*appearing/disappearing
*teleporting
*running really fast
*not dying
*moving players – very unlikely but I know if I don’t include it….
*changing teams (friendly to enemy at will)

You should not see me doing any of the following:

*fighting back / fighting npc characters
*standing in unclaimed land
*reviving players
*using siege and supply

Thanks for the headsup, I’d like to mention please dont say when you will be doing this, in specific detail, or where, so as not to tip off the jerks.

Also please look into view/zoom hacks, it gets annoying getting hit when way out of range , top of a cliff, way behind a gate etc, to obvious zoom hackers.

A goon in hockey is a player that goes after the biggest bully on the team and picks a fight with them.

If we are getting GM’s in WvW I highly support it! I hope you’re able to visit more then one server!

Would be nice to know roughly how many cheaters were caught over the last month, might serve as a deterrent for others if the number is significant.

If it’s just a PR visit then obviously don’t release figures as it will just encourage the cheaters knowing that the chances of ever being looked at are slim to none.

Frankly any attention to wvw is nice to see, but it really needs a full time GM or two or three to cover the servers to help remove some of the hackers and cheaters.

Gus suspended the account. I believe it was for two weeks. They were caught placing irrelevant siege to block placement of legitimate siege. We also saw their placement of 50 or so siege as well as ‘stacking’ interact objects (plates of food, for example).

If they violate again the accounts held by them will be terminated.

If there’s a siege griefer, are we supposed to report them via ticket, report as a “bot” through report system or PM you/someone else in game?

Just wanted to thank you guys for the bans and answering this question; part of the problem is that people didn’t know how to report for siege griefing. I suggested to report for botting the other day and 2-3 people quickly said NOT to do this. So clearly there was confusion.

You guys are awesome, keep it up. None of us believe the “I’m a victim, the GMs are corrupt!” BS that always emerges after a ban wave. See it all the time.

Awesome to see some of these griefers/hackers being banned… Now to see a giant sized DHUUM ala gw1 do the banish……

I’m sure those that use hacks appreciate the warning so they turn them off…..

As Michael said, always report these guys for botting. It is the best way to get a GM to the location ASAP to evaluate what is actually happening.

It would sure be disorienting to have to read three /m or /t simultaneously.

what about scrubs alt+f4ing? downed this condi teef in my matchup and he rage quitted twice. Than he proceeds to spam me with emotes. I mean I didn’t even do anything bad mannered, all I did was kill his friends one by one like bad henchmen in a movie.
