Its funny how the number of golems used in Gandaras attacks rise every day on the forums. First it was 8 – 10 golems, now we are up in 8 – 10 omegas and other golems. Atleast our golems made it to lords room. Yours hardly got to inner And that was against people charging, not Superior Arrow Carts

So boring to fight Gandara. Only sitting in keeps and manning cannons, mortar, oil and siege. yawn

Big question. Will two more nights be enough to close the gap? I think so.

Yeah we had great scouting today. You guys still managed to get south gate down before we got in tho! But it took too long for your golems to get to the north inner gate which gave us room to organise and build counter siege.

Zumy, just to let you know. We always run with 15-25 guildies. 25 is very rare however. And we always try to not run with random players. Maybe you got unlucky today. You can QQ about it in the forums here or keep your head up and play for the win! There are still plenty of days left so you guys still have it in control.

It was after our guildevent, we saw them fighting against 10 people of Gandara, and we ran in from another side when we saw it was the REQ guild. Ofcourse we had to dance and laugh on your bodies. Just pixels right?

You got us back when we got sandwiched inbetween you and AM zerg, so all good right? Keep up the good fights.

I dont think ive ever seen 25 of us on at the same time, let alone in wvw together. Hell 15 isn’t particularly common, its usually closer to 10 in my experience.
I’ve only been in the guild a couple of weeks though so you know better.
Wasn’t on tonight so no comment on emote spam.

So much spew – had fun tonight though – won some, lost some – got unexpected and epic victories and got crushed by a train with no mercy – the best night I had in last weeks – thx RS and fellow Gandarans.

Wrecked a couple RS zergs on EBG tonight with some nice command leadership. Of course, RS returned the favor outside QL not too much later. :P

To the AM’s that read this… we thank whomever decided it was a great idea to place a Superior Treb on your south outer wall, at Overlook, to hit SMC. We removed that mistake quickly.

Can someone from RS explain why I see so many Flame Rams up in your towers (QL was a major offender this past weekend).

All in all, I’ve been enjoying this match-up. Have had some good fights.

If I recall correctly we pushed out of inner 3×. Due to nice mechanics we couldn’t see further then first 15 players. So yeah we don’t really sit on siege, not that it matters anyway.

Had a pretty good laugh at AM trying to portal into Hills this morning….

Unfortunately RS don’t have the same sense of knockabout fun and crashed the party by glitching into Longview….

No mesmer, no stealth, I saw him come straight through a reinforced gate. And no jumping sportsman-like back out either, so quite possibly intentional.

I’m aware this isn’t the right place for reports (I’ll be sending it to the right place), and that 1 glitcher does not represent an entire server. I just post this in the hope that his own server will deal with him.

By the looks of it we have someone on RS you likes to sabotage. Places rams inside to use up supply and max out the siege numbers. He/she/it pretends to be in one of the RS guilds, only to discredit them. Sad story, sad individual. :-(
So if you run into less siege weapons than you usually expect, it is probably because we can’t build any more due to that clown building a flame-ram grave yard somewhere on that map… it would be nice if you could hold your thought/attack until the rams are gone, so we can give you the fight you expect… ;-)

Thats what I thought when I saw all those rams along the outer wall stairs in Valley in EB, least we cleared those for you, shame someone has use those kind of tactics for an advantage, if you had let us get a bit closer we could have got rid of the rest… jk :P

Yay my first (unintentional) video debut! That bay defense last night was cracking good fun, well, wiping you all off the battlements anyway. Lots of good fights last night. I’m a wee bit new to serious WvW, but after the siege-tastic weekend I’m starting to enjoy this matchup.

Shame you feel like that, the bad we are working on, the arrogant well this is the forums and its not like that on the battleground, the cheating we would like to know about since as a server we hate any form of cheating and would like to be informed so we can do something about it. And we have had our kitten handed to us more times than id like to mention :P

Edit: Just a final attempts, guys from every server + Guild everywhere, stop acting like fools. The occasional troll post, sure but god, all of us, Gandara, Riverside AND my own fellow guild members are starting to look like complete fools >.>

Atleast we fight with honor. Every server has cheaters. Yesterday a Gandara mesmer portalled us in briar and we noticed that it wasn’t legit so everyone jumped out again. 10 seconds later the gate went down but the fact that all Gandarans jumped out and did not exploit made me proud to be part of such a friendly and nice community.

It also seems that some people judge entire guilds based on the posts of a few guild members. And those post are taken out of proportion as well. Why is Dius arrogant? We makes jokes in the forum and taunt you for more battles. We do not force anyone and we respect all guilds. You guys take it all way too serious! xD Even starting to insult us now!

Is there any particular reason you think gandara is planting the rams around eb and trolling your team speak server though? Not trying to shift the blame on AM just curious.

As for who ‘deserves’ to win – the server that wins will deserve it.
If RS win it’ll have been earned due to doing an outstanding defensive job over the weekend and giving us the hardest keep recapture we’ve ever had on the server by miles and miles and miles (just please dont do it to us again, I’m pretty sure ill rage quit if you do).
If we win it we’ll have earned it by staging a pretty amazing comeback. Our highest point ticks each day have been at primetime too so no one can accuse of PvD’ing our way to victory.

We stage pretty big comebacks on pretty much a weekly basis at this stage but this one will be special if we do pull it off. I dont think we’ve ever pulled back a 40k lead though i think a couple of occasions we’re close ish. And while I’m not a huge fan of fighting your tactics (personal taste nothing more) I cant deny that your very, very good at what you do and easily one of the strongest servers we’ve run into

Don’t know about the others, but I had a blast the last 2 days :-) Truth be told, some of us were a bit suprised about the /dance etc. after you outnumbered … sry I meant outplayed us so badly ;-) However, after beeing pointed to this thread we had a good laugh and everything got clear to us, again! :-D
We are very happy that Zumy takes his guild responsibilty so serious and finds good friends in every bracket, he’s our foreign minister after all :P [Yes! We are a well organised and structured guild, we even have our own princesses and one cotton picker!]

@Sandwich: yeah, it took quite some self-control to not follow/stomp some of you in the middle of that AM zerg :-) Next time let’s just try to focus on AM instead and give them some well deserved knuckle sandwich… that is, if you’re a bit into that bread and roses thingy after all g

Flo why so mad? People who used to play “PvP” like to taunt others a little, especially in the forums.
A-Net doesnt like to do this ingame so mostly we have to do this here.
No problem for me at all.
The two thing i disliked in the beginning about Gandara was that some people of Wv3 guilds talked bad about our playstyle cause in their opinion we dont give them Open Fights.
As i said above we always try find a mix of attack, defend and Open Fights.
Hill on your Borderlands was a special one so i would not count it;-).
The other was that you talked the whole time about masses of our players, as you can see thats wrong, every Server who is back in score has this excuse.
Finally I think Kinkywarrior has understood our playstyle and is a very kind person^^.

By the very definition, the server that scores the most points also deserves the 1st place. You cannot argue with that.

Gandara (or “the Gandhis”, as we love to call ‘em) has their play style, Riverside has theirs, and so as Abaddon’s. If you disagree with another server ending up in front of your’s, fight harder.

BTW, it seems that Gandara and Riverside will meet again in the next matchup. So Riverside better starts developing a strategy against Gandara’s mid-week second wind.
