Well, I had fun. Thought they did pretty good all in all. Been a while since I’ve had to kamikaze anything. I was the [YUMI] Thief who kept probing our Garrison you were holding onto quite tightly. Killzone was pretty impressive too I might add. Tried desperately to get that treb down you had on the supply hut. Thought I had it too, but your fellow up there manning it thought quickly and used knockback to shove me off there into the somewhat stupefied masses below. So AR just doesn’t seem to learn… Again BP turns our eyes back towards ebay… we take everything in EBAY BL, we take SM(to downgrade it, and let AR have it…) and what does AR do? instead of hitting ebay, which is already being stomped in their BL, the start to hit the BP corner in EB.

This is why Ebay is winning this tier. not because they are that good, or have a greater primetime population.. because AR never attacks them. And it’s not like AR doesn’t have the bodies for it, these early monring they have a 30-40 man zerg running around trying to take our towers.. instead of just using that zerg to hit the outmanned ebay.

Why do you kids fear them so much?

Don’t you understand, that this could be a much better tier, with much better fights if we bring ebays score more in lined with the rest of ours?

7) Lastly….Arch, while a fair commander, is a tool. Kalkz is half troll, half over-confident, and Pestilence/Evilzara are 2 of the best we have. In all honesty, if you see Burn, your best option is running.

Running? We love fighting burn, when they are on the map we have a chance to be wiped and that is what we are looking for. You guys still don’t understand Ehmry even after all these weeks. If we were losing but having great fights(wins and losses) we’d be happy to sit in 3rd place forever, but in this tier you get very few fights you can actually lose in the open, and most of our time is spent pounding on a wall that as soon as it goes down the enemy runs out the other side to the next keep or tower.

Wrong. You don’t give enough credit to Imtl, CoS, SWAT, Para, HIGH, PUNK, CLAW, and the numerous other medium/small guilds that have good synergy on this server. We respect each other here, work well together, and talk to eachother. Most of us are together on a Teamspeak that isn’t gathering dust and averages ~250 players during prime time (even if a bunch aren’t in WvW, they can still be called to arms). One of our best WvW resets was when only they were present in home borderlands without a “big three” guild. Those guys are good.

I don’t know enough about BP guilds to say that its guilds couldn’t do the same without a larger guild in the borderlands backing them up with numbers, but these guys can. The best part of it is that they aren’t pugs, and EBay isn’t all that like Borlis Pass. Guest to Lion’s Arch for a little while like another classy commander on these forums did, and you’ll see that.

It’s also kind of weird you mention our lack of portal bombs, stealth tactics, etc etc. We were doing plenty of it when we first moved into the tier and it turned into a festival of complaints on the forums about how that’s all we knew how to do when it worked. Now that we’re practicing other tactics while we can, we aren’t up to par on our skill apparently. Just an interesting observation.

If we took your most organized guild and your largest guild from your server.. would you be dangerous anymore? Kind of a silly point to make there.

FTF and Rekz are as big a part of Ehmry now as GH, PK, and all the other roaming groups and folks who round out our crew. GH in particular has 3 or 4 commanders who make a huge difference in wvw, but they don’t get enough credit. We clawed our way up from tier 7 in pretty much the same group of guilds, we had some fairweathers who joined along the way and then left, and SM guild left for magumma breaking our hearts… but for the most part we are the same guilds who were in tier 7, we just worked on it and stuck together.

I agree with Faux. I think a big thing we have going for us is definitely the community in general. Most of us are addicts and regulars, and most quite seasoned at that. As I’ve stated before, I can typically name off many of those on during my timeslot. I know them and see them pretty much everyday.

Oddly enough, it seems to me even our pugs and Daily-folks aren’t a terribly bad lot either. Most of them need very little in the way of pushing when it comes to getting in there and doing what they’re supposed to. They usually get in, and get to the Commanders straight away. It’s only when there are no Commanders present that they tend to panic in a “oh gawd, we’re all gonna die! D’X” fashion. Which doesn’t happen very often anyway. When it does, the rest of us are kind of like, "guys, most of us here are pretty straight on what’s going on… <.<; "

FTF didn’t transfer, they’ve stuck it out here since the beginning too. They were also the first other guild to make a move to the public Teamspeak which pretty much spawned the wave of activity we see today. Love those guys.

Before paid transfers, we hit a peak of rank 11. When we hit rank 11 the first time, we had

• Blood Pact [BP] – DB night time
• [HIRE] – Also DB night
• [ToFu] – Also DB night
• The Shadowmoon [SM] – Maguuma
• The Totally Dead [TTD] – Now [YUM] on Yaks and [STRM] on Maguuma
• [RP] – Maguuma

Basically, we hit our peak when Dragonbrand’s current night time presence and some major Maguuma guilds were on EBay. The next time we hit rank 11 was AFTER paid transfers and the absence of all these players. The only transfer I can think of that we got since then was [Sekz], and they didn’t join us until we were rank 12 again and on the decline.

Say what you will, but calling EBay a transfer server and all of its guilds bad except for FTF/Sekz when they have more cooperation/coordination than any other server in this tier is an excuse for losing. You don’t want to justify your losses as being less skilled (hardly any loser on this forum does that). Everyone has it in their head that they are the outnumbered little guys putting up a great resistance, fighting twice as hard than anyone else. We were outplayed when we were losing, and you’re being outplayed right now.

I can assure you we are not afraid of EBay, we just go where we feel like honestly. In fact, we love fighting EBay. We play to have fun, and they give us the most fun fights. I can’t speak for all the AR guilds but we do not shy away from a fight.

Thanks but you’re not giving enough credit to those guilds who man our borderlands all the time(mostly by our small to medium sized guilds). That almost solid defense at our home bl..FTF wasn’t responsible for that. Our guild is usually on the offense. Then there’s GH and pK. These 2 big guilds raid almost everyday keeping our ppt high!

Ehmry Bay still got to tier 4 even after 4 major guilds left the server and even before Sekz came We got there by getting an almost 100k lead in this tier. When we fought borlis pass the first time after coming from tier 4, we lost because we thought that we’re going to get another easy win.Before the reset starts for that week, just for lols, we talked about getting the 3 biggest guilds in ehmry bay attack dr bl at reset since they were second the last time we fought them.BP was really out of the picture so we didn’t send anyone there. The following week, we didn’t underestimate bp anymore so yeah we never lost again.

If all you want are good open field battles, then stay out of our keeps and towers?

Id sadly agree with you about creative strategy and tactics. This is an area I personally think we could improve upon. I’ve seen some good progress being made already on BP in terms of tactics and am proud to follow a commander who is learning and implementing a lot of good tactics more and more, and its working unless we are greatly outnumbered. (and against EB that’s just how it is all too often).

That brings me to my final point. You don’t want us to take up defensive positions in towers and keeps, and bash us for not getting into open field combat more, but seriously you have to know that you all far more often than not have numbers on us. And sometimes by a lot. It doesn’t always seem like the smartest idea to dive headfirst and get wiped and have no one left to defend our towers. And if you are rushing our keeps with overwhelming forces like you often do, of course we are going to head to your next obvious target and seige it up. Just don’t mistake that for cowardice, its more for survival at that point.

Facts please. I already posted evidence against the notion that AR ever puts you below 100ppt. Yes we hit you. You hit us. Its a 3 way match. Its going to happen. Its widely known that Eternal Battlegrounds in AR is left to the PuGs. Occasionally, we have guild commanders jump on and do what they can with the pugs they have, but the guilds and server organization have little to do with what happens there, and coincidentally that’s the only place your “evidence” came from.

You, however, put us at 55ppt for 8 hours, then chest thumped about it for 3 pages on the forums. In the past 5 weeks AR has constantly been spiked below 100ppt on our off hours, while, yet again, BP has only dropped below 100 ppt one time, on reset night, the week after you beat Ebay.

If you’re going to be talking trash on AR, I’d appreciate some evidence. Its my server, and I don’t take kindly to slander.

Edit: I’m sorry to hear about Plok leaving BP. He was a good CO and earned a lot of respect over our time against each other. As for GoM, Its sad what happened to your server. I for one still miss you guys.

I would love to see BP take an EBay keep during the day. But I have yet to see that. AR gives us bigger and better fights during the day than BP does btw. It’s like your server gets wiped and gives up until later. AR just keeps on going and going. Some people on our side laugh and call it badge farming, but there’s a lot of us who see it as a large group of people who aren’t giving up unlike another abnoxious group of players.

Night capping isn’t an issue. It’s how the game is played. The one time BP held a keep in our borderlands during the day was after being capped and upgraded by Kalkz in the middle of the night. That’s fine, no complaints there. Just all this showboating about night capping is getting old old old and tiring.

don’t have to take an ebay keep during the day, ebay has a higher population during the day, and primetime.. just looking to prove that?

I will repeat it for the umpteenth time. While we consider the night capping annoying, the reason for the complaint is how BP thinks it is necessary to chest thump for three pages about how awesome their golems are against doors after night capping.

There’s a reason why there’s a queue..to have a limit. I’m pretty sure you guys can queue up a borderland together with us during primetime so we have roughly the same numbers. I’ve never seen bp take and hold 2 of our keeps during prime time. BP BL last night, that was your home borderland..we had roughly the same numbers bp…

What I consider night capping is night capping. It’s your day but you’re on the NA servers, so it’s night for a vast majority of the players. I think it’s already pretty obvious that BP has the biggest night crew on this tier, which doesn’t mean much. When we have 20 players altogether spread through our maps, you don’t need many people to take stuff from them.

Also not sure why you are so adamant that AR doesn’t touch us. It’s like you have selective comprehension and anything we write saying otherwise just doesn’t make it past your eyes. AR spends more time in EBay borderlands than BP does. BP only harasses us in larger numbers. Take it from a homeland defender.

I thought last time queue data was released Borlis’ prime time was only an hour or two before ours, didn’t seem to affect last reset. Not sure what testpig is going on about, but whatever he is smoking I want some.

I would love to see BP take an EBay keep during the day. But I have yet to see that. AR gives us bigger and better fights during the day than BP does btw. It’s like your server gets wiped and gives up until later. AR just keeps on going and going. Some people on our side laugh and call it badge farming, but there’s a lot of us who see it as a large group of people who aren’t giving up unlike another abnoxious group of players.

Night capping isn’t an issue. It’s how the game is played. The one time BP held a keep in our borderlands during the day was after being capped and upgraded by Kalkz in the middle of the night. So with all the time AR is speading in EbayBL, why are they not accomplishing anything? And if they were truly spending all that time in EBayBL, wouldn’t they atleast have a supply camp, or tower, or even showing some troops to take a Keep while BP is keeping ebay very busy?

The reason you aren’t going to see a week where AR and BP team up on EBay is the same reason you haven’t up until now. All you need to do is watch AR’s BL in the first few minutes off reset. BP cannot seem to help themselves and races to ARBL like a fat man to a buffet while AR’s major guilds go for EBBL and pugs hit eternal. I can guarantee that you’ll see it again next reset as well. If you are unaware you, as a server do this, feel free to watch the map next reset. AR and BP don’t work together because BP cannot control themselves.

Why would AR attack Ebay when we want them is 2nd? And we don’t stab them in the back and cap there BL when everyone is sleeping. Hey AR, Ebay CAN control most of our selves. We do all use the same teamspeak.

I never said that AR attacks us constantly. I said AR attacks us more than BP does. They hold the same amount of land in our borderlands as BP does – a tower and some supply camps. Although, they do get into our inner keeps a bit more often. Without golems.

By the way, you forgot to attach your picture this time. It’s only been three (or four?) weeks that you’ve been peddling that gem. Maybe in another month or two someone might listen if we’re all still together.

Borlis started “bottom feeding” pretty quick once they were red.

feeding off the top didn’t work for, as the other server wasn’t attempting on top feeding as well.
