To even consider putting a T1 server against T2 or T3 is outrageous.

You guys need to re-think your logic.

No, I honestly don’t think the people behind these decisions actually play wvw a lot. However, I’ll disagree with you on one small point: I think it’s feasible that a tier 2 server could possibly beat a tier 1 server. But beyond that I definitely wouldn’t bet against the favorite.

I’ll keep drinking this alcohol. Then maybe I’ll be kittened up enough to believe its a good idea to randomly mix up servers out of the blue. Something tells me probably not.

well i am kind of ok with fighting other servers which don’t know us in and out and as weird as it seems I kinda look forward to new fights… I know it will create a lot of chaos, but also the opportunity to meet new opponents and create new strategies…i’m ok with it, but lets first see how it is gonna work out, don’t rant right away! maybe we will get some epic fights still and not just the top 4 or 5 servers get new players and transfers. what i’m trying to say is, don’t freak out guys! I am happy to meet new servers we all have been stuck in the same matchups for weeks and it could be exciting!

Also keep in mind ArenaNet has a lot more data then we do including population numbers. I am sure they also have statisticians. If not the consult with Statisticians. Randomness is used frequency in not only statistics but sports itself. I am sure they are full aware that coverage maters. I think this is one of the reasons why they stated that the data just does not add up.

With this system they can tweak the numbers a bit if the system does not give them the results they are looking for. They are willing to do this.

Holy **** I cant believe they aren’t making wvw rank account based. Who has the time to reach significant rank if they have a bunch of toons? Someone at A-nets needs to wake the kitten up fast before lots of people quit because they are messing up wvw motivation badly. Also we need to be able to wear our wvw titles in town. Who is working at a-net making totally stupid decisions? Account based rank and titles in town now! or we pack it in and take it to a game that doesn’t have kittened devs.

Please change the gem cost for transfers to depend on “server WvW rank” instead of “server population”. That way at least lower tier servers can recruit some new players to come over.

given that guesting allows you to do pretty much anything you want on any other server, and that WvW is basically the only thing that you must actually transfer for, I think it would be entirely appropriate for the price of transfers to depend on relative WvW rank.
