I ended up picking the warhorn as there aren’t many good looking warhorns. Non-mist mace looked pretty awesome, but I don’t really play with maces. Just seeing what people liked and why, I guess. peace

Sword because my asura warrior is radiant and needed a weapon skin to go with it.

I can’t decide. I play 3 classes – warrior, necro and thief. I’m taking my thief out of the equation because I have her look based on the dragon’s jade weapons, which I love.

I use my necro the most, so if I want something just for her it will be axe, warhorn, dagger, or focus (I have the bloody prince staff, which I love). Warrior can also use axe, warhorn. Soooo I’m leaning toward one of those two. Ya, all the usual warhorns are pretty kitteny looking so leaning even more toward that one.

I think I think too much … but I don’t want to choose something and regret it later!!

I didn’t, I got obsidian shards. I wanted to like them, but the weapons feel like they’d be ideal for a guardian, considering I play thief they just didn’t fit IMO.

Greatsword. Because its a big ole sword and because most of my level 80s use one in my build for them.

None. I play a lot of characters and a lot of equipment sets. For me, the best use was getting more ascended accessories that take a LOT of laurels otherwise.

Laurels take a lot of time to collect!

Sword, because it is really the only sword I’ve ever found that matches (in my mind) Howler, and I run a sword/warhorn build as my primary set in WvW.

Mace, because it’s just a big shiny metal spiked ball.

The axe is pretty sweet and one I’ve been considering as well. It has a nice shape and looks really sharp!

The focus is also really nice and I can personally use it on at least three of the characters I play the most (Guardian, Mesmer, Necromancer). Its color and shape also allows it to match well with other weapons. Unfortunately, one doesn’t see their off-hand weapon very often, as the character’s body is usually blocking it from view. :\

I also like dagger and sword, but I have the plant lightsaber Dreamthistle dagger and sword and I can’t bring myself to part from them! <3

I’m torn.

I took the dagger as that what my main character uses. I then took a staff kitten many classes can use the staff and I figured it would be more bang for the buck. I was torn on that last one as the greatsword is right up there too.

I chose the mace. The mace goes quite well with my Hronk’s ascended shield on my Guardian for a Mace/Shield secondary heal set!

None. I play a warrior and ever since the ability to re-trait yourself whenever the mood strikes was implemented I rotate between a bunch of weapons…only ever keeping longbow as my second. To that end I got the hero version mace, longbow, and greatsword. All of them go perfectly with my human cultural T3 and I am the black sheep apparently that prefers the non-mistforged look on most (not all) of the weapons. The rest of the tickets I just banked.

And if I ever change my mind…in coming tournaments I can just buy a Gift of Heroes and upgrade one…though I don’t see that happening with the GS and definitely not with the mace. Longbow might sell me in time.

(To anyone wondering I use the Genesis skin for my hammer and Beacon of Light for my axes.)

The axe and dagger skins were probably the best looking. The warhorn is a maybe since as someone pointed out above there is a lack of nice looking ones.

The rest were either meh or outright ugly IMO.

I went for the dagger.

I have a ranger, ele and thief so I’ve got plenty of uses for it and no good dagger skins so far.

There are lots of great looking dagger skins… probably more than any other weapon. Course the dagger in this skin set is nice looking.

Ditto. Three ascended accessories was too good to pass up.

I didn’t get any. I decided I didn’t think the skins looked that great so I used my tickets to get 2 ascended trinkets & 2 infusions for them instead.

I got the Torch. The white flame goes REALLY nicely with Radiant armor.

Dagger. Sorta looks like the dagger from some other videogame. I can’t think of which one it was, but I always loved the look of it.

I decided to choose quantity over quality. Luckily I do not care for the glow effect. I ended up buying 6 rare hero’s weapons. That way I can have their skins for when I level up my guardian and dress her up

Oh and so far I have gotten the sword, greatsword, staff, shield, and hammer. I am not sure what the 6th weapon will be yet.

i bought the mistforged hero’s sword, ‘cause it’s the best out of all of them, in my own opinion of course. and it matched my charr warrior’s t3 armour quite well.

then i bought the hero’s mace because i don’t need the white flame on it. i’m happy with the chrome spiked ball as it is. and it also matched my charr warrior’s t3 armour quite well.

the other 150 tickets bought 450 dragonite ore. because ascended…. because i have less dragonite than empyreal. and i’m debating which ascended weapons to make next. or if i want to wait 23 more laurels for the light armour recipes…

though i will admit i also like the axe and shield. but the shield clips too badly with my charr warrior’s armour :/

Leaning towards trident because I won’t make an underwater legendary… I really do like the mace and dagger though…. I might get hero version of mace….

Either way, I am sort of watching others to see how they look “in action”

Honestly, I picked none. The hero versions are to plain for my tastes, and the mist forged have that tail whisp thingy that I really dislike.

That and I hate the color scheme.

Was torn between the staff or scepter.

I really liked the scepter and I have enough staff skins as it is but I hardly ever use a scepter.

I bought the pistol because I was still using the seathunder pistol and my guild was making fun of me

Heck yeah I love how that mace looks too bad engies don’t have mace options :/ and mace skills suck on other classes

I was looking at either mace or hammer for my guardian. I was having trouble with hammer skins that I liked the look of, and the mace was just a really good design. In the end I chose hammer because I don’t really like the mace skills very much.

I got the mistforged Mace and Hammer.

In my opinion the mace skin is the best mace skin in GW2. Would be nice if Anet could improve the mace skills thou so I can use it on stuff other than PvE foes. The current mace skills are pants.

However, so far no one has commented on the mace but a few other players have wanted my hammer!

The 1 handed sword. Used the skin on my guardian, warrior, thief, and mes.

I think i’ll take daggers since they are cool, and warhorn since is the only weapon i miss a skin for.

There are lot of nice stuff, but unfortunately i run out of hands to wield them .-. i have already more skins that i need.

I picked 2 ascended trinkets and 3 infusions, because I dislike doing PvE and guild missions equally.

I just crafted my 2nd ascended set and even though i barely miss a daily, i am always short on laurels to craft more ascended gear. I just spent 30 laurels to get 6 wvw infusions, so i guess i will use my tickets to get wvw infusions in the future and not waste them on weapon skins. I rather use them for a better build than a cosmetic skin.

None lower stats then my lvl 500.

I’d normally have added the shield to my collection, but it’s far too small and there are better shields out there (Tower, the awesome dragin shield). I may have to get the spear. There are a real lack of decent UW weapon skins in this game and this one is actually bucks that trend.

I’d be tempted by the mace…but there are other maces I much prefer and use already. Swords I have no use for in this game so that’s out. The torch sounds tempting though – I’ll check that out again.

Ofc I’ll prob just end up buying the mini dolyak

Daggers (actually only one but I can dual wield the skin thanks to the wardrobe). They look pretty cool on my Asuran ele.

With the “change” I purchased an ascended accessory because as others have pointed out they are fairly expensive to purchase by other means.

Most of my characters are dark themed so it was kind of hard. Instead of being purely dark (abyss and scarlet dyes mostly) I added some silver (celestial was too bright). I then picked up the sword for both my Guardian (use sword in pvp) and Warrior. Its really big but I’m getting used to it. Even though there are a lot of good sword skins already, I wasn’t a big fan of many other skins. I also got the dagger, how could I not? Its great and has a decent size.

Other skins I was considering, the axe, hammer, and possibly warhorn. I already have skins I want for everything else except a dark staff. I’m waiting either on a new legendary staff or an Assassin weapon box to change the current skin on my Guardian.

The Torch! i asked last year for torches with White or black flames! Finally i got them with the extra token, thanks anet

But now i want a torch with black flames. : |

Sword + Pistol, love the scimitar like-like look. And need a offhand to go with it.

Mace and axe.

The mace I wanted ever since I first saw it, it was the best mace skin for me in-game; however, after they revealed the Mistforged skins, they brought back the Pavilion and the Sovereign weapons, so I had another shot at the Sovereign Mace (which, being silly back then, I didn’t buy when it was first out). So I guess it will be a while before I actually use the Mistforged Mace, at the moment the Sovereign one is the clear favorite.

The axe… I just didn’t know what else to get besides the mace. And the axe skin is nice, but only a 3rd favorite for me: my warrior mainhands a Tormented Axe (even though it is completely at odds with his look, the GW1 nostalgia and the call of his legacy is too strong) and a Beacon of Light for offhand, when necessary. But I think I will put it straight on the ranger I am experimenting with atm, saves me the trouble of spending some dungeon tokens to get an exo weapon for her.

As for the next tournament, I think I will get the shield, which looks very nice. But by then I might finish my Flameseeker Prophecies, so it will be kinda pointless. Spear is also nice, but atm I have the Al’ir’aska and, again, GW1 nostalgia gets the better of me and I will probably always use this. And Trident is not bad at all, in fact I would say one of the best Trident skins. None of the other weapons really appeal to me. Ah, well. There will be plenty of time to decide…

None, so I’m probably going to just hold onto my tickets for now. I like the dagger and axe but my thief already has a pair of mystic daggers that look great and the axe just doesn’t fit with the armor on my warrior or necro.

2 daggers for my ele

Prolly getting the dagger skin, altough there is an abundance of good looking dagger skins, they simply match to good with the look of my asura elementalist to pass.

Second one is for my guardian, the greatsword is one of the better looking ones in the game if you ask me.

The axes/mace/warhorn/hammer and bows look pretty good to, might pick the axes over the greatsword in the end. Since I never really use maces and might craft volcanus.

get yourself a casual guild that does Guild Missions, the cheapest and easiest way to get accessories is with Guild Commendations.

All look really good except the swords, too asymmetrical for me. The daggers were cool, but a bit too big to be a “dagger.”

I really liked the Shield, Scepter, and Torch. I went with the Scepter though, needed another good skin, and I don’t use Shield or Torch much.

I ended up choosing the axe for the mistforged weapon. Not sure what I’m going to use my other 150 tix for, or if I will just throw them in my bank until next year.
