Glitching and exploiting and all that happens on every server.
And there is very little we can do about it apart from reporting it.
It is frustrating and has been going on since the release of this game but is imo not even worth mentioning anymore, since all it does is discrediting a whole server for the actions of a few.
The only one who can stop this is Anet themselves.

I’ve experienced many glitches on my asura engi which are collision related with jump shot and some kit skills that make me appear on my own screen meters away from the target although I’m hitting in melee and then suddenly my screen updates. Before the turret / supply crate fix this was even worse / more frequent.
In some cases if I used directly another targeted skill after my glitch, it hit on the area I targeted from my glitched position instead of from my “real” melee position so in fact had a longer range and may seem like a teleport hack because (at least on my screen) I never returned to my “real” position.
I’ve also seen with the toolkit magnet (pull skill) that targets glitched out after I pulled them and got stuck or ended up on top of objects like smaller ledges but haven’t seen it on top of a wall yet but wouldn’t be completely surprised if it would happen.
Haven’t been able to reproduce these types at will and I’m not interested in it but I’m sure there’s folks out there that find ways that always work and use it to their advantage.
This isn’t to come to the defense of what happened. If I would’ve been there I wouldn’t have used the portal and would’ve at the very least told those involved off and if I got the impression they used it on purpose or got an unfair advantage of it even reported them.
Well earlier this week I came across a thief from Miller’s using speed hacks, think it was DDR tag or something like that, and this morning at Bay on GH border when we were attacking and were inside I came across another thief speed hacking with Xaoc tag. He was so kitten fast I managed to only have him selected for a brief second before he stealthed, so I didn’t get to report him. Point being I have witnessed some unsatisfactory things in every matchup, and tbh this has been one of the cleanest, so lets keep it that way.

I’ve not been present for the whole thing but so far I would agree, it has been very clean and am glad of it. Even if not, it is never a server’s fault and ultimately there’s nothing people can do about it.

awesome fight trying to defend bay against GH on GH BL just now i think we res lord about 4 times lol, there was literally a handful of us defending against a huge army of GH and i think we pulled together nicely and really held out as long as we could, great fight to be remembered
Handful? THAT’S a handful?! You had a million gusy! In my view, the sides were very evenly matched.
We had a tough time getting our guys to push in because they were obsessed with downing that lord you were ressing, gj.
definitely wasn’t evenly matched we were very few in numbers compared to urs, we knew we were gonna lose it when we seen u coming but we fought till the end and gathered our bags of loot even the post before original comment mentioned about how few we were lol
Anyhow great fight guys really enjoyed it even if u guys did kick my but across the floor sooo many times lol
I think things are different depending on the point of view… I was there and I think we were both matched with numbers, but ok, it’s the same.
We’ve hard time this few days, because it seems our ppl are less than before, I don’t know why… we need to concentrate on one map and call for help in another. You see numbers but ppl you see are almost all the players we’ve at the moment all together, it’s very difficult, but sure it’s fun.

Honestly, having experienced their massive zergs, I have to say every group in FS is enormous. There is no such thing as a few or handful as we understand them.
Nobody at Anet loves WvW like Grouch loved PvP. That’s what we need, a WvW Grouch, but taller.
When theres a 40k gap it makes sense to go for the easiest points you can cos you can’t close it. When there’s a gap this small it makes sense to go for the server above you to close it twice as fast.
However, I would also say going for GH IS going for the weaker side during prime time.

It’s not so much as for ganging up on the weakest side, it’s just that whoever is weaker will simply loose ground to both the other 2 servers while the other 2 are somewhat in a stale but also continue fighting eachother.
If you however simply look at it from map view you will feel like you’re the onlyone getting attacked because you’re the onlyone loosing ground.
The last 3 days GH and FSP have been focusing on eachother a lot simply for the fight for 1st place. Millars had the choice of who to attack, as noone really had a lot of intrest in their border, and when it came to borderlands millars was usually on ours, while we were on yours, and EB is the 3way fight i explained earlier.

If there was anyone that attacked your border/EB side and sacked your T3 keeps and towers it was us. Millars sometimes came after that happened to take those downgraded keeps and towers away from us.
And millars has been way more active on our border than on yours the last 3 days, and if they did show up on your border it was usually us that had to fight em off cause they capped the things we took from you.
And besides, you can hardly call yourself the underdog if you’ve been in the lead almost from start to finish :p

Ok sorry, you are right. I imagined fighting zergs of Miller’s and FSP on our BL at the same time, nevermind.
The be all and end all is that if Miller’s have been visiting you guys on your BL then they haven’t been doing a very good job as it has looked remarkably blue all week, however GH is all the colours of the rainbow! lol well 3 colours anyway.

tbh i have seen millers in the form of underdog, never fighting for T3 keeps/towers but waiting for the other to cap it so they can fast ninja it when its wood.
perfect example was EB yesterday, we took the entire GH side and we send ppl to GH BL after.
about 15 minutes later half GH side on EB was red, including keep.

Truly sucks to lose the lead at this late stage but FSP, you did a great job and came back really well. Didn’t seem to matter where we were, you were there in numbers. That’s some great coverage you have! We went for months of being stomped down the tiers so we’ll dust ourselves off and get on with it.
Honestly I couldn’t tell you if it was numbers or not cos I couldn’t see you most of the time! Hell, I couldn’t see us most of the time either. That’s really spoilt this matchup.

Congratz to FSP for well earned victory.
I was very surprised on how we performed first couple of days, but in the end better team won, Gunnars should keep fighting next week, its gonna be very tough but we will fight hard
What’s most impressive to me is that FSP beat us despite getting basically nightcapped – proportionally our night squad is much more powerful than other servers of our primetime strength, so we’ve ended up being promoted to a tier that can smash us hard enough in primetime that our nightly headstart doesn’t even matter.

Just saw an FSP D/D Ele with a [RtR] tag glitch into a fully upgraded Sunny, luckily he wasn’t accompanied by Mesmers.

just to come clear. That was me. I did indeed glitched into sunny without knowing that was even possible. I did killed a player inside the keep before thinking myself that i should not be there and pulled out of there. I filed a bug report and next time it happens i will pull out without doing anything.
