Just in case you are curious, it is this exact holier than thou attitude portrayed in this post that originally instigated the intense distaste that FA developed for TC all those weeks ago in T3. Good to know somethings don’t change. Portraying this as a one sided grudge match and making it seem like the hate isn’t mutual and discussed on both sides of the conflict is just ridiculous. Way to keep it classy TC, why don’t you throw up some more SS from our forums, cause that is a really classy move.

I think some of the TC jokes on your forums are hilarious. My point was neither forum has any super-secret private info that needs to be protected from prying eyes.

As far as who posts what on which forum. Anyone who’s interested (which totals maybe 5 people at this point) go read the respective community forums. See for yourself what people post. Open book. Hence the links I gave.

For people that want to look at the TC community forums its tcgw2.com.

The WvW section requires registration. If you register you get to see a match up thread with really cool score updates, some stuff about battle strategy and WvW burnout, and videos of recent fights.

For people that want to look at the FA community forums its fort-aspenwood.com.

Their WvW section also has a match up thread (where they spend most of their time mocking TC for wearing wizard hats and running away from fights), a couple of neat threads about the strength of the FA community, and a recruitment thread where they talk about how to get more SEA coverage and convince Kaineng guilds to join them.

Big deal.

Can we please stop acting offended that people from other servers are curious about what goes on in our communities. As long as people are respectful and don’t intrude in the conversations, what’s the harm of having visitors on your forums?

What’s with the sensitivity? He put up all the links. Anyone who’s actually interested can simply register and view both public WvW forums to see for themselves what kind of picture is being painted of rival servers on our respective forums. The tone, level of maturity, everything is in plain sight. There’s no real need to get worked up, unless of course people feel insecure about how their server is being portrayed by the type of posts they make.

In regards to the hog comment, I did pull out my pig tonics last night and run around SM with Kayni. Honestly, the whole thing is hysterical, and bacon – best thing ever!

Honestly, any server that resorts to paying guilds to move over to them does so at their own risk and at the sacrifice of everything they’ve worked for up to that point.

When I heard TC was paying guilds to xfer over I was quite honestly shocked. Might as well call yourselves BG 2.0 now.

To those criticizing the transfer of CD late-nighters, Oceanic, and SEA crew to TC – I’ve got a few things I’d like to point out.

1) Please ask AVTR about their zerg camping the North camp in TCBL if there’s many people on the map. We got rolled over trying to retake them with 5-mans probably on 4 separate ocassions. Btw, it was great to see AVTR come out, I hadn’t seen them for quite a while. I missed that confusion bomb guys – we learned our lesson once in Hills and learned to combat it, but when you don’t see that tag and are unaware, its already too late! =D

Of course it’s not. We have offered to assist with some funds to defray the cost of the server xfers, but helping people with that does not equate to “paying guilds to transfer over.”

Don’t cry, its just some fun. After all, its almost Ground Hog Day.

The thread is getting polluted with useless comments, trolls, whines and all from both FA and TC.
In the past, there were so many trash talks about KN server along it’s way up but finally we can see where the good guys are, does KN ever acted without any respect any of their opponent both on field and forum? I don’t mean KN are better than others but we are simply good people/guilds. Please take example about it.
There is some serious issues with some FA/TC behaviours and talks when they are communicating together, I believe it’s first a problem about personnality than servers but these people are painting both your servers with their words. Psychotherapy IRL can help also on personnal issues: servers competition < game community.
So far great match, gj whoever win and KN playing soft not to burn out like you are all doing slowly lol.

Given by the Anet team themselves, yet “Fort” could be no further from the truth. FA builds their assets out of sticks and leaves, so easy to blow over that you need to be careful when scouting because if you fart in that general direction you will cap yourself a tower or a keep.

“Supreme Oceanic / SEA Coverage”
Supreme in Australia means highest rank. Accordingly when BG and FA use the word “supreme” they are more than likely misinterpret ting the meaning of it, and meaning to use “bad” or “trash”, even “non-existant”.

“Weekend Warriors”
Congrats to both BG and FA! If the entire 7 days was based on the very first 2 days of play, then you would be rank 1 or 2 consecutively almost every week.

“God Worked For 6 Days, And On The 7th He Rested”
BG and FA seem to think the “Sabbath” covers Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. It’s like every day is a holiday!

“We Pay For Transfers – Offer The Most Help We Can”
Out of a 100 man guild, you are guaranteed to get 100g. A big help getting 2.5 players over in the current economy. And they even have the nerve to tell you they will continue funding weeks after they haven’t dropped a single gold.

“We Have To Be Honest – Our Server Has No Recruitment Opportunities Because All PUGS Are In Organized WvW Guilds”
Another case of misinterpretation. I believe BG and FA mean that “there are no recruitment opportunities because we have falsified our recruitment propaganda so much that no one responds to advertisement”.

“Love A Good Troll”
For the 2 days either server finds itself in 1st or 2nd place within their tier, you receive msg’s from known trolls who run some of the most L337 Brix guilds that go along the lines:
‘Hope you enjoy 3rd place this week’
‘How does the bronze taste’
‘Get used to losing’
But for some reason remain quiet at the end of the week when it’s all doom & gloom when they realize they have bucklies chance of grabbing the coveted number 1 position.

FA: BT, RET, VK

“Aggressive Editing A Video Makes Your Guild / Server Look Boss”
Playing for a whole 3 days just to get 4 minutes of video footage DOES really make you look boss. Especially if you go to tier 8 and do some filming there.

“Join Us And You Are Our Best Friend – Join Elsewhere Or Leave Us And You Are A ‘Turncoat’, ‘Fair-weather’ Or A ‘Coat Tail Rider’”
Never appears to them that if you leave something is wrong with the server, and more importantly the community. Or even more importantly, something is seriously wrong with the guilds you need to play with and rely on during your time zone.

Indeed.
BG = Tier 2 Server
FA = Tier 3 server
Due to unfortunate circumstances on other servers that have led to some simplistic wins, both these servers find themselves playing a tier above the conglomerate skill level.

“It Is 2v1 Against Us”
How interestingly funny. I feel sorry for the server that ends up in tier 2 with FA and BG if this match up does indeed occur one day. That third wheel will really see what 2v1 is when 2 servers who realize they are long lost brothers and their only chance to win is to combine.

So FA and BG should team up is all i got out of that wall of text.

No, TC did not “buy” them. They came to some of their friends they had on TC and tried to get set up with people helping them transfer. I would not take anything JQ says as fact either.
