I remember when JQ was in tier 3-4 with SoS and the people from SoS were moving to JQ because they had better coverage but they certainly weren’t a power house even at that level. So what ever lies you’re talking you must not of even been on JQ since the start of the game. At that time JQ had a stronger oceanic presence than SoS, what ever happened?

Don’t let the facts get in the way of a good story. JQ has been in T1 since launch for the longest time of any server and has fallen to T2 twice during that time. JQ has never been in T3 or T4. They fell to T2 during one of the three day matchups and once during once of the first week long match ups and bounced back up each time. Since 29th September JQ has been in T1 and been 1st, 2nd and 3rd spots. This is not in dispute. A quick google can find all of this information and more on independent websites.

Anyway, its all moot now, the scores are being reset which I personally think is long overdue and we will see how things shape up over the coming weeks.

But anyways, culling bombs, portal bombs, veil bombs… don’t matter to me. It’s easy enough to counter if you pay attention. Plus, those who do it are only hurting themselves. They’ll never fit in on a 5 man team.

I can imagine a portal bomb acolyte joining a gank squad. They all jump the target. Portal gus just sits there.

RMA went to SoR with UL from SBI to make a Brazilian alliance from what I heard. So no SoS did not send them they chose of their own volition.

The real reality is unless anet brings a massive wave of new players, the current stacking for wvw will be addressed by anet in one way or another. Clearly the reset is their hopes to bring wvw back into a balanced state. If that fails something else will happen.

It is important for the players all be able to voice their frustrations/concerns. The only way for anet to understand whats going on here is if the players speak up. JQ I am very disappointed that you keep throwing the “deal with it” attitude out there. The massive players that joined your server should not of been allowed by the mechanics of a “full” server.

It doesn’t matter what one individual says but I garuentee if things play out where there is a lot of negative feedback around wvw for the top tiers (most of the wvw) player base there might be some interesting changes.

I can totally respect server defense and loyalty to a serve after all I love SoS. I just think its horrible that someone would call us a thorn in the servers side. With all fairness to have health competition on T1 is excellent. But I think if we get a real look at the score we will see that this match up is severely lopsided and the accused 2v1 is a reality. Just with some of the people and there comments proves that. The score reflects what’s really going on, domination due to a stacked server and bliantant 2v1, if you think other wise there is massive of disillusionment.

All you have is a perception that JQ is now “stacked”, and other servers are not. And that doesn’t even include the difference between population and attendance, in case someone is shouting “but we’re outmanned”.

Looks like JQ is even having self conversations in this thread. With the amount of rubbish / walls of text. It’s safe to say everybody knows what is happening. JQ how does it feel to be the Zerg server of guild wars 2. Now guild tags and names don’t mean anything to your enemy, enjoy.

This doesn’t feel like tier 1. Too much complaining for the supposed top tier matchup where the biggest, meanest, most competitive servers play.

JQ has what it has. The real tier 1 servers will figure out how to deal with it as best they can. The other servers will not remain in tier 1 for long.

All of this is silly. The scores will put both sides of the argument to rest over the next couple of months. Until then, there will be plenty of good fights against JQ no matter when I log on so I’ll always enjoy facing them.

SoS has been winning (#1) 9 out of last 10 match-ups. And now they whining about balance? Give the other 2 tier1 servers the exact amount of wins, then you can talk balance…

It really doesn’t matter though. JQ does have more people and coverage and there isn’t anyone that can deny that. If you do, then recheck your point of view and what server your playing for. Of course JQ players gonna say no way were not stacked. You are and scores show it. Sadly, I wish the hardcore guilds talked about these transfers instead of transferring just for the win. Yes we talked about it. All the guild’s that came to JQ are part of the community and WvW while important comes second to making sure the community is stable and that we all enjoy each others company. JQ community has always been strong and I’m pretty sure we will survive.

Well no reason to bring up HoD than. I’m glad your saying these things are discussed. Because they should be. Don’t get me wrong ill fight you guys till the bitter end. I give you guys props than, who wouldn’t want to experience winning? It just seems there is a ton of arrogance going around right now. It’s sad for T1 players.

I agree that there have been some close games, but there have also been some very lopsided blowouts and several games that ended with insurmountable leads. For the sake of clarity let’s say that a close game would end in a 10-15k difference, because anything like a 20k lead would be almost insurmountable by Wednesday.

In nine weeks I see only two to four games that I would consider close, and more games with large point differences in favor of SoS. This all depends on where you draw the line for a close game, of course.

In any case, Jade Quarry has lost every match up with SoS execpt for one for more than two months. I definitely don’t remember the kind of histrionics we are seeing here on the match-up thread during that time. Some players should just accept that you can’t win every game, and that winning should actually be a challenge. Now you have one. Rejoice!

Disregarding the forum warrior waffle, this has been a good week for ingame fights.

Playing oceanic hrs on SoS I have not personally noticed a significant drop in our numbers this week, we still had eb queued mostly and sometimes queues on sos border. I have noticed a lot of new SoS commanders, welcome!.

I have also noticed we now have more presence in SEA/EU times and welcome the new arrivals! Some very good fights occur late in my timezone!

IMHO, SoS/BG and JQ open field team tactics have all improved with new arrivals!

BG has done great this week and showed they are a true T1 competitor, JQ has been impressive as usual. Hopefully all three servers will meet again somewhere in the new WvWvW series after all the Feb reset waves settle.
