Any feedback where or when he will be available so we can claim our rewards?

That was just some random user adding some speculation. As far as I am aware, the NPCs aren’t in the game yet. I assume that ANet will give some details in their live stream in ~17 minutes.

There is also no trophy-finisher, as it was mentioned in official announcement

I assume they will be added soon™ (a month later).

At least they created a unique icon for the new currency that they are going to use for further wvw seasons, oh wait.

After nine weeks they just couldn’t implement the NPC? Really??? Sorry but thats a big fail imo. It just seems as WvW is their black sheep.

I remember when I used to play Ultima Online and mess around with the SphereServer. I could add any NPC I wanted from a graphic UI in less than 5s. Those were the times.

Now, things seens a lot more complicated. Months to add npcs. This must be some really high tech kitten!

Disappointing decision on that, I am sorry. At least you could send us an e-mail with details, where to get our weapons and when, instead of having the same old scenario of people asking in map chat for information. Please communicate better with us and give all the information we need IN GAME at the time required!

that’s pretty unkind of you guys. It was already bad enough that the tournament got extended 2 more weeks when no one wanted that or asked for it, and now that we’ve finally waited those 2 weeks, received our hard-earned 1st place tickets, we get to wait even longer…. sigh :-/

yeah. this is kinda fail. makes no sense… wouldn’t help me though. i didn’t get a chest yet…

Most of the Anet staff are working with the Chinese cash cow version. Don’t be shocked if LS season 2 sucks.

Genius idea… release a new currency people worked their kitten off for 9 weeks to earn on a Friday, and make it worthless until the following Tuesday. Of course, notify only the minority of people that visit these kitten WvW forums. Way to inspire the player base. You continue to baffle.

No offence since I know you probably didn’t have anything to do with this but this is unacceptable given the tournament has gone for 9 weeks.

What I would like to know is why Anet adds a vendor days AFTER the tournament has ended.

That’s like making a dog do a whole bunch of tricks (the WvW meta) putting food down into the bowl for it (promise of reward) and constantly telling it to wait (the realisation of having to wait not only for chest, but to actually open it), and then finally putting the food away and saying it’ll come in a few days (the anger, frustration and disappointment now ensues). WTF. Like why even bother saying you’ll get your reward at the end of the tournament, when in reality, you aren’t?

I don’t think I’ve been this disappointed in a game since the downfall of Runescape. And don’t even get me started on cashing in 6,000+ blade shards after wasting precious bank space for months waiting on that vendor to make its way into game only to receive a bunch of greens I could have obtained in 5 minutes playing in Edge of the Mists…

But why. GW2 continues to surprise me. I really love the game and I even love the living story/new stuff that we constantly get. But why such a cruel thing to do?! I got my tickets and now I feel rather enraged because I’M UNABLE TO CASH THEM IN.

Probably because they’re still catering to GW2 China while the rest of us suffer. Either that or they’re on vacation still since October of last year. At least it very much seems this way from my perspective.

I copied and paste this to map chat, every time someone asked where the vendor was today. Responses to my c&p varied but were along the lines of “Are you %$#@ing kidding me?”

As if waiting for the tournament to even end wasn’t painful enough…

this is pretty disappointing, the lack of planning and development. Seems cheap.
