Transferring guilds is always a difficult and delicate process. Usually only the most tight knit guilds survive, especially when there is an underlying cost.

seems almost every guild in this game has transferred and survived. AGG and Foe are still around. MERC, RIOT, PRX, SF.. the list can get long fast.

Bg is not imploding. We are still having a good time and fighting hard. Its just people downtalking on BG for whatever reason as usual.

The amount of disrespect on these forums is incredible sometimes. BG, SoR and JQ all have fantastic guilds that work hard.

Two semi-small guilds from SOS that were only on the server a couple of weeks decided to move to Tier 8. Also, an important BG HB commander quit playing the game. That is all as far as I know. The server is fine.

I don’t understand why you’d be laughing considering you are on Blackgate yourself.

Although you do seem to enjoy wearing fake guild tags such as Strike Forces and building rams in our keeps.

Tsym are a great guild and the blame on them was manufactured by a podcast show. They are one of the reasons that SoS was so great more than anything else.

MERC is standing up for Tsym now!? I thought you guys hated them and left SOS because Tsym drove you off and not because you were bandwagoning? Are you guys going to go to SOR now since BG can’t win?

MERC has always held respect for TSym, and now we enjoy fighting them as an opponent when we get the opportunity. No matter how many times we’ve stated our reasoning, nobody has ever listened. The biggest reason why we left SoS for BG was because we wanted to find BALANCED coverage. On SoS, after SEA logged off, there was almost a 10 hour coverage gap, where the only guild online at that time was VoTF. In our eyes, that was unacceptable for a Tier 1 server.

Obviously the coverage picture looks different right now AFTER 1+ months of being here.

We aren’t going to SOR.

This^. If you weren’t on SoS there’s a good chance you don’t know jack all about how it went about. The first 2 guilds to jump ship first were AGG and FOE, go figure they jumped ship AGAIN off BG. Merc has always been a guild of great people but just wanted better fights since JQ was stacked so badly. JQ was just PvDooring entire maps on their asian time zone and euro time it was hard to take back since everything in SoS BL was T3.

If you wanted to know how it was before the huge transfers came in it was more or less each server, SBI, SoS, JQ all stacked all their players in their respective BL and map capped it with the exception that SoS owned Stonemist 90% of the time. SoS won most of the weeks SOLELY because of that. Back then no server was stacked, only people you should blame are the JQs that were busy building trebs in EB JP rather than trying to take SM because straight up JQ owned EB JP hands down 24/7.

BG hasnt gotten 1st place since then. Am i right to say that the SOS guilds that went over to BG have somewhat given up ? Seems like JQ will be no.1 for a very very long time lol

Hey, I feel the same way. We were running a 5 man havoc squad for the past couple of days, and had full zergs chase use down more times than I can count. I even had a SF zerg chase me across the half the map. Was it because I was an asura with a TW tag or was it because I kept staying tantalizingly within reach?

For the life of me, I do not understand why people still complain that they are being 2v1’d. Even if SoR were to try and work with JQ, the second we turned our back, they would stick a knife it it. We would be out fighting BG and they would be in our beds sleeping with our spouses.

Ever since your push, BG has been in a slow and steady decline (that graph made earlier in the thread proves that much). You blew your wad and now you burned out a lot of your players. Everyone warned you guys what would happen but you just sat there on your high pedestal and said it would never happen to your server. Well, guess what?

Jeeee, The JQ night force is so kitten deadly, you guys get like crazy bloodlust. We had to force a everyone possible, except NYS in EBG into SoR BL to hold you off from bay for as long as possible. Shame I wont be awake for the rest of the fight, early work

Also massive sympathy for BG, (no not cause the dying lies, BG held strong today, so no. please stop, I also ask any SoR ppl still commenting on that to please stop. It is really upsetting to see servers crush, and even WORSE when external people are trying to force it. What will happen if BG drops? TC or Kain come up? Do you think we will enjoy t1 if that happens? BG will be able to beat either of those servers going by past records. kitten BG! We tried to rush to your garrison literally, no joke. Just to wipe JQ so you could hold garri for longer, so we could get the rest of their force occupied there for longer. Tactical reasons. Also in hopes to reduce JQ’s ppt.

In case BG drop a tier, TC?KN?, Both been lost to BG before (even before we received SoS guilds) by miles. Yes may be BG coverage drops recently but TC/KN coverage is no where near BG. TC lacks SEA and KN lacks NA (Both lacks EU as well). They’re arent going to surprise you or provide you with better competition than what BG try their best to provide you here.

SoR win BG now? Congrat, Good for them. I’m glad finally they start picking up their pace and i’m looking forward for the day SoR can take a win from JQ too.

Now this isnt really a race for first anymore. (Since JQ has way too many people compared to BG/SoR) It’s a race for survival. (Because WvW patch already been implemented) Which servers that are able to retain most guilds participation/WvW interest will win in months to come.

See this is why we can’t have nice things. JQ was it really necessary to destroy literally every possible opening in Bay leaving it in rubble when you had the force to just man mode the front door? lol x.x The long dramatic pause before the final rush was just showing off too. As exciting as it was to exhaust everything we had to try and hold like we were reenactment of 300 (sorry old pun i know). Wasn’t exactly how I planned my first hour upon waking up, really appreciate that lol. All in fun though good job and You know we don’t plan on letting you hold onto that for too long so get ready, The Rallians are all pumped up now!
