If that is the case, many JQ must be taking a break because they are facing SoS/FA

SoR definitely stands a chance. Their sea is capable of queuing 3 maps. Add in the superior eu coverage.

It’s going to be interesting to see who will win. SoR or JQ.
BG, of course, stands no chance.

If JQ wins by an overwhelming number and more or less steamrolls all other servers then Anet needs to take a hard look at how scoring and wvw in general works. The solution for every server then would be to buy as many guilds as you can. I find that a sad realism.

JQ is currently stacked so much and with their dedicated WvWers, they will get #1, they recently bought a HUGE BG guild. BG’s ppt can no longer hold up to SoR or JQ and are vastly outmaned during most timezones.
With their numbers JQ and SOR will have winning though boring weeks while the other servers in the league may be a bit more even.I still hope for good fights here and there though, even if its just showing up during your primetime and give it all you got and have fun.

erm i faced bg and sor over the past 2 weeks. jq has turned into 1 giant monsterblob server and they are still stealing guilds from other servers.

Already happened many months ago. JQ got a large influx of guilds right before free xfers ended.

JQ has the most T1 wins in the games history even though it’s a PvE server.

SOR having BG’s bl capped and triple way pointed is their own fault. Their own map was being overrun but their big wvw guilds kept trying to push SOR’s bl hard. When that wasn’t working out for them they left and capped everything in TC’s BL instead of responding.. I just don’t understand what BG’s main NA guilds were thinking or even if they were coordinating and talking to each other at all.

That just might be why I said morale is with JQ and SoR at the moment

I’ve seen BG bounce back multiple times from finishing 3rd in a T1 match to take first easily the following week.

Honestly, if things are as bad as you say at least League matches only featuring BG-TC-FA-SoS/Mags might actually be fun so it might be better for the League overall (even if that isn’t want BG wants to hear at all).

No one will care about league. Most people will be skipping season to play other upcoming games. Anet has shown they are incapable of making competitive game formats.

I wouldn’t take that as a weakness in BG. SoR pushed hard this weekend and countered BGs normal weekday push. SoR played the match smart and demoralized BG’s “pugs” There were some major mistakes made that lead to SoR taking garrison and some other major mistakes that allowed them to fully upgrade it. Anyone that thinks that this is how every SoR/BG match will go must be new here or just trying to jump on the troll bandwagon. We have seen SoR/BG/JQ all blow out the scores and capitalize on fatal mistakes made by opposing servers. Also we have seen all 3 servers give up by wednesday, its nothing new. SoR did awesome this week and deserve the applause! Congrats to all the SoR guilds and to RISE :p

during na prime sos and fa was actually able to put some pressure on jq their zerglings melt quickly if they face even numbers. i’ve met a few skilled guilds, but its a shame they are in t1 and not in other servers as they actually have some nice skills that cant shine in the middle of a giant zerg.

I will say though that, People that talk about our big influx of guilds. SoR still has a very good chance of beating us. With SoR’s 2 EU guilds vs our 0. That will put our NA back to the test. So do not count out SoR they can put a lot of pressure on us during all timezones if they want to. Especially in EU/NA.

TC didn’t lose anyone. Still plenty of love for us to dish out… Sharing is caring folks so stop the negative nancy and pass it to the left please.

As far as I know, TC only list ZN (To get back with guilds they had played with a long time ago) and WvW (not sure of their reasons), and I believe both went to BG. TC did lose some individual players (not a lot) to JQ, but thats it.

However, we have gained several guilds as well. I talked with a couple people from [PHNX] from Borlis Pass and they seemed like lovely people! So, we’ve lost some, and we’ve gained some, which is fairly typical for TC. We keep a fairly stable population, but who is in that population comes and goes (it’s part of the reason I LOVE TC.! Get to know so many people!)

As for the leagues, who cares who comes in first? Honestly…it’s not like the 1st place team gets gold plated Lambo’s sent to them…it’s just kitten. If you don’t care about what place you get, the start of leagues won’t really change much besides your matches.

My guess is:

Becuase someone says something about BG doesn’t mean they are “new here” or “jumping on the bandwagon”. The fact is BG have been very strong in the past several weeks till this week when they lost MERC and RISE. There lose is clearly hurting BG more than these so called mistakes as you claim and yes SoR has done a very good job to demoralized BG this week.

RISE been on every server, not really what you call… the settling down type.

I think since Kaineng, they been roaming nomads sharing the love.

This begs the question: How is being in the Gold Leagues going to benefit the #4-6 servers that don’t have a chance of placing in the top 3?
