Welcome to the Big ‘Ol WvWvW Wishlist. A stacking list of items that WvW players want for their gameplay enjoyment. Note that some of these may clash with each other, and that they are polar request that will split between those that don’t want and those that do. However, the list will continue…
1) Removal of the AoE cap
2) Some sort of limitation to Mesmer portals (working for party members only?)
3) Golems ability to attack keep walls.
4) Nerf X Class (this applies to all…so just fill the X with the class you hate the most).
6) No more [orange] sword flags
7) Buff to supply camp guards (+2 levels isn’t a worth upgrade, but making one or two of the guards champions would be much more rewarding and detrimental to rush tactics).
8) Faster Yaks
9) Slower Yaks (really? okay…)
10) A reward chest at Keep/Garrison/Stonemist lord kills.
12) Direction + altitude based ballista (instead of target based)
13) Per map based bonuses for objectives owned (monetary/gold find only)
14) Another jumping puzzle like EB’s.
15) Spike trap upgrades for objective doors.
16) Fix/patch against stealth-trolling cap prevention.
18) More item skins from the BoH vendors.
19) Better power upgrade to superior/omega siege
20) Squad UI for commanders (see everyone in the squad on the map, kick people from squad, invite people….like a party)
21) Magic find/gold find boons for squad members and commanders
22) Guild Labels at objectives (though a guild’s banner flies above it, if the NPC’s had some mechanic that said “this keep is owned by ‘X’ guild” so that it’s also a recruiting tool as well).
23) Mobile squad spawn units (A mini Asuran Matter Reposition Relay [A.M.R.R.] able to deploy and destructible, something a commander can set somewhere on the map for 30 minutes, costs 1-5 gold, and allows for everyone in that squad to spawn at that point *assuming not under attack)
24) Upgrades for road sentries
25) Guild Lords (Keeps/Garrisons/Stonemist where a guild can claim would have said guild the ability to spend Influence to upgrade the Lord into a Guild Lord Champion, making them have more HP, hit harder, and overall a harder to take objective).
26) More PvE
27) Less PvE
28) No PvP in the Stonemist jumping puzzle
29) More PvP in the Stonemist jumping puzzle (“Allow me to kill allies with those traps”—)
30) Buff X Class (this applies to all…so just fill the X with the class you play)
31) Remove lake area in Borderlands (“this area is useless”….though that would make quite a few sad Quaggans)
32) Remove downstate (riiiiiiight….)
33) Make defenders on battlements immune to AoE (due to attackers having a strong advantage….though this is conceptually impossible).
34) Double Oil and Cannon health
36) Line-of-Sight fix for battlement edges (players have to stand on the literal edge of a wall to get a clean shot at the enemies below, even with seeing them clearly prior to taking that suicidal position)
37) Players supply objectives. (giving players the ability to drop off the supply they carry at a keep/tower so as to supply it like a yak currently does)
38) Extended, longer Yak paths (basically allow a Yak to go full circle instead of between two tiny nearby points so as to supply multiple locations)
39) Allow for repair of siege out of combat.
40) Everlasting-siege (until the siege is physically destroyed, it wouldn’t have a timer)
41) Extend the curvature of the siege (catapults on the ground are able to fling over a wall).
42) Remove road sentries
43) Yak escorts need more power (make the two guards have more damage or more CC style knockdowns, knockbacks, and stuns to defend the Yak better)
44) Increase drop rate for Badge of Honor (make it more rewarding considering that neither Karma nor XP gives currency towards WvW gear as BoH’s do).
45) Increased Support Rewards (for trebuchets, Yak escorting, healing/booning allies)
46) Player spotting options. (i.e. if you see a player and press “r”, it would beckon that player to allies for 5sec, or continuous if in combat).
47) Individual and Guild WvWvW Ranks
48) Harder to traverse terrain (something like forest, maze-like canyons, and such making for guerrilla warfare)
49) Change Treb manning requirements to 2 or more people ( because loading and firing is more than a one man job).
50) New WvW maps.
51) Make BoH a system currency instead of physical item (to help reduce bag clutter with stacking limits of 250, and also to not lose out on bags lost)
52) Additional stat-blend sets for WvWvW (adding more choice for players to buy with their BoH besides Power/Toughness/Vit gear).
53) Bug Fix: Right-Click chat box invite (the only option showing now is “report” when trying to right-click someone’s name in chat)
