Any news on when this stupid ‘MathIsUnitVector’ crash or whatever is gonna get fixed? Happened to me not even 3 min after logging in….logged in…went to EBG…as soon as I started running outside DB keep, I just crashed.

You guys crashing. if your playing the game over wifi it might be the routers your using. not sure why this is but some routers just seem to hate this game. try using an ether net cord and try using a direct connection, and see if your problem is fixed.

I often get a crash to desktop in WvW and the report dialogue box is up, but I can alt-tab back into the game and it works just fine. If I close the report dialog or submit a report, then the process is terminated.
I checked for the crash log but its from a year ago, its not being logged as a crash.

Knox, im not playing the game over wifi bro…crashes arent related to direct connection or wifi connection bro…crashes have been happening to lots of peeps since, and are related to, changes made during the last quarterly/living world update bro…
I had this one when leaving WvW by the “Leave the Mists” buttom. It opened Auric Basin load screen and crashed.

So…two weeks now since the last big update on the 26th and myself and others I play with are still getting crashes….I myself had one of those ‘m_sphereradius + tolerance’ crashes once again earlier today while testing necro builds in the PvP lobby…any updates on when these crashes are going to be fixed?
I know there is another topic already but I don’t really know what it means, anyway its been 3 days and I am crashing in wvw for no reason at all, whether roaming alone or in a zerg it randomly crashes, this has never happened before, anyone also experiencing this? Or is it just me O_O
I really want a fix for this, getting a crash as you stomp or see lootbags near you (I hate and do not use auto loot) this is just turning me off wvw Q_Q
I’ve had crashes last two nights. Up to now I could probably count my crashes on one hand (been playing since a bit after launch).
I have had crashes a lot too. Then i read something in the other topic where a dev said you had to activate a reward track as it could be the issue. Turned it on ( dunno why it was off tho) and havent had a crash since.
Also 2 days ago a friend complained about crashing so told him to do same and was fixed.

Same here. I rarely ever get DC’d or crash. I can’t remember the last time actually till this week where it’s been pretty constant.
Finally got annoyed and gave up.
not sure if its the problem your having but ,i was having crashes from time to time and then realize it was something to do with a reward track so i change the reward track and the crashes stop until that reward track come back, cant remember the name of it soz
I crash or D/C when I queue for WvW sometimes too. No idea why.
Pretty sure there hasn’t been a moment where I haven’t had a reward track active.
if your running 32bit OS like me, you maybe running out of memory. Next time you crash, copy the first few lines of the report that comes up (says see more info or something) and paste into the thread that a anet admin posted in, they maybe able to tell you whats happening.

Fun fact: The last 32bit only desktop CPU was made like 2003. 32bit is literally obsolete technology, lol. I dont even know why Microsoft even make a 32bit version…
But anyway, the last big patch definetly introduced crashes. So not really much to do. Can always try to do a repair on the client. Sometimes it help, sometimes it dont.
I was getting crashes about every hour. Managed to mitigate it by setting GW2-64.exe to high priority. Might work for someone else.

I’m getting the ‘m_sphereradius’ crash bug at least once a day now…super annoying…apparently a dev said it had to do w/ rendering in the game? Anyway, just want to know how much longer it’ll be for fixes to these crashes to come out. Also, I hope future quarterly updates aren’t as crashy as this latest one. I don’t think the other previous updates were this bad in terms of bugs/crashes. This latest update certainly seems to have the most persistent bugs/crashes so far…IDK why though…

Four years and Anet still can’t optimize their game :/ Sucks, because WvW is fun within the brief windows of not lagging or crashing.

Sometimes I still get that crash I posted when leaving WvW to a PvE map, but that must be a map transition error and not a WvW specific issue.

Ive had frequent crashes lately, though most seem to be the msphereradius one, but it happens in places other than WvW (had it happen on the last batt phase for teq; map was full by the time I reloaded so I ended up missing the reward. Best. Use. Of. 30. Minutes. Ever.)

Been over 3 weeks now…any updates yet on when these bugs are getting fixed? I’m still getting the ‘m_sphereradius’ one at least once a day.
Guys, I know rechoosing reward track might be too hard for you to understand and might not solve your problem, but it might crash the game regardless of the progress on it. EVEN if you had reward tracks active all the time.
as most of you are too lazy to read the posts:
- most peeps got their crashing problem solved by swapping reward track, even helseth. Try it.
Now my other tip if it doesnt work is: Reinstall the game, lol, even if you spam guild wars support with messages, they’ll just give you same advice.
