Some great fights at the reset in EB unluckily some of “our” guys went off due to sore eyes in EB and had to pull back to Gandara bl.

Its a shame that this match up is over the xmas holidays as I have been looking forward to fighting my old mate KC and his sunshine band (Boon control). Enjoy the matchup everyone that does play and lets hope its a nice clean one.

having high hopes for the matchup against piken, it’s sad to see that people from [INS] and [VAR] are using the invulnerable exploit in greenvale…

really you consider that a exploit? I mean wall jumping, terrain exploits, to skip sieges etc yes thats a exploit… but ive seen so many people do the above, that i dont consider it exploiting… i consider it spawn, and your probally spawn camping too hard and just need to back off let them come out or die to invunerable foes… Ive seen big zergs even do it when they were getting their kitten handed to them by lesser numbers.

It’s not that hard to pull away a little bit, and it doesnt have huge effect on campaign… But if people want to already start flinging mud i can see what kind of week its going to be, even though its Xmas.

Been on PS borderlands all day (excluding a brief stint defending our Bay from PS on Gandara). Had some fun fights already!

Plus we killed a couple of VII and HoB – but I meant it affectionately!

Nice fighting going on with stonemist. Unfortunately after nice fair battle Gandara capped stonemist so someone felt the need to spoil a good fight.

Mesmer in the walls :

@Boomstin – Piken Square does not tolerate any hacking or exploiting, nor do the guilds present on the server condone cheating in any way. However, your screenshot shows a mesmer trapped in a wall not long after a keep got taken, correct? I have seen numerous occasions when players have become trapped in walls due to the flipping of a tower/keep, the most amusing of which was when an enemy fell through the bridge at Hills only to be trapped by the respawning bridge a millisecond later. Please do not throw mud with weak accusations.

I was the commander on the map trying to hold SM when you capped it, and that mesmer was unintentionally stuck in the wall. SM had JUST upgraded to fortified seconds before you capped it, so I assume its a bug. Nice job taking it by the way, we were too busy trying to get dolyaks into SM to realise you’d trebbed the north wall down, and we had outmanned already so couldn’t really hold it with the numbers you threw our way

Pikens been under strength for the recent weeks due to Xmas, so we aren’t expecting to hold up too well in this matchup. We’ll give it our best though More fights like that would be good.

And again, this wasn’t hacking or exploiting, it was just an unfortunate glitch due to you resetting it back to T1

I’ll take your word for it. Guess i’m a little touchy after the teleporting german’s from previous weeks.

People still should log out and respawn after such a glitch so we could avoid the confusion about taking advantage of glitches.

I’ve had this happen and it’s impossible to log with you standing there as you remain in combat so can’t waypoint. The only solution is to log out to switch char unfortunately this now leaves you with damaged armour as per the alt+f4 fix(not sure it was intended to work like this). If it happens again just back off far enough to let his aggro drop so he can WP(but keep and eye to make sure he’s not dodgy(goes for anyone you find stuck in walls)).

Yes been a nice few days so far I think all servers are suffering from drop in numbers both due to the ingame and real life Christmas Event so in theory who know what could happen this week!

As its our first time in tier 4 since daily matches staying in it for a second week would be another great result for us Gandarans lets hope we can keep it going!

Should be nice to read the description of invulnerable, before shouting “exploiting”.
I have participated plenty of gate/spawn camps in other games, now that’s really boring, in GW2 you have the possibility to kill campers from invulnerable zone, at some places you even can pull the guys/girls towards the defenders life`s hard, you have to face the fact that you can`t camp the starting zones at GW2, try to find some other fun, trust me you can

lol, good lord flashbacks of getting rolled over by a WB+ in warhammer when I was solo roaming and getting all the /lol /puke /laugh.

Felt a bit like that last night actually (without the nastiness, obviously) but I certainly got rolled over a few times!

just a quick heads up to fellow Gandarans,, We seem to have gained 2 new Blue Doritos this week called Blue Commander and Blue defender.. Now whilst it is entirely possible that these 2 idiots could just be Gandarans usiing daddies credit card, the way I have seen them perform so far makes it much more likely that they are from one of our opposing servers (Looking at you Pikeys), anyway, just ignore these 2 guys because they are either criminally stupid or spies sent to lead our random numptys astray.

Yesterday i have spend several hours in our Gandara map.During that time apart from last 30min-1 hour mark when we have tried to retake our gg and Bay was under attack from north too that spot was openly abused from numerous Piken Square players.Members of [INS],[VAR],[DT],[ASTL](not sure for exact name was something very similar) and many more than enough other players to make our players quite upset and report for exploting all of those Piken Square players.
So Insanesu.3965 please check your facts before posting your lolwut.If you are officer/guild leader of [INS] maybe is good idea to talk with your guild members NOT to use that spot.Same goes for any decent person from [VAR],[DT] etc if you guys care.

Please be more clear, if you’re still talking about the invuln spot in the camp then rofl, leave them in there and go about your day, them being in there has no outcome whatsoever on the course of the match unless people are too stupid to move away and leave them to it. We’ve had a recent influx of guilds to our server who I can’t vouch for, but the very fact you mentioned [DT] and I think you meant [AFTL] as hackers, makes me doubt anything you have to say, you show us indisputable proof or at least describe what you think they’re doing that is so wrong in a clearer way, or you won’t be taken seriously.

So we have 2 players that transferred to your server for the week, bought commander tags ( as we have never had commanders called that on our server) just to mislead your pug forces? That’s nothing but amusing if true.

PS. @Sagepoet, every server at some point feels like they’re being double teamed, it’s the nature of a 3 way battle.

I quite agree that if it is the case then it is ridiculous but you would be suprised at the lengths that some people will go to to either win or to troll others. Also, these would not be transfers they would be roaming second accounts created expressly for this purpose.

But anyway my main point is that be these the actual worst blue doritos (and trust me we have plenty of bad ones) on our server or trolls from another server please just ignore them.

Just join the squads of the commanders you trust and the rest go poof from your map

Please my fellow Gandarians… stop chasing after single perma stealth thieves!!! I logged in earlier on the PS borderlands and saw no fewer than 9 Gandara players stood around trying to fight a single Thief who stealthed-hit-stealthed-hit. None of them could lock onto him as as soon as he apeared he then hit and re dissapeared (maybe using black powder?) while these 9 players just stood around like lemmings.
These 9 were needed to help the break out event but i guess chasing a single thief was more important!

Been a relatively good clean hard fight so far and a very close 3 way battle I know we are all sufferig with numbers and will do even more over the next few days but so far….. it’s been emotional ;o) /salute

Bleh what with Rendering issues, Lag spikes, and flu it’s a wonder I can even see the screen.
But there have been some really really good battles and skirmishes.
;) was really good keeping a server on it’s toes with being a pain at both Hills and their Garrison getting the outer walls down on both before they even realized lol.
But I salute the defense of both must of made the other maps very sparse of peeps lol.
Any Hoo I’ll be around today but won’t be around or even on game for Christmas day more than my lifes worth if I did that.

All’s fair in love and war.
We just persuaded them to use their mom’s creditcards (don’t think we’d spend it), which wasn’t all that difficult.

I’d hardly say, moving to a spot where you can’t be killed is a game mechanic. :P

I know Gandarans also use it and I tell them not to be such cowards. Same goes for any other server, take the fall like a man or get your bum out in to PvE with the fluffy bunnies n stuff

As for those dodgy commanders, it’s pretty shallow for any server to ruin a players experience by sending anyone to mess with a server let alone get these people to spam /t /m chat with a bit of idiocy to ruin the balance of a server through flaming.

DO we really need to say that this behaviour is ok? “Let’s push other players out of WvW by making their experience a pile of kittens, that’d be awesome”.

Anyway, had a fun night in WvW last night, AR were after bay watergate which cause quite a bit of panic due to our limited number on the map at the time but a well placed arrow cart and pew pew pew!
