I’m wondering if the auto-loot is only for HoT players?

I’m asking because I can’t find it on my WvW abilities menu. And I’ve already reloged and tried on several characters.

You can’t get the masteries without having HoT and that is part of a mastery.

Its called Provisions Master under your WvW abilities. Push B and look for that. Its 20 points into that to get the auto loot..

I have HoT so not sure if it is a HoT thing or not but if you do not have the Provisions Master then I guess it is a HoT thing.

Yeah I just checked several chars again and I can’t see that. Oh well, I’ll keep pressing F then.

No points were reset. Just the new ability added to the list

arg! i’m only rank 860ish and spent all my points on siege stuff i never use because their was nothing else…i guess i’ll have to bust out some more ranks for autoloot …

only 20 points needed for the auto loot and there is a wxp 15% buff going on as well… maybe pop some celebration or birthday boosters to speed it up even more

Its really not expensive. You’ll get it in no time at all.

I’m a ton happy. It really took away from leveling after finishing burning oil. This is like having saved up for something good.

Can anyone help me with it?
I skilled it from the WvW ability tab,but I still need to press the mouse buttom to interact and collect the bags……what’s wrong with it?

Do I have to do the PvE MASTERY of autoloot too ?
Or is it buggy and not working on me?
Some other guy in WvW got my same problem:they spent the WvW points to unlock it , but they still have to press the button to interact.
I also restarted the game a couple times after some crash,so the only thing that come to my mind is that I have to do the PvE mastery too…I hope is not like this…cause at this point I will just set a macro with the Razer naga.

You need to turn auto loot on in options.

Just unlocking the mastery doesn’t turn it on.

Autoloot: Autopickup I believe is the option.

it is 35 points to unlock the entire Provision Master ability.

Hi Zephyra!

I’ve attached a screenshot of my Options config and WvW points screen so you can see what I have while in WvW. (As you can see, I’m at our DBL’s spawn in the SS.)

Now when I kill something in WvW and there’s loot to be obtained, the loot instantly and automatically goes into my inventory. I do not have to click on it or hit any buttons. (I do see the loot briefly show up above my mini map as it’s being auto-picked up.)

NOTE: I DO NOT have Advanced Logistics completed in the Central Tyria Pact Commander Masteries. NOTE 2: I didn’t have to check the autoloot boxes in Options. They were already checked when I looked. (But I may have clicked them in the past and don’t remember.)

Me neither. This game got kittened hard in Jun 2015. After that it was obvious they were gonna grab us by the balls to suck our money.

HoT isn’t worth the price tag. And the business practices used are not helping to change my opinion. We already paid and had access to wvsw and fotm and all these other zones and things….and now they modify the existing content to make it so we need to pay to do things we used to be able to. No…..just no that’s not cool. Provide content worth buying and we will buy it. Its 3-4 pve maps….a new pvp mode called conquest….raids…a new profession….and specializations to open a new traitline for each class. That’s all the expansion is, and it doesn’t appeal to me. I ain’t changing my mind just cause you put up barriers on all the pre-existing game content to try and force it down our throats. I’d sooner quit the game.
GvG is now the arena in guild halls….requires Hot. Fotm requires more agony resistance requiring attuned equipment….requires Hot. I could go on forever listing stuff like this…

It honestly wouldn’t surprise me if they changed things again and required HoT to use all siege weapons….or all superior siege weapons. I am sincerely surprised that guild siege weapons haven’t been made HoT only usage.

If I could pick and choose what I was buying…I would buy some stuff I really would. I would pay a bit so I could do everything in wvsw that a HoT user can. i would pay a bit for some of the profession mastery traits. I would pay a bit to use the guild arena. I wouldn’t pay 50$ for this content alone though nor should I do so…and yet that’s exactly what the game is trying to make all of us do.

If you only ever do WvW or the Central Tyria areas then HoT isn’t really worth it.

Although, in my opinion, gliding in Central Tyria alone is worth the upgrade. It has greatly changed how I play and has saved time and deaths many times.

While I do agree with this regarding the original price and I now regret paying the 45 euros just to try out the raid beta weekend (we all remember how that went…), the price has gone down at retailers and you can get it at about half the initial price, which is about what it’s worth anyhow.

I think HoT was mostly a good deal for people like me, I got HoT in June and GW2 base game was included, so both for the price of one.

I personally feel a bit different, most people are like ‘’This is it? That’s not worth it!‘’ I think it is, it’s 4 PvE maps, a 17 chapter long story, raids, event chains to keep you going for hours, it’s plenty more then an average game has for that price.

You also need to consider something else, most likely all future content will be HoT based, people whine ‘’this now requires HoT, so does that’’, it makes perfect sense, as HoT is what they physically sell now in stores.

You’re going to get left behind, that’s a simple fact, the gap in what GW2 base gives you, and what HoT adds, is only going to increase.
