Is there anywhere i can read about if they are going to do anything about the count of how many dolyaks you need to kill to get that achievement(Yakslapper). I been working on it for a while and everyone who i seen post from or have did calculation on how long they said it would take definitely aims at you’ll be long dead before that happens
The new borderland and skill that’s gonna come with the Yaks is why i thought of this. If it’s gonna take me longer to get rid of the yak cuz of escorts. 1 million dead yaks is gonna be lightyears away with this method of approach. i still want to mess with it anyways but i just wanna know if they are gonna do anything about it???

I can’t find the thread right now, but a Dev had said with HoT the WvW achievements were being greatly lowered and Yakslapper was being brought down to 2,500 kills while ultimate Dominator was staying the same.
For Heart of Thorns, we are rebalancing the WvW Lifetime achievement requirements to much more reasonable numbers. At the same time we’ll also be updating many of their associated titles.
We are not changing the Realm Avenger (“Ultimate Dominator”) achievement requirements or title, as some players have actually obtained it and it’s a bit of a status symbol.
The “Yakslapper” title will remain, but the requirement is being reduced to 2500 yaks.
As an example title change: “Ultimate Liberator” will become “Kingmaker”
Wow if that’s the case this is a total let down if it gets reduced to 2,500 i got that title 3 times already… sigh I would have been happen with 50,000 at most. Oh well… and thanks for the replies.

Its a joke title like Honorary Skritt so who cares.
Except that it’s not… People have been busting their Kittens to get that title since launch… yet another thing that Anet is invalidating from WvW…
Given how long it was going to take if you were honestly trying you were………… What were you going to grind for 10 years just to get an ultimately meaningless title? Ridiculous.

Let’s put it this way: Someone who wanted that title never had a chance to work towards it.
So both points are valid – and they are. I never worked towards it as I knew it was useless but now everybody gets it for minimum effort, so it’s meaningless anyway.

Believe it or not yes, some people do work on long term goals. Not myself personally, but I’ve known many people that were downright determined to get the title…
I’m not really saying that it was ok where it was, but really it should be harder than it’s going to be…2500 yaks is a piece of cake.

maybe they can change em like the wvw ranks ..so an improving title depending on how many u killed..like every 2,5k another one. i did not focus on killing dollies (did not only play wvw ) and i also had a longer game break and i got over 10k dollies.. so ye 2,5k is nothing for someone who wants to ‘work’ for it
