What is your glory rank Zumy?
I usually queue whole day without seeing you or any REQ I’m only rank 32 though, but usually i’m teaming with people lower rank then me around ~20 or so also, if you’re around these ranks we should meet up at least sometimes.

I startet playing tpvp a week ago sporadically. So I am 16. The rest is around 2X as we ordinarily were a smallscale wvw guild.

We dont Queue as REQ btw.

Anyway, unfortunately Gorikor’s been heavily busy with RL, i speak with him few times through BioWware forums, and its been a while since i last heard from him, but he told me that he’d try make sometime for GW2. In fact i do have a 2nd account linked to US server but haven’t really played it… i managed to drag some of the american friends i made in Badlands/Gorfang into PX, the amount of trolling increased greatly in this EU guild though

But yeah, i’m usually solo myself also, unfortunately the time-zones don’t fix to have a fixed team yet, plus a lot of people slacking and also playing other games till the patch kicks in. I only queue for the 1 round tournament as well, so we’re bound to meet i think Perhaps we can even queue together one of these days! Just add me to your friends list.

Which brings me back to GW2: somehow the game works too (somehow) although so many screws are loose (either be it the game engine, the servers, the concept or the devs :-) )… just image what my car could do now if I know where to put all that funny screws… fly to the moon? Maybe… Now, what could we expect from GW2 if all that loose screws would be fixed, yeah indeed a good game after all :-)

Yeah, thats totally the pvp content I am looking for…

Also dont blame me for anything that has to do with a group bigger than 6 ppl.
We were roaming for about two hours and had one single good fight without opponents running away, playing cats and mice with a few dozens of BB pugs until they zerged up to a massive blob.
That was all the action we got out of 2 1/2 hours on two different BL.
Now you tell me what fault I have in everybody blobbing to massive ultrazergs.

I said you should propably direct part of your complaints to riverside aswell, not that you´re the reason, chill out a bit guy.

Also, trebs aren´t the purpose, they are the trap. It´s funny to see angry red tags swarming over siege.

The few times we met up with other guilds inside a keep there were indeed some horrible blobs, TUP themselves didn’t get over 17 tonight I think so we were run over a few times but ah well, skill lag aside at times, some nice fights.

Yea we had some nice fights, although by the end of the night RED and CS had joined you Was still nice battles we had and we got some good practise in battle movements!

Now that was fun few hours ago lots of action and some large battles (runs around waving arms in the air screaming while in plague form trying to pick up as many loot bags as possible) \:D/

After the 20+ minutes mass threeway yesterday at Anza/Dredge/Wildcreek, can we all please stop complaining that there would not be room for some nice open warfare battles. Its a shame that there were neither the time nor bagspace to pick up all that precious loot …

It was quite funny, thanks to all parties. I can’t wait to see such battles without culling. (TS was quite literally going: “So, I guess we wiped the Aurora zerg.” — “Oh no, wait, here they are.” — “Ok, now we are done.” — “What, there is still a Baruch zerg???” --- all the time )

Add some randomly chosen WvW-guys to FL and whisper IG. It has proven to work the best for me. There are quite a few roaming the threads in this forum.

I can understand that… sometimes feel it even when running 15-20 guys and always getting zerged by the entire zone… but atleast we have more of a chance to fight back than you guys do so its not as bad we have slim chance where you have 0.001%

Besides REQ & TDA not really sure of many small scale guilds anymore which is a shame. Amok/Baka maybe, a handful of guilds spread across tiers/servers… the rest are not either that active or memorable enough… I only do small scale late, so maybe there are some guilds ive missed out i dont see true strength of.

Its a shame not more on the small scale scene, the other small scale guilds encounter same issues as you and probally give up as they will think whats the point everyone zerging and with lack of GVG available in game, and your role kinda being destroyed by ANET nerfing supply camp buffed lords.

I can recall plenty of times when twice our number wont engage us, which is dissapointing, and i can recall even more times when we will engage over twice our number… have a similar attitude in regards to looking for fights just on a different scale, some people are too affraid of dying instead of participating in a good fight. Good fights is what the game is all about imo win or lose.

Maybe certain guild tags, or just having the same guild tag invokes fear amongst enemy… which is shame, its so tempting to swap our guild tags to see how the enemy approaches us differently… having guild tags is very double edged at times.

I dont consider REQ to be that well known tbh that ppl run if they see the tag. Actually most ppl just walk away when they see somebody charging them without retreat. no matter the numbers. Run to gate, get safe and fight with aoe blind, bolas and cannon from keep :-).

I am not stopping smallscale, even when I am alone. I played 4,5 years of bughammer, come at me GW2! :-P

But many other ppl just will leave, even in REQ.
As Lonny said. We already lack 2 of our strongest regular 5. Thats 40%. I dont say there arent players good enough out there. But find sb good, willing to smallscale and overall then be lucky and get him to fit in the group.

afterall, we are a bunch of flamers and trolls and need the guild to get our back for that very often. The servercommunity sure wont.

I can agree with Zumy here, sympathy points raised. Feels good to be recognised, even though we only can bring 3-5 people max. since a few weeks. As you said, with these numbers the most groups going around these days feel a little overwhelmimg. We still have fun to see how long we can fight 3 vs. 10. Wins are rare, but they happen.

This guy has the guild tag ‘VII’ ‘septem guild’. anyway he was caught teleport hacking by alot of aurora glade people around the vale camp we all reported him but would like riverside to find him and report him also hacking isn’t a thing i think any of us want to see in this game as it takes the fun out of the match up. Anyways grats to riverside for showing the strength of your top tier days shame it was because of an upset that forced you to do it. anyways good luck all for the rest of the week.

well, Dawns Eyrie 3 Times, Askallion Hills 2 Times fly haked from Baruch Guild OKR (old Knight of roam) we screaned and reported. If you Baruch guys cant win other wise a Match, i will give you my offer for the rest of the week. Baruch Homelands are my new Riverside Homelands now. i dont give a s…. on matchups but you get rraaped hard for this unhonorable gaming.

Not only the Hills… also Bravost, Quentin, Langor on Eternal (all T3) turned to green in seconds, same guild. Shame on you. You destroy a good matchup with this.

Btw what hapenned yesterday? AG borderland was a kittening desert… in like 30 mins we rushed all the BL… both servers with the outnumbered debuff even if hills was a kittening bunker, there was no people to defend it… we had also just 80 points at 22.00 gmt+1. All was PvDoor :S

You definitly missed the action by about an hour. There where heavy and severe fights between RS and AG for several hours unless AG – completely outnumbered – left the BL.
Half an hour later also RS left the BL because there was no action anymore.

When you arrived … the party was already over

btw: I was the Asura mage who managed to kill almost every of your golems on hill fortress with my superior arrow cart. Unfortunately not in time. One of your golems survived.

Was a fun thieves vs thieves fight yesterday afternoon at the AG spawn on Riverside!
There was one thief that was sooooo hard to kill, even when all of his teammates were down and all of us were focussing on him.

Would really wanna know that build :P

If it was a spanish Charr Thief from OdS, it was probably Tikitaka.
He plays D/D ; S/P with heavy stealth, lots of shadowsteps and high burst. Definitely one of the best thieves I have been fooling around with, roaming side by side to troll zerglings.
Ask Keks from RS, 10 of those mediocre players were not able to catch him while he was finishing them off all the time :-).

I often also use emotes to wave or salute to tower/keep defenders, and I want to assure everyone that this is never meant ill. I also try to make a habit of using /bow after an 1v1 (well, at least the ones I am able to do an emote afterwards). Also, if a corpse is lying around a little bit too long, I sometime use my flamethrower until to shoo the little spy away.

It’s just a game. Relax, and don’t take it too serious. (Und immer schön flauschig bleiben.)

I teamed up with him for 30 min so I could see were and how he was moving while in stealth.
He seems to plan the next three moves like playing chess.

Its not an exotic build and the gear is berserker with ogre runes. He just avoids damage by extraordinary movement and positional awareness.

Seems we have exploiters on all sides now. Another reason why we shouldn’t blame a server for the actions of a few. There will always be bad apples.

About OdS, LOST is always willing to take you on with our 2-man zerg. If you get bored at killing dollys and ganking people we can have more duels.

My solo ranger is a joke lol. I have played tanks throughout my GW2 “career” and made a bet that I could somehow make a glass ranger with longbow and bear work in WvW while solo roaming.

But if you want extreme difficulty and potential high rewards, a barrage that can wipe out 5 people and yourself on retaliation, then you can receive my build.

Key to success is, press invulnerability and Norn elite when somebody starts focusing you and run like hell.

True that. A bit of taunting is all fair in the game, although I try to save that for when I meet and defeat massive odds instead of running over some poor guy with 30+.

It’s an effective strategy at times too, when players lose their cool and try to rush you, making it an easier fight. I’m not here to condemn such behaviour when I’m probably one of the most annoying people there is to fight in the game, frequently using taunts during mid-fight lol.

I do, but it is successful because of the 1500 range. Sword brings the dps avoiding automatically because of the evasive moves, but when a group of thieves starts focusing you (realizing that you’re putting out 15k rapid fires every couple of seconds), it’s time to reset the fight.

Best I’ve done was 1vs4 with ranger, but obviously not against great players. I tried wiping a 6 man guild once, but only killed 3 before having to run away. It’s all about the use of environment.

We dueled TikiTaka once I think, he had problems with our sword thief if I remember correctly, but maybe he has made the proper adjustments by now. I don’t think I got to duel him aside from a 3v3, but I’ve fought a few other OdS thieves in 1v1s. They’re always willing to have a go in a duel so respect.

Find a tanky friend from another server to practice movement.
Make it a long fight so you can test many cooldown scenarios, using different environment tools etc.

On my S/D thief I often finissh fights without getting hit once.
Lonny, does this agains quite a bigger amount of ppl though.

I guess you just need a lot of practice with soloroaming and engaging several opponents.

The most important thing is to know when not to stomp. If you did not get much damage in the fight, but the stomp might drop you hard, just let them ress and continue teleporting around with sword.
So you can continue dropping that guy thill he finally dies completely.

We dueled TikiTaka once I think, he had problems with our sword thief if I remember correctly, but maybe he has made the proper adjustments by now. I don’t think I got to duel him aside from a 3v3, but I’ve fought a few other OdS thieves in 1v1s.

Hm, I guess I will have to play around. But i might chose norn in the end.

Ofc he has bigger issues with other sword thieves. He has the same tools and a daze stun can sc rew you up pretty much. He is gc geared :-).
Thieves biggest enemies are other thieves with similar builds.
As they know what you will do.

Glass cannon thief can be so unreliable in 1on1’s though, no matter how good you are a random warrior with eviscerate can drop you in seconds if they get lucky.

I’ve literally seen a 1v1 situation where a thief won 9 out of 10 times, but the warrior once caught lightning in a bottle and eviscerated the thief to oblivion with about 100 hp left.

I ate 16k eviscerate being in stealth by an awesome warrior. :-D. (14,3k HP to my name)
I was only passing by his duel and did not want to disturb him so I used SR to walk by.

That was some aweful collateral damage :-D.
Luckyly I had tons of stealth left so I could heal up and leave :-D.

It’s like the whole of AG aren’t even trying… We used to do well despite being outnumbered at times, being forced to play smart, but the last couple of days have been ridiculous.

We have some of the best commanders, but with nothing to command. We clearly don’t belong in our current tier, despite disproving that in previous weeks.

I think we belong in this tier and will remain in this tier considering how close it is between us and Baruch Bay at the moment.

People are just a bit tired of the same match-up taking place every week, Riverside showed up with the greatest motivation to win this week and it shows in the points.

The fight still goes on for 2nd place.

It seems that we must run a fight club, 1v1

If it was a spanish Charr Thief from OdS, it was probably Tikitaka.
He plays D/D ; S/P with heavy stealth, lots of shadowsteps and high burst. Definitely one of the best thieves I have been fooling around with, roaming side by side to troll zerglings.
Ask Keks from RS, 10 of those mediocre players were not able to catch him while he was finishing them off all the time :-).

We dueled him and 3 of his guildies today too, I must admit he is fairly good at what he does. I won all fights except against him, each fight he narrowly escapes death with like 5% hp at least 3 times but in the end he killed me every time :p

Was very enjoyable I must say, also great practice against thieves!

Finally fixed techincal issues with pc, first time ive lead in three weeks didnt have commander tag on character i was on but still had a few friendlies follow me/us from time to time

Initially was 14 of us, at our peak we were 22 then towards end for awhile we was 17 when we finished and some did small scale afterward.

Some very intense fights tonight… firstly vs Riverside Realm present around the hills area mostly and sometimes in the north then later in the evening against Baruch bay realm around bay and garrison

Was great hope you enjoyed it as much as us
mostly Nuke, Lex, then later DsD? never seen before… and everyone else

As for german’s we fought
DW? Zorn? Cant remember all the rest of tags as ive had too many fights since haha but i know there was a large RS pressence during the evening so cheers for the great fights
