Anet, and People, i really need understand who is logic of game…

If you make, a Ranger Full Berserk, you go doing 1, 3k for a Critical DMG, and maybe 8k in Hunters Arrow “4,5 sec” if enime dont dodge… but in 2 sec you die to Thief with a dmg of 13k in back stab… or 7 k of damage in basics atks.

If you make a Necro Berserk, maybe a crit dmg 5k in lich transform, and Max 2k per hit in Dead Shoroud… but same problem.

If make a enginer Berserk, you do more or less 1, 5k of damage in basic atks and no more 5k in another skills or Kits…. same problem

Mesmer, Shatter or Pure Damage for me its Ok, 3k per ilusion total 9 for ilusion, do so much damage…

Guaridan make a beatiful damage, but i think normaly the class propose is not do a lot damage.. but can fight with a theif in justice duel

But… Warrior Damages Basic with GS 3 a 5k for bounce or a LOT damage in Hundres Blade… but now they have a great incress power+ skills of Sword with a big damage…
But in relation a Thief. he dont go in Stealths… but fly… more can do greats duels…

Thief… dont have words to say of hiim… 13k for skills… 5a 8k for basics atks… very skills of furtivit…. alot skills weapons to do blind….

I realy understand this… make a thief and play hitting 13k od dmg in anothers classes…

if you make build of condition or defense you never go kill a thief… cause if you do half bar hp of thief he go blind you and use shadows skills… full hp and hit you again… you go die in 5 seconds.

Thief have 4a 5 skills of stealth… and have a trait Embrace Shadows… remove 3 condition when you into stealth…

I go make a pray to ANET, see anothers classes.. i realy tired to play Thief Wars 2…

Honestly GC thieves are fine. Yeah they hit hard but if you can stop the burst you should win every time. I would gladly fight a GC thief over a full PVT thief. Very tanky thieves are close to impossible to kill, they probably won’t kill you but they just don’t die. At least you can burst a GC thief down.

Very tanky thieves are close to impossible to kill, they probably won’t kill you but they just don’t die. At least you can burst a GS thief down.

But I do agree with OP. Thief’s inbuild survivability is too high looking on how much damage he can deal, how easy it is to have outnumbered action, how mobile he is and how easy it is to stay alive.

The big thing with thieves is that inside of a large group their usefulness declines greatly, our guild group usually only wants 2 or 3 Max and to use as scouts/yak killers, once engaged in a big fight they don’t do much compared to other classes

Guys this is not point… i want understand… what propose of anet… to make 8 charcters… but if you equip to play with berserk.. just thief and warrior have a nice damage… i supose if engineer… do more damage, i think more people using this classe, this is for a ranger too… Ranger have pet…. but die with 1 skill…. retreive a pet of ranger and put more damage to him…

Thief is fine. Learn to avoid bursts. Many other players do it, so can you. Playing a thief for a short while in sPvP may help you if you’re having problems with them.

Can we please move this to the thief QQ subsection so others don’t accidentally click on it? Thanks.

The class itself is fine, but the retarted PVE buffs like bloodlust sigils or food inflate their damage greatly while Anet is just cluelessly watching from the sidelines as player frustration mounts.
Also counts for warriors.

You can use such things with any class though… it’s hardly thief/war specific. Ex. Corruption sigil, 40% cond duration food. I use it on my eng and it’s just as strong as bloodlust + the 10% crit dmg food increases are on my thief.

And in fairness their survivability in larger groups is abysmal especially if your running inti very heavy combat situations (looking to engage even larger groups), im fairly sure my guild would LOVE to find a thief who could run with us, unfortunately we have yet to find a single one who can consistently survive long enough!

Logic of Game is a guy who punishes you for equipping your character(s) with full berserker gear and taking them into WvW.

ok, so who wants to go in wvw Berserk, can not, or just have to choose to play retreated to the extreme, and choose to play with build pvt, ptv, carrion, valkiryes ….

Party then for a clearer example and aim to better understand what I’m saying … say you’re in wvw, more are taking one x1 “Duel” …. where comes the point I’m talking about … if you are playing with berserk Engineer, Ranger, Necro, Even the elementalist … damage done is very low compared to the damage that the thief and warriors will cause you. that’s what I’m talking about, that instead of giving a critical hit with a ranger 1.3 k every second, he gave 3k … in 1 second because the thief will give you 7 to 8k in ATKs normal, and Warrior will give you 5k.

Enginner is the same … understand what I’m saying is that the damage of other classes near Thief and Warrios all Berserks are ridiculous … and survival even if the berserker is high for these two classes ..

I run a PvT hammer warrior. I have no issues at all with GS warriors or Zerker Thives and even my lowbie Necro have no great issues with theses classes.

ON the Necro i can spam Blindness with the best of them and cut down there DPS with pumping them full of DoT’s that removes there ability to survive. A warrior that is fullzerker will not have the Runes needed to survive a ton of dots.

With my Warrior i keep stunning them every time they get annoying and as the fight drags i will win and they either have to run or DIE!.

I worry more about thieves who run with enough health not to instant gib them self on my retaliation and can hit and run well.
