Hey guys,

Off to a new week, it will be interesting, even though the differences were quite large in the end, I think it can still be full of surprises.
We are three awesome servers who deserve a place in this tier and have potential of growing into higher tiers, although we have different playstyles and different preferences we can all unite in the feeling that we have a passion for WvW. Let’s make this another awesome week with amazing fights, in blobs, in guilds or in small scale.

To bb: Either you form a 60+ group or if it’s remotely equal numbers you run. Have some pride in your work. It’s only a game where death costs 1,33s. It’s embarrassing.

Was a bit of a dull reset on AG boarderland… DsD wouldnt push when they outnumber 2:1 … they had to wait for Nuke and/or CS plus others to make it 4:1 before they would engage. Was tough to get any real fights going with play like that.

Eventually you got into our garrison, then you logged off. Guess losing to 1/4 of your numbers without any seige up is humiliating but it no reason to up and quit on mass! DsD, CS, Nuke … none remained. Was hoping for a bit more fun, given that you had broken just about everything you could in there

As usual, Gandara had a bad reset, but I’m sure we’ll pull things together again later in the week.

What is it though?
We have a large population of (UK) residents, where others seem to consist of more eastern (as in beyond the North Sea) residents.
Do we go to bed earlier, drink more, are more relaxed?
I would have thought we had an advantage being the most western of Europe with regards timezones.

The best I’ve seen BB play all week, was near reset at the north camp of GB. They occupied the interest of several (drunk/tired/eager) Gandarians, with a small force at the east entrance. It worked!

When we left the vicinity to chase them down, another 20-30 arrived from the west.
By the time we got back to defend, all was almost lost, but we managed it – true with some help of being close to spawn.
But seriously, I’ve seen very little skill from BB the last week, often getting beaten by much smaller forces.

2:1 you are only 15 or are you kidding? In this reset DsD have 35 members max and they stay in map no more of 1hour when we have 30 ppl. No one FURY or KISS have less of 25-30 so… outnumber 2:1? 4:1??

anyway you build ballistas everywhere in open field and we dont complain about that.

We wait for CS and Nuke? another LOL; we dont see in combat CS in all nigth, and Nuke only 1 time in all nigth. If you are outnumbered you can run if you wish.

I dont see your tag or your guild. For me all the respect to FURY and KISS you are awesome guilds and has be an honor figth against u two. Dont make this post another discusting post about enemy blobs and bla bla bla… just be real and fair.

Only they don’t make for it in numbers. We have pwned their kittens with half the numbers all week.
In no way was I suggesting that particular fight was a blob. Just that they surprised us, for once.

Had a blast on your BL this reset, just luck I guess that 2nd time in a row (different BL this time) we ended up on same one as you guys. You “almost” played differently to last week 2 “seperate” forces instead of 1. Epic defences of Bay were had. Until at last due to time – a few logged – and bay was lost. Cheers to NR for the support in zone.

Rushed with our 6-8 remaining guys to AG BL where Nuke, DSD, CS (yes they were they DSD saw 5-10 of em <3) were engaged with Kiss + others in Garrison Lord Room. Managed to res the lord once and enjoy fighting on the edges of a huge fight. Dissappointed to see the spanish leave map entirely barring maybe 10-20 “randoms” afterwards.

Anyone notice how it was rather ability lag free in garrison – typically in that kinda fight there is always lag. Was impressed tonight.

It’s normal to go to sleep dude… we start resets now at 2.00 AM spanish time zone (gmt+1). Actually i was kinda surprised to see so many ppl at reset since it’s unusual to keep playing so late.

Sorry but the only blobs I ever see are BB. AG is playing a more honest and honorable war most of the time. BB is just steamrolling everything, like a mindless giant.

If our main pop is full of randoms or small guilds… it’s a normal tendancy to blob.

Only big guilds prefer to play tactically spreading. The small or casual ones can’t do anything if they don’t blob. They can’t siege, or they can’t fight if they aren’t a big numbrr so the only chance they’ve got is to blob. Suprisingly, you can’t handle them so l2p should be applied to you maybe?

But you have guilds like VLK and VITA almost hugging around all the time with the BB randoms. And you got the regular DsD group with 20-35 people + their randoms of 15+ all the time (Which I find a bit fun as they were the first guild on BB to claim they do not blob up).

But hey, I’m not here to lecture anyone how to play, and especially not when you can see AG guilds doing this now and then. But it’s pretty easy to see who is doing it the most :/

That’s because someone must take care of randoms, and with only 1 commander doing it, plus tge fact that BB pop doesn’t like the guilds playstyle, the only thibg they do as i said is to blob. Blobbing just between them or joining a guild’s raid.

Anyways, vlk and Vita play mostly in Eternals, so that’s the most radomized battleground… even if they play with the same tag, they play as randoms. I see no difference really there… i’ve seen randoms do the same job as they claim to be doing since i hardly ever see them cap SM when full supplys or T3 upgrades; if it isn’t in PvDoor.

Interesting. We, the Shadows, had the same feeling regarding several forces from Gandara and Aurora…

I have to agree with you with that. We have too many pugs.
Hovewer i think that some should check again their numbers before comming here and accusing an entire server of no skill.

Spanish WvW community may be young and lack of exp many times but we learn fast (Some of us xD)

I wish i had 10 more players in [CS] so we could fight against FURY, UNITY or KISS in a different way but we don’t.

I’d like the BB who were on AG BL at reset to clear something up for me. Were you attacking garrison and legging it as soon as defence turned up as a delaying tactic or did you just not want to fight? If it was a delaying tactic fair play, if you just didn’t want to fight then seriously, wtf? Had superior numbers several times and still bugged out rather than fight!

As a BB player, i must say that some of these things are half true. It’s true that BB is running usually zergs on all the maps in WWW, but so do AG (specially) and occasionally Gandara.

I am one of those roamers that choose not to stick to zergs, because they’re boring, not tactical, mindless, lagfests in general, and i don’t really enjoying blowing my autoattack key to kill some random dude that is falling apart and i am not even aware of where is dying.

Lately since the last WWW change, i been joining WWW less and less time, i usually come across Zergs, or groups or 10+ people…. It’s so rare the case of spotting soloers, or roamers, but it still might happen.

If someone comes across the way of a female Norn Engineer from the Vaeringjar guild, you will prolly see me alone, or with 2-3 couple fellow guildies, its rare the case i am in bigger numbers. And… to the AG complaining that BB got no skills, i must say that 95% of the duels against AG players were piece of cake (talking about 1on1’s) were Gandara proved me to be a little more skilled when it came to that situation…

Less zerging, and more tactical fights, small grouping, and fun fights….. Mindless Zergfests are so boring.

There is something i really hate about my server BB. A lot of players seems to be unexperienced, or just too afraid to fight, unless they are in a 3:1-4:1 situation (no kidding). I’ve saw fights were we could have clearly win, but instead they did chose to run away, thus allowing you guys to chase and charge in and kill em slowly while they keep retreating as rats. Ill give you that

Seriously, we we’re 8 [CS] atacking AG garrison last night; Do you really think that we will stay and be rolfstomped by 40 defenders?
One things is being brave and other thing is being noob.

We tried several times to ninja-take garrison. Ofc we didn’t expect to succed but we didn’t have the numbers to do anything else so…

We atacked, you came and we left. We would have taken it if we could.
In the end we just wanted to prove our server that even a small group can make great things helping to win the matchup.

I don’t care about blobs. It was probably the same before the culling fix.

What annoys me is that a lot of very skilled guilds refuse to fight when they have slightly less or even numbers. If you have a group of 15 vs. 20 – then just try it. Death has barely any penalty attached to it.

Good post, I’m sick of this new word “blob” its Anet mechanics which make you safer in numbers, every server does it with random players following each other. Anet needs an icon where only guild members can view so it doesn’t attract pugs to their group.

Can we please not have yet another thread about people complaining about the other servers’ zergs.

We all blob on all servers as we all already know. Complaining about it wont change a thing; that’s why people have set up GvG matches which are normally held on Fridays, this way guilds can play against each other with fair numbers.

Now, sorry to the few DsD members who tried to take AG’s north camp twice, we saw you coming and hid to ambush you, were nice fights.

We all do run in rather large zergs, the main difference is the amount of time per day where a server has the ability to bring up big zergs like that. I dare to say that the difference in points in this tier is mainly to do with the fact of how long a zerg can run, not how many one can put in that zerg.

Anyway looking forward to a new week in which I hope to find good fights and where the power of Aurora Glade will show itself once again.

i have no word about blob or huge guilds. it doesent matter for me. i mostly roamer/small scale 2-4 group every1 play like he want.

Btw this was all the KISS on after reset

DSD run on average larger than any other guild on match up FACT (30-35) stated by DSD players good source of loot bags though..
