Any news?
Based on the past almost 2 years of little in the way of any improvements to WvW (and, no, EotM is not WvW; it’s EotM) in conjunction with the derth of any information in the patch notes and the near total silence by the devs, I’d say there’s little to nothing to look forward to except more of the same.
The answer to this question has always been: no.
A great many of the announced upcoming changes for WvW have either never materialized or were delayed months from when the population expected them. I doubt we will see any more concrete announcements about future WvW changes.
“Youre lips are movin and youre complaining about something thats wingeing.”
Since WvW is a small portion of the game’s population, you probably wont see too many changes upcoming for WvW. What little we get, we need to appreciate.
With the rollout of megaserver, you could expect changes to the World Transfer prices after the tournament.
Priority #1 needs to be removal of hard-rezzing.
Priority #2 Rally with dodge-ball rules.
Priority #3 Is devising a new scoring algorithm.

Agreed.
Actually they’ve been very quiet about any future anything lately. GW2 will be 2 years old in August (that’s only months away) and no word on direction/content from a developer of a previous “Game of the Year”.
PS: We aren’t the only ones wondering:

So many stupid comments here. WvW is a fairly large part of gw2 and endgame for many people. WvW and sPvP are pretty much the only endgame in gw2 since PVE is essentially dead and there is nothing to do. Pay more attention to this section of the game Anet, it will save your game, and if you don’t your game will die. People log in every day just to run with their guild in wvw, defend their server, or roam.
As Devon said, please wait until after Dec 31st.
Id say wvw is kind of the only Endgame since your level and gear makes no difference to pvp.

Did he say that again this year?

Ideal scenario:
- PvP = skill-based competition
Guild Wars 2:
- WvW = zergballing
- TPvP = condi-bunkering
