Why is it, that if I start a stomp uninterrupted and an enemy starts to revive a downed person at the same time, the revive wins?

The stomp time seems to take into consideration how long it takes to get someone into the downed state.

I haven’t noticed Revive time being significantly faster than stomp time. It should be faster if the Rezzer is traited to act as a combat medic.

I would agree, if only 1 person could revive at a time. However, 5 people can revive 1 person pretty kitten fast.

Also, every class has an interrupt while downed.

You have to realize there are other factors that go into revive time, some classes have boosts to reviving, I think maybe Warriors if not mistaken, plus the amount of people reviving of course will make it faster. Maybe healing ability, the amount of HP, etc plays a factor as well.

I would agree, if only 1 person could revive at a time. However, 5 people can revive 1 person pretty kitten fast.

Also, every class has an interrupt while downed.

5 have interrupts, 3 have repositions. For example you can still finish your stomp with a blink skill if you blink where the thief teleported to.

And you can stab stomp the interrupt skills for those 5 classes.

As far as I can tell its intended. If you don’t have any down penalty before you go down you are pretty easy to revive. Damage, interrupts and things may stop people from reviving you. If you have more than 1 down penalty the stomp beats the revive without interrupting the stomper.

Just so. It’s the reason why small scale is a success too. Because zergs need to learn tactics. Haven’t been killed by a 30-man zerg in solo roaming… (for the last 2 days spent in PvE because WvW is broken).

Maybe you ought to learn that in a zerg you don’t do stomping. You have so much aoe you can outdamage any reviver. Now be away, zergling.

Edit: I was totally serious. Every single time I go roaming and get downed by a zerg I see 10 people trying to stomp me and then get facesmashed by some aoe stun from friends. They never learn. xD
