Blessing in WvW, Exploit?
Blessings give 6 stats. I don’t see how it is game breaking.

Blessings? Do you mean a potion buff and a food buff? Maybe I’m missing something.
There is a Shrine in Dreadgehaunt that when you need infront of them it gives you a buff for 30 min
Ah, I see. Never knew about that.
So if you do the math they gain about 140 precision from the blessing + food + nourishment.

I wonder how many wvw players have actually explored that region at all and know about that shrine

the point here is the entire WM guild has that buff or 80%
They’re running food, oil, and the measly (+6 stat points) blessing. Everyone can run these if they want to. Not an exploit

If that was true wouldn’t we be using pvp gear?
Somehow I knew WM had to be involved. BTW our queues are too long atm for them to keep it up if they intend to WvW more than 1/8-1/4 of their time.

WvW is not supposed to be equal, if that was true, as said, we would be in pvp gear, food and potions would be disabled, etc. Level scaling is only there to give lower levels a fighting chance, not have it be “loloneshot” like every other game.

that is not true a theif can back stab one shot me when im scaled up to 80 on my guardian who is level 50

Their guild is large enough that they don’t need the entire team for the standing army. So they can just rotate their rosters whenever the buff is up.
When your server has hit the player cap, the only way to continue to increase the fighting power is buff the individuals on the map. It makes sense.

thieves can back stab one/2 shot a lot of classes lol.
Brittle spike thieves can do a lot of damage but none that I know of can 1 or 2 shot a class. 3 shot on a low hitpoint class sure but a lot has to go right and then they are on a long cooldown. This build is also pretty bleh in group fights.

I know the shrine you mean, but it’s pretty pointless unless you are on a low tier server.
After all, who is going to zone out of WvW to renew such a buff then spend 15-30 mins in queue to spend 0-15 mins in WvW to repeat when the buff expires?

Killed by one class in a couple hits, a class that hopefully someday might be adjusted

What’s your point? Like toast said “fighting chance”. Welcome to one of the reason’s why theives are one of the most complained about class in WvW.

Glass cannon roamers who like ganking quite ofter have the following combo on a macro of some kind: Steal/Cloak & Dagger/Backstab/Heartseeker/Heartseeker.
Beacuse they are macroed they happen so quickly and seamlessly that they appear to be a single attack when viewed in action.
The Steal/Cloak & Dagger/Backstab at the start will do 19k-21k damage to a charater in level 80 exotic medium armour and the Heartseekers can do 3k-9k damage per hit to you in the same armour depending upon your current health. This will pretty much take down anyone in medium armour. I don’t know what the damage is like when you have level 80 exotic heavy armour, as I don’t have a heavy armour character at that level yet to be ganked so that I can check my combat log to see what I took.
I know that blacktide used to run a lot of thieves like this (’cos I felt their daggers), what servers they have moved to I have no idea..
Wvw is not supposed to be fair, it rewards those who put time into their toons…

That buff is just super smart, what are they going to do keep leaving the map just to get it? Then maybe hit a queue time? That would be funny

I assure they’re not rotating people in with our current 1-2+ hour queues on every map at reset time (even up to 6 hours after reset we still have extended queues). Do they get them before WvW, well…yeah. I’d be concerned about the buffs that can be refreshed without re-queuing.
