I think it’s quite simple, WvW has been feeling a little stagnant lately, why don’t we spice it up a bit with more uses for supply? More mobile siege platforms (like Golems, or even the Assault Roller!) I think a mobile shield platform, a mobile waypoint, or even the ability to set up a “Camp” that will then have dolyaks routed towards it when nearby, that slowly gains guards, armored walls and all the wonders of a tower.

For the next expansion Anet should split WvW into two separate modes: a pure siege vs siege game with no PvP and a pure PvP game with no siege. Same maps, same objectives, only in one players attack and defend structures ONLY with siege while in the other all gates are open and attack and defense is all about holding and breaking choke points.

Failing that mobile waypoints sounds like the most hilarious thing ever.

Where my portal-able mortar?! The one siege that is made to counter defensive siege bunkering but they will not add it in. Even portal-able cannon was good counter to some defensive siege all though it was used in it self as a def siege.

Just because ppl hate siege they are willing to give up on adding in more siege even if it counters the current siege meta its annoying and bad for the game over all.

What about “taming” the grub with supplys (food) in eb? Could mount a lot of seige on that beast.

Each siege is just a tool not a features so one siege is counter by another. Bilsta was the counter siege but due to its drop after firing it could not deal with def siege and because its dmg was not updated when they made siege harder to kill made it pointless over all. To fix this you need to buff bilsta and let it fire in a arc and cannon in effect did this for you. But this mindless “community hated it, because they wanted the issues in the game to be fixed rather than add new features” we lost a real siege counter to def high reaching siege that blista was not working.

There no real counter to AC or shield gens as a means of killing them out right you can only stop there dmg. That where we need to look to adding in more siege.

try saying that to the rest of the community that demanded a properly function game mode over siege that might of made the existing problems worse
