in WvW, I always found FA players to be nice, determined, and willing to take orders. Sure, there are people out for blood. And we certainly have some servers we dislike more than others, but I have a very very low tolerance for trolls, and I experience seeing them on a rare basis (which I quickly ignore).

Same could be said of TC – I don’t actually know how you guys are in-game – I just wish you the same acknowledgement of us.

And Kain – you guys are like “Hey guys! Remember us? Yeah, we’re the guys kicking your kitten HELLO!” lol. Good fights (although I’ve had severely limited WvW time lately – I hope to change that)

I think part of transitioning from tier 3 to tier 2 is figuring out how to kill alot •and• get ppt at the same time. If you kill people enough, they stop coming back. On that note…an I the only one who really loves reset? I look forward to it all day!

Since the dust seems to have settled a bit, I want to offer a perspective from the bleacher seats. I have barely been able to play this past week due to r/l stuff. Though I have avidly followed our battle from reading here. Fortunately I am already a devotee of WvW. Because if I were someone in our PvE communities considering trying out WvW and trying to talk my guild-mates into jumping into WvW I would run in the opposite direction, if this past couple of days posts were all I had to go on.

Mind you I am just a plain old PuG, a little no body that has no inside knowledge of whatever server grudges and politics surrounding all of the past days… vitriol and dare I say pettiness. I am simply trying to do my best to learn how to become a better player in WvW. I came from a purely PvE background and fell in love with this style of PvP that GW2 provided. The very same as many folks watching and reading about this interesting and challenging world of WvWvW. We should ask ourselves if what has been displayed is representative of the reality?

When actually playing in the BL’s I have never run across the childish displays I’ve seen in here. I have had my hat handed to me by so many players from both FA and TC, and each time it’s been a fun battle and I learn something with each spike through the head. FA and TC, you’re both great servers and fun loving communities with so many great guilds that are the best kind of teachers. The ones that teach the hard lessons that in my experience are the ones that stay with you. I can’t imagine sneering at someone that will participate in helping me to become a better player and always shows up for the lessons. Dang guys! We are so lucky here in T2 to have such able competition! Don’t whiz in our own well.. since it poisons the water for yourselves too.

As we begin this next week of our tiers competition I am asking each of you and myself included to remember, lots of folks are paying attention and instead of showing how snarky we can be, let’s show them what WvW really is. Brutal, hard, epic fights full of amazing groups of people and great guilds all working hard for their servers. I already know FA and TC for the tough, respectable and honorable competitors you are on the battlefield. How about we all show those folks that don’t play WvW yet and those who might be considering making one of our fine communities their new home our real side, instead of a bunch of pointless squabbling that hurts us all.

Seriously, WvW is nothing without players. The PvE player that might be interested in WvW could be reading our match threads. Trolls feeding each other is not what WvW is about. Let us keep our meta WvW community healthy and bring more players into the Mists. More players equals more killing. Everyone wins.

You are one of the many players in Kaineng server who help make it strong as it is. Stepping through the gate, regardless of tag… and helping your server out in any way you can. You sir, are most humble, and a big somebody.

Somewhere way back months ago, while going through and getting used to Kaineng, I believe Jang Gun wrote it best, and lives up to this day.

“The true power of Kaineng is not with the organized guilds, but with our PuGs”

Something like that. We have many players who play and may not want to be in the larger guilds. This is absolutely okay. If you are willing to come into the WvW, and want to learn, the commanders will try there best to help each person (not just guildmates) improve.

As far as I know, there weren’t any Kaineng there for the parade. You came from the east side, all the DOLYs were on the west end. If you attacked Kaineng they may have just been randoms.
