This battle is at least semi level compared to the past lopsided match-ups. I guess SF is not boasting anymore that they no longer have orb buffs. Looks like the other servers are slowly chewing away at your initial lead.

Unlike DH, SF can’t rely solely on numbers. They can treb us all they want, if you can’t cut off the supply trains , we’ll just turtle and rebuild.

Borlis, anything I have ever said about you guys negatively, or construed to be negative in the past, know that I have nothing but respect for you guys, I know how hard it has to be for your server. I applaud you guys for sticking to your guns and your server. I really think overall this has been the most fun/enjoyable battle AR has been in for a long .. long time. My hats off to all you guys, and Sorrow’s as well. You guys can bring some pretty impressive numbers to a battle. Once again, nothing but respect for both servers, keep up the good fights, and we will see you on the battlefield.

Just wanted to say that this is the both the most balanced and the toughest WvWvW match-up I have had the privilege to fight in since the game went live — much back and forth and definitely feeling the need to up my game as a result. So thank you SF and AR for fighting the good fight. I promise to return the compliment.

Well we got the wall down just befor the reset. Still fun though i know a lot of ppl are unhappy about this took a good 4hr to get to that point. Btw from SF.

Sadly the only zerg on SF is about 20 or less at one time for at most 5 mins during the weekend. Most of the time we run smaller groups or just simply do not have the ppl on.

Spawn Camping points with siege weapons is NOT COOL. If you want to spawn camp just do it with people please.

Dont go to that Spot.. and idk how you spawn camp anyways all the WP are in keeps.

I thought SF was going away with an easy win, but it’s seems like we are doing a comeback during the week! Borliss too is showing some good number and siege strat!

It’s starting to be a 3 way fight, and it’s a lot of fun.

Yesterday after the restard, we tried to rush the orb in BP BL. We got the keep, we nearly missed the orb then finally got it. But keeping 3 orbs was too much for us, as Borliss brang in some fire power north, and SF attacked us from south. We lost it to Borliss Pass, good job guys! We tried to be too big!

Nice fight with SF in their borderland yesterday too. I came late to help defend the bay that was falling, but we had some great number so we finally pushed you back.

What was weird was that 1-2 players tried to misdirect our army? Giving direction in chat about attacking tower on the other side of the map, when our bay was getting sieged. They kept calling for that kind of thing or sayign the bay was Ok when it wasn’t at all. I gotta say I’m starting to think they were spy from the evil SFurnace

That’s funny, cuz we had someone doing that exact same thing to us. We were attacking Shad and trying to make a good run at it when someone starts blabbing that Garr was under attack. Me thinks there are spies all over the place. Luckily, our scouts are a lil better than that.

On numerous occasions there was a person in SF by the name of LadyLethal and had that guild tag, whenever we would call out where we were going, anvil would be there immediately, when going from one side of the map to another changing strategies completely. And saw LadyLethal being ignored in some cases by invaders.

I am sure there are spies all over the place, but this one was pretty obvious lol.

And holy crap. We went into Lions Arch to advertise that we needed help. The general response was “If we wanted to WvW, we would change servers” or when advertising on other borderland maps for reinforcements, “If we wanted to help we would, but we are solo capping camps”

What the hell SF? Get a grip and help our server, everyone benefits from it, and you make kitten good money and xp and Karma there too. Man up, wreck some people, and have a crap load of fun while you are at it. WvW is intense fun.

Hmmm I don’t think so. Or it might be a little guild that I don’t know. No major guild for sure.

Anyway, I fought in 2 Borderland all night yesterday, and didn’t get any tips in chats about us having a spy on your side. But it is still possible!

Had a theif the other day take out our treb at the very top tower of the east keep from the ground with cluster bomb, not sure what to say about that.

Well goodjob SF from taking our 3+ day hold on bay with orb… defending bay from 10+ trebs and 60+ of you was tough… It’s not over yet

What keep?

Thief can exploit a skill to enter West keep.

I use ink shot to enter DB, that isn’t an exploit as far as I am concerned and only grants you access to the outer wall. I run solo most of the time.

Okay? Does not matter if your on outer wall… No one should be able to jump in outer wall of a keep. Not only that you go invisi every 10 secs hiding behind that ledge LOL.

Why? My ability let’s me do it, my access is limited to non-crucial areas, and I have to fight guards and players the entire time I am there. Legit use of skill.

It’s not because you have the ability to do it, that you can do it. Early on, I can’t remember what it was, but people could use a npc merchant to get item cheaper. You had the ability to do it, but people still got banned for that.

1 skill of one class, in the entire map, can pass a whole wall to attack the ennemy line. People no longer stock the orb in that keep except low level tier like us.

Once the tricks will be well known, a group of 5-10 thief will be able to enter and just flank and destroy the people on the wall. It’s unbalanced, and it shouldn’t happen.

Do it if you want, but if I see you, I will report for sure.

Kardiamond what you describe is different in it’s level of impact. Me attacking people on the wall is significantly different then me buying 1000 items and converting them to precursors. I cannot get access to your orb, all I can do is fight people on the outer wall. In my opinion the game should have fragile ladder siege that you setup next to a wall and climb in on.

Anet is the only one that can decide if these things are right or wrong. If I see a post saying that it is unintended, then I will stop using it. Personally I think setting up catapults and firing rocks through a door to keep people from using rams is unintended, will you be reporting that as well? It’s level of impact is significantly higher then a thief on a wall of one keep per map.

No reason in hell a port or skill should allow you to bypass keep walls. Area-net need to make it a fix point to stop the Bypass of keep walls and Aoeing threw keep doors. DAOC fix this issue like 15 years ago so why cant they fix this issue today!
