Need a 'Applied Fortitude removal' trap
Why would anyone waste money and badges stripping a buff they enemy will get back 2 minutes later from tagging a guard?
Obviously its usefulness depends on where you place it.

If it removed food people would flip their kitten. It would give people the power to strip a costly consumable. Weapon and guard stacks would be annoying at best but they are not hard to get now.

Applied trap? meh, sounds about as useful as the stealth trap
now, if we had a 30-60s “boons cannot be applied to this group, debuff” trap…

Removing applied fortitude or guard killer is only a fraction as useful as the current supply trap removing 5 supply. Besides, it costs 130 world ranks to get applied fortitude anyway which is well above average in cost for a given world ability/rank line. I’d say just leave it.

Don’t argue with idiots, they pull you down their level and own you with experience.
How about a queue trap? Enemy trips it and it creates a 30min queue on the map for his server. Sounds pretty good.
Or they could implement an anti-PvP trap where people can only run around and karma train. The name of this trap would be “EotM”.
I think there needs to be a new WvW trap that works similar to a supply trap but remove 1 of each of Applied Strength and Applied Fortitude from those who are affected when it triggers. (Reason: AS and AF are such a no-brainer choice and easy to obtain, I think there should be some way to strip them.)
Each of these cost 115 points to obtain, the only thing that cost more (300) it’s Supply Capacity. And you say its easy o obtain. If you invest in these, you don’t have points for other categories.

Of course I have them both, everyone does! That’s the problem :p
I could imagine a zerg running across such a trap and losing 30*500 life (or 30*5*500 if it removed the full stack) immediately as being pretty good.
A boon ripper trap would be neat….
A trap called “Deploy Sentry” it creates an illusionary sentry defender, flag and a circle to the ground that is as strong as the original however being an illusion it gives no credit whatsoever. That is what I want, I could effectively split a rampaging army and destroy those that actually attack when the other is standing there, confused about not having wxp credit.

Removing ACs and golems would be better. I would not want people to spend 10s of gold on golems to see them disappear in a second. Golems are only used to counter ACs, so removing ACs would solve the problem.

Why would anyone want this | : ? I understand that there’s a lot of power creep in WvW, I’m not denying that. But it’s 115 ranks and not everyone gets it within those first 115 ranks. On top of that I worked for those ranks and I’d be kitten angry if someone could spend a bit of karma or badges to strip me of that effort. It may only be 115 ranks but that’s like saying you didn’t work to get your character to level 80.

Omg what if there was a trap that worked like Line Of Warding but ignored Stability and lasted 4 seconds? That’d be awesome and also frigging hilarious xD. Could you imagine laying a trap near your tower gate and watching an entire zerg faceplant in to it and falling on their kitten a bunch of times before it wore off.
