HI guys
I play on EU servers. So with the free changes before season 2 my guild moved to Gandara. Lovely comunity and best WvW I’ve seen, since I’ve only seen Gandara and Underworld the choice is easy, but I gotta a problem, my computer can’t handle big zergs very well. Because of these I started roaming a while a go. I love it, but the problem sustains. I can go solo but once I see a zerg, from my server or enemy, good bye FPS. In my privious server would only happen when 2 zergs fought and it wouldn’t be this bad.

So here I’m asking, and since I mostly solo roam, wich are, in your opinion, the best servers to roam, either solo or small group? Are the Bronze League servers a good option since they problably have less ppl than Gandara and the servers we fight? (Jesus, this weak vs Deso, once in SM, I haven’t even seen half of Deso zerg and my FPS were already below 10 and when I saw something again I was dead, not a ver fun experience)

Last time I fought Vabbi, they had pretty good small roaming teams. Do they still maintain those or moved to a more zergy style? And how about the other Bronze League servers?

Smaller servers will naturally always have smaller zergs. and lately – thankfully.- more commanders have started to understand the value of small roaming teams doing other objectives.
We Vabbians maintain small roamer teams. Sometimes we hook up with the main force. But there is always some small roamer groups going around.- Its all community based. those that keep coming in and join action away from main zergs. end up knowing each other. and does better taskforce teamwork.
Your old UW is actually also doing better now with that also- Seen some good little taskforce teams around.
Base problem is how the game provides personal gain- it might be tacticaly wise to have a squad defend a tower- but there is more personal gain from taking one-
+For the most casual – it is easier to just join a zerg rather then hone your skills in small teams.
On Big servers- there are so many players around that you can’t really find a spot to do small teams in-

UW recovered a bit since the massive exodus during free transfers, Vabbi lost few of those that transfered here during that time and WSR isn’t that strong either – some of their guilds moved to AG. T9 is actually quite balanced atm.

Beside Vabbi is there any other bronze league server that uses small groups frequently?

I wouldn’t say Vabbi tends to roam – our server just doesn’t have enough people (mostly). But the tendency stays for most – to gather up and run as one zerg once it is possible.
For you vabbi might be a good shot, there’s pretty much always some outnumbered fight.

I think roaming is done with for most servers atm… when I want a fair fight, I just go to SPvP nowadays cause WvW is either condibunkers with perplexity runes or 50 man blob.
And this comes from an ex-vabbi player. The server is better than most of the blob silver league servers, but don’t expect much in the way of roaming.

Both WSR and Fissure of Woe. (Vabbi’s current equals.) have good roamer groups. and no not all are pure condi.- . I would say Vabbi, UW, WSR FOW are all good places for small unit tactics.. UW is currently the underdog of the 4. but it is mostly due to – out of main time – player numbers..
Serious respect to how each server has improved since I started gaming.. far less blobs. and far more tactical small units. Far less predictability- Yes it also means that as I have been running home defense and upgrades most of the time—— well it has hurt here and there….. like last night >.<
But!. I honestly feel I want a – while dead – Emote of taking my hat of in salute to some of those that got me.
