They seem to have increased the population capacity of the servers so there is no problem in transferring to Desolation, we are in the need for morning and night/off prime time guilds still that can help Kaz and our other night crew.

Our guilds on Desolation are really dedicated and would never leave the server, nothing like what happened to blacktide or farshiverpeaks would happen here on Desolation !

Agreed. Even when we had to cope with the sudden departure of one particular guild in the past, Desolation did not have ‘fairweather’ guilds like that one transferring en masse to more easy grounds.

We stuck together and molded ourselves from the ashes to rise again. If anything, that one act of desertion taught us the valuable lesson of having a strong community you can count on; even (or rather especially) when the times are tough.

And having such a strong devoted community is probably the best aspect any server may hope to attain and keep. In my humble opinion Desolation is such a server and we would welcome any and all people of like mind who wish to strengthen this great community even further!

Of course there is always room
There are many different types of guilds on Deso, from super-hardcore WvW-ers to guilds that only do WvW events 3-4 evenings a week.

It’s time to refresh this topic. Desolation really need guilds that play in GMT+3 to +10. If you are bored, looking for a new home, consider Desolation as a best choice. We have great community and short que in our primetime 7pm-23pm GMT. Join Desolation community and play alongside IRON, GOD, GH, DsD, BuLL and many more competetive guilds. Join now and face one of the best WvW guild in EU such as RG, WL, Aegis, ZDs, SiN, OSC, VcY.

Here’s a bit of info about Deso:

Current position in ranking/tier: Bouncing between tiers one and two

Information about alliance: Steel Cerberus. We-will-desolate.net – Bi weekly (Friday and Tuesday) alliance meetings on the IRON teamspeak (which is open for all to use).

Guilds on server: IRON, GoD, FG, AOD, JuG, GT, EXG, EXO, TEQ, DsD,BuLL, OMNI, ZOMB, CoEx, Godless, HOPE, TFL, DeX, VoTF and a few I’m sure I’ve forgotten I have a bad memory xD

Which time frame need more players: Pretty much Midnight GMT – Noon GMT – Our primetime coverage is pretty good, queues are very low despite our very high status.

Goal as server in future: We here on Deso are committed to having a decent WvW team whilst never forgetting the fun that can be had! We’re aiming to stay where we are, bouncing around tier one and two, but we’d like to have the coverage to stay up in tier one, so if you think you can plug that gap give us a once over.

Bump for this. With the influx of guilds to other top servers, we in Desolation would like to add to our numbers too. I’m sure the other servers would agree that Desolation is an excellent base that just needs some more forces to be able to match the top two servers

5 min. qeue in primetime isnt much. (on EB and 1 or 2 bl)

Still seeking more guilds to even the playing field in T1. Desolation server is an excellent choice. Steel Cerberus Alliance is growing and desolation proves to be as stable as ever.

If, let’s say IRON, would get their kitten out of bed at 9am on a saturday or sunday, you would easily dominate ppt.
I know we are most likely larger in numbers, but most guilds do put in 10-14 hours a day during the weekend.

I would also like to welcome Afterlife to the opposition Was fun fighting you at reset.

IRON has done this (getting up and out early, usually 6am GMT onwards) loads of times on Saturdays / Sundays but every time it made little difference to the overall score since we have minimal coverage on Desolation out of prime time (even at prime time there is only 5 minute queues).

After the sad loss of DSD from Deso, who have returned Baruch Bay (Good luck guys you were awesome for Deso and will be missed loads by the wvw community) we have openings for a prime time guild or two.

We also lack coverage during the day and at night so would welcome any guilds who wish to join the server and who can cover these time slots.

Unfortunately another prime time guild has left Deso in Fg, who have gone to pastures new in Piken Square. They were instrumental in getting Deso to tier 1 and helping keep us there. Once again really sad to see you guys go and hope it works out well for you guys.

Anyway we have more space for a prime time guild or two. Also we need greater coverage for the day and night. Our queue’s have been non existent or very short up until the new patch in prime time. On restart last night only eb and deso border had significant queue’s.
