Like or Dislike new WvW Bordelands
I was scout…. My favorite place was hills, and my play time was close to only off peak during the day.
People who don’t like the new map are not only the KT players… The KT players have leaved because there is no one on the map.
I have already give a lot of suggestions, and I’m tired to speak in the wind without any answers from anet.
Just stop playing the white knight sparc….
And if I speak about the alpine map it’s because the new one is just a big piece of kitten, and all the new thing from hot are the same….
WvW should come back before the stability nerf… Without elite, without the guild hall and all the guild bonus…
The game now is just about pirate ship, cc and condi… it’s not fun anymore… Oh and I forget, pve grind to be able to active stupid pve stuff on keep…
Sentry have killed the communication with the roaming guy and the scout.
New WP have killed the need to defend something because there is no point to hold something, you have the WP at T0.
Auto upgrade killed the active management from the scout, to choose between storing supply, building siege, starting upgrade. And before no supply in the keep mean no upgrade. Now each dolly bring supply, even with upgrade in progress… To easy, to boring.
Tower are completly useless and except PPT they have no value at all.
Keep are ugly, too big and useless because you can’t control the WP. And if you control the WP, you have it at T0.
Stupid puzzle jump (rampart, air keep)
New class without any skill balance…. So much control now… Melee players cant just play…
The shield generator was a bad idea. If your zerg have enough supply and ennemy don’t have a zerg inside the keep you can just attack safely…
Hate it.

If people would get off their lazy kittens and go LEARN them (like I’ve been saying from the start) – they too would like them!

I have the feeling you like the desert bl because there is no one left to fight in T8 so you get excited by the PvE mobs.
Puck, yes i do like some aspects of the new BL, but i also can see where they went wrong, event, gimmicks, but that is what this game is about, action mmo, heavy gimmick based.
WvW general design(how it works) is the major issue wich leads to those empty servers, it was soposed to be a place to be forgotton, where pve players could random play pvp/siege or treb wars, with their pve gear, it was never to be a serious gamemode, nor bring something good to the guilds doing it, all those nodes, pve mobs is to much forced content.
-it has to much servers,
-server side cant handle that much players arround 80.
-balance issues on WvW Anet covers them with gimmicks, like those banners, airship, and a few drop lots of siege and AOE to easy take stuff down, on new BL takes longer but it is ok, people where just way to much used to get stuff way to easy.
When you make a game work like this, and prepare a BL where its layout, design and theme is equal to all 3 server, plus its size, while on server side it cant handle the humber of players to make it a decent map, imo the results were more obvious than anything else.
I dont see how Anet will fix it, but if they think by adding a new Alpine BL and a new Icy map, each map for each color, will not solve the WvW issues, just try to hide what makes WVW work poorly overhal.

The visuals have really grown on me. I can also deal with the size and verticalty.
But some of the impossible to defend walls, automated defense turrets and the PvE events in the middle make me die a little inside everytime.
